Wow out for the day in Tamworth....lunchtime
I got fresh prawns 1/2 kilo yummo
Kazzy got crackly pork belly yum yum 😋
& of course cheesy garlick bread
Calrton dry on tap
Sat outside in sunshine under semi-shade cloth
Well done longyard my 1st visit super impressed cant knock anything

What a great surprise !
Very impressive with the quality of the food, quite generous in size and very delicious. Really recommended Chicken and Mushroom Crepe. Even a basic dish like Cesar Salad with Grilled Chicken is also very tasty.
Friendly staff, plenty of car park and convenient from high way stop. Really recommended. 😊

We're travelling through town and stopped to check out the Golden Guitar. Parked next to The Longyard and decided to sit in for lunch before hitting the road again. We were not disappointed. Big, beautiful old pub with a great atmosphere. Meals were amazing, service fantastic

Went for dinner and drinks with colleagues- great service and selection of drink options.
Everyone’s meals came reasonably quick, the schnitzel took about 3 minutes! Super speedy & they were delicious. They also have a courtesy bus that was free! So that was an added bonus.

We have visited many times before however we were attending the music festival this past weekend. Everywhere was booked out so we thought to give longyard a go for lunch. We rocked up place is packed live music playing. We managed to get a table and the drink and food service was so fast! Even with the crowd staff were lovely our toddler also had a great time and enjoyed their meal! Great drinks, service and atmosphere.

Watched Casey Barnes last night,
Was not aware that you could only hear him, not see him, as you could not move once everyone congregated onto the dance floor.
Very disappointed in the lack of tv monitors around the outdoor area,
At least people could see the artist they paid money to see.
lack of fans to cool down, when it is 38plus degrees and there is a high amount of people.
Only 1 high fan in the outdoor area.
Disappointed in the artists who do not acknowledged that there are people seated behind the mosh pit.
That cannot see a dam thing

Visited for Country Music! Saw West Texas Crude. Absolutely sensational band! Fabulous venue! Cheers for the music 🎶 & bar food! The cheese & bickies were perfect! Sandwiches 🥪 Super fresh & reasonably priced! Cheers also to the staff for the amazing service! 👏🎶👏🎶👏

This place has an awesome atmosphere, it's very busy but there are plenty of tables inside and out.
The menu is sure to please everyone and the food is excellent.
We didn't have long to wait for ours.
The staff are very nice and very helpful.

The Longyard is a great place to visit when in town.
The meals were beautiful, service was good but the atmosphere was amazing. Some nights are quieter than others, but when there is an event, The Longyard Hotel rocks.

The food was amazing and the bar staff where really friendly great atmosphere with the live band playing and the dance floor and the heaters and the fireplace! Will definitely be back!

Staff and service are spot on, doing a great job.
Atmosphere and venue are really good.
The food is OK, but i would not recommend the steaks, the steaks are over priced, and the sides are basic not worth $50 for a basic thin scotch fillet, almost impossible to get it any other way then well done when they are such a thinly sliced steak.
The food i had was 3 star, the staff and venue are 5 all day.
The motel next door is good if you want accommodation.

Raffles, members draw and good food on a Friday night. There is also live music out front. Staff are usually accommodating and friendly. Large portions, kids outdoor area with play equipment

Quite a new and large hotel and bottleshop.
Located just behind the Golden Guitar.
Well laid out with high tables, arm chairs and lounges and a pool table.
The food is delicious. I had a steak and bacon burger that came with crunchy chips. Big and filling, delicious.
Staff had smiles and greeted all their customers.

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, free courtesy bus in the evenings. The food was good: I got a Carbonara Parma special and it was as big as my head! It's a pity dogs aren't allowed in the outdoor seating, but I was able to tie my dog up on the grass and sit near her, and the bartender gave me water for her.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at The Longyard in Tamworth. The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating – we opted for the cozy indoor area. They even had a live band playing outside, adding to the lively vibe.
The T-bone steak I ordered was cooked to perfection – absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful, and we found parking to be a breeze. Overall, The Longyard delivered a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Just had a meal prior to see. Kate Cebrano. Well no indication that the venue was to be set up as a dining room so was not able to take a seat to see her at 7:05pm. Even though the tickets mention 8 pm to 11. Would have been able to save the money and sit in the alley as far as listening to whom ever will play. My wife was stocked that she got me ticket for my Birthday. Thanks longyard for that downer. I would not recommend nor will I ever visit this pup again. Left in discussed as to why they think that paying money to see someone, but don’t provide the seating to do so! Sorry to Kate.

It was a good pub with good atmosphere. Food was average but large size. $50 black Angus steak was full of grizzle and hard fat.
Over priced average quality steak.
Other food was good.

If you want to eat the best steak in town just come and say hi to this guys , absolutely amaizing cooked a 650 gm's of Rib eye on the bone.
Maybe $46 might sound expensive but it worth it to enjoy the best of the best

Great steaks. Great value for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Entree of chicken wings was delicious and a generous portion.

Great hotel with massive meals on the daily special. Many areas to sit and enjoy the atmosphere with a live band out front on the deck. The meals were that big I couldn't finish it.

Food is ok. The staff were nice. They don’t like dogs here, can’t even have the dogs in the outside area. We got told off and had to move to the tables on the laneways.

Disappointing food
We went out on a Thursday for the parmigiana special, I had heard good things about the pub group food and was excited to give it a go.
The order was placed easily, I was charged $21 and later found out the same meal advertised for $12 on the blackboard. Whatever, if it is as good as the hype I am not too fussed about the price.
The food arrived quickly but the disappointment soon set in. I noticed the parmigiana was a pre-formed love-heart shaped schnitzel, rather than a butterflied breast piece of chicken. Once cut open it was clear to see that this schnitzel was not prepared in-house by the chef. How difficult is it to butterfly a chicken breast, give it a bash with a mallet, dip it in a bit of egg and bread crumbs? Lazy, lazy cooking.
The chips were crispy and the veges were juicy, they deserve all of the 2 stars. I am angry that mass-produced, snap-fried, frozen schnitzels are served to paying customers. This type of food is usually reserved for boarding schools and mess huts. Truly disappointing.

Came here to party for country music festival over 2 nights. Had fun with a good atmosphere. Happy atmosphere at festival time when I was here. Didn't have food. Band was awesome both nights, not country, just covers everyone knows and can dance too.

Absolutely amazing. The son Ng room setting is great, the staff are friendly and the food was amazing!! By far, one of the best dinners we've EVER had!!
