Wonderful place. The sushi were perfect. It's one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had.. it was really something. The staff were very nice and friendly. They are also very generous- we asked for more teriyaki sauce, and they just gave us a bunch!

Went here with my aunt. I very RARELY give anyone 5 stars but I'm giving 5 stars for the service, the food presentation, taste, and price. The portions in my opinion are way too big so I'd stick with an appetizer as my main course next time and some soup, but I had the teriyaki tofu. It was fantastic. The inside was firm, the outside was browned and crunchy. Just perfect. That teriyaki sauce was perfectly made, not too sweet, not too sour, just the right amount of savory. I thought it was a nice thick sauce too. The miso soup was fantastic, I did feel like it wasn't consistent throughout the whole thing because my aunt got mushrooms and I didn't but that's okay it was still amazing. The salad dressing the ginger dressing is usually super overpowering and tart, this was nice. Really light and sweet. My aunt had this dragon roll, it was so beautiful it was almost hard to eat because the presentation is just so pretty. I'd suggest cutting back on the onions under the tofu and maybe serve it on some beans, or a bed of mixed vegetables, but otherwise everything was really perfect. The fried cheesecake is so cute and tasty! Will be coming back for sure.

Very tasty and generous serving sizes! Our go-to for our sushi fix!! Plus, outstanding service- it can't be beat!

The food and atmosphere was amazing!! The wait for food was a bit long but that was understandable because they were busy.
The person serving us was not the best. She came to our table to take our order and for the duration of our two hours there we had to flag her down for something missing from our order and for the bill. She never took our empty plates or checked to see if we needed anything else but she did that for other tables. The best part was being double charged for the item we had to ask her for a second time. Another gentleman who wasn’t our server had to check on us and take our plates away.
They did end up giving us two orders to go to make up for the lacking service.

Sushi is my favorite food along with poke bowls. I have had both from a various of restaurants in various different areas throughout the Tri-State area and Lumi Asian Fusion is second to none. I have probably ordered from here 50+ times in the last year ranging from dining in and ordering through UberEats. The quality of the food is the same each and every time. This place is a main staple in my diet. I order here two or threes a week at least. If you are looking for the sushi this is the only place to go.

Stopped in here randomly because we were super close and it was a great idea!
Very easy to find in the B&N strip mall, so that means there's lots of parking.
Walked in around noon on Sunday and it wasn't packed.
The have really nice decor (and very comfy chairs). Seated and attended to right away and the staff was friendly.
We got the pork soup dumplings for our appetizer and they were sooooo good. If you've never had them, eat with caution! The dumplings come out hot, with piping hot liquid in them too so be careful. But again, so delicious.
We got the salad with our mains, and while it was a very good dressing, note that the salad was swimming in it. Not. Even. Kidding.
My husband got the spicy basil with shrimp for his main, comes with a little rice too. It was very tasty but given how much we like spicy food, I'd say it wasn't spicy enough. Next time we'll ask for extra spice. I had the chicken and broccoli (I asked for it spicy too). Tasted great but will ask for more spice in this one too next time.
Overall, great ambiance, great staff, great food. We'll definitely be back.

Small and unassuming. We totally didn't remember it existed until we were looking for an easy lunch. We're so happy we went in. The food was delicious and well prepared, the drinks were flavorful, and the atmosphere was calm and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and the whole lunch took about an hour if that. It will probably be our newest go to sushi spot.

Really trying to find to the best chicken teriyaki after leaving Washington state (of you know you know ) me and my husband went and ordered take out. He ordered Hawaiian rice with chicken. She informed us it had seafood. We asked for it without seafood since it was only added to rice not cooked with rice . She informed us it was okay. I reiterated his severe Allergy to seafood. Of course we didn’t check before we left. Trust and all that. Well I regret it.

Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got and the food was very, very good. I will definitely be coming back here. The only minor nitpick is the open atmosphere of the main seating area, something a little more cozy would have been more up our alley. Very good overall.

Ordered the steak hibachi tonight, you can tell the food is high quality, fresh and tasty. Lumi is the spot to go.

One of my favorite place to go for sushi when I’m in the area! The fish is fresh and the rice ratio on the sushi is perfect. Some places add too much rice on their rolls.

Lumi, excellent service, even better food. Always a great lunch stop, usually order Pad Thai and or a Poke bowl. Portion size is more than enough, most times end up taking some Pad Thai home. The Poke bowl I order tuna and shrimp on rice with seaweed, avocado and edamame is great. Stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Lumi consistently demonstrates itself as a reliable, tasty, fun take out & dine in option. I am a big fan of the Poke bowls, fairly priced and great portions, loaded on the fish/proteins! These bowls pack a punch with flavor. My 8th visit and will be back!

I've done both dine in and take out and their Japanese is always fantastic. During the week it's wonderfully peaceful, with great staff, ambiance, etc.
Although it's Asian fusion I'd stick to their sushi/sashimi which is actually a lot more difficult to come by around here than you might think. Accommodating, good portions, and you get what you order. Not some random cheap fish that might give you food poisoning.

I really enjoyed the bento box. The chicken katsu was a bit over cooked but it was crispy. The chicken katsu bento box came with shrimp shumai which had a nice umami flavor to them. The eel specialty rolls were very tasty and the sauces that were drizzled on it had a nice taste. We also got the five spice chicken dumplings which were full of flavor! I really enjoyed those. We got take out and the wait was pretty long, but it was worth it. Also I had ordered soup but they messed up my order and gave me a salad instead, which was fine, but make sure to check just in case.

I’m not typically one to leave reviews but I feel like Lumi deserves one. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! The sushi and food is always delicious and the service is great. I have ordered delivery from Uber eats several times and for many people while at work and they always get the order right. They even pack the sushi according to each persons order and label everything. Definitely give this place a try!!

I’m gonna have to give them 2 stars. While the food was delicious the service wasn’t great! I went there with my husband and they brought my food out first. His food did not come out till 25 to 30 minutes later!!!!! What’s more upsetting is that the couple next to us ordered the same plate he did and theirs came out at the same time my husband’s came out!!!! Mine you they were seated way after we came and was served within 15 minutes. Like what was that about???? We should’ve honestly just walked away and forget about his plate. Like how dare they give me my food first and he had to wait 25 minutes???? Ridiculous for that reason we will not be coming back although the food was delicious.

I loved it! I went around 4:45pm, so slightly before the dinner crowd and had the place to myself. I had just hiked up sleeping giant and was famished and thirsty, plus it was a hot day. I was seated and given menu. I immediately ordered the Mr. GINGER drink. It sound so refreshing and I love anything ginger. Also asked for a water. They both came quick. Whooo, they put the right skinny gin in that one boy I tell ya! I ordered to start a seaweed salad and edamame. The salad was fresh and amazing. The edamame (which I wish they had a spicy one) was overly salted, heated a bit and tasty. I am not ashamed to admit I polished off the entire bowl myself. I ordered two specialty rolls. The dragon roll and rainbow roll. I got my meal in a timely manner. My water glass was refilled. The server even poured my soy sauce into my little dipping dish for me. Perfect service, really good food, and I always love a place a lone diner like myself can feel comfortable and cozy in. This might become a regular post hike spot.

I can't even begin to describe how terrible our experience was. In fact, I am still here while posting this review. We ( party of 6, 4 adults, 2 children below 3year) arrived at 6:10pm on Friday evening. We were told it would be a 20-minute wait. Right while waiting, another couple arrived and were also told it would be a 20-minute wait. We then left our number and details while we waited in the car. In 20 minutes, we came back inside and were told it would be another 10 minutes wait. However, we noticed the people who came after us were seated. We were finally seated at 6:45pm. We ordered immediately, and then our ordeal began. For the next hour, we would watch others get served, delivery meals get prepared while we waited. Waiting for 2 hungry kids was quite challenging. After a while, we asked the wait staff when our meals would be ready. After another long wait, they brought out the appetizer for our friends with the children. It took an hour long after several prompting of our food to finally get served. This was while observing people walk in, get their orders taken and served in less than 15 minutes. This was almost a slap in the face. What was to be a nice evening out with friends and family turned into something that can't be described. The experience marred the taste of what perhaps would have been a good dining experience.

Great happy hour!! Didn't get any drinks but they looked good! We ordered a bunch of apps and a few rolls and everything was delicious.

For the price of the food I expected better. I've had much better sushi cheaper. It seems like they made my order when I placed it and left it sitting out for over an hour. I ordered around 11:25 am. for a 12:30 pick-up. I was looking forward to trying a new place, but I ended up very disappointed. The Kani salad had No lettuce like they advertised. The rolls were small. The crunch on the kani salad was soggy. Lesson learned. Unfortunately I will not be giving this place a second chance because to me first impressions mean everything. The California roll was barely there. The salad dressing looks curdled.

Excellent food and prompt service. We had the black truffle white tuna appetizer and it was very fresh! The rest of the sushi was very good as well, I loved the jackpot roll.

Awesome food. Kind workers and the cook is a gifted talent. Clean and very good Japanese cuisine. Stop I think for the chef special. You won't regret it.

Attentive professional service in a cute cozy space . Excellent food with many flavor layers . Not just typical asian fare . I was incredibly pleased and tipped 25%. My daughter loved her sushi and I loved the chicken and broccoli 🥦. They covered all cuisines exquisitely with great service at an amazing price and value . It was my daughter's recommendation and I see why I trust her choices .
