Underrated magical joint with lovely food, good drink options and a hidden gem of Macquarie Street. Definitely go to the back and get served at the outdoor/indoor garden bar and bistro. Drinks are cheap and perfect for daily and weekend shenanigans. Crowd is dependent on the day and timings. Definitely check Google

This was hands down the best service i have ever received at a pub. The red head bartender has excellent customer service. I will definitely be back!

They updated their menu, we had a good dinner in the bistro and will come back again, the service from the girl is very nice

They are a step forward from the previous bistro operators (x 2) and the food was good.
The pub itself ....? By comparison to others in the area it looks like a Chanel Store but performs like a $2 shop. Clearly focused on revenue from the gaming room. The rest of us, don't matter.
De Angelis Group, if you have any pretence to being taken seriously as a hotel catering for more than pokie revenue, you need to sweep a big broom through this joint.

The let down I had was the food looks so delicious however no flavour at least salt will have been ideal. I did even eat the salad due the way the food tastes. They is a passion there however the food I had was tasteless and I realised I wanted my &18 for lamb Ribs I had to eat it coz I was hungry however If I was somewhere else I would have returned it. I will definitely come back to try other dishes than this. I was a let down for me however if people say I love it then they must be jocking with you. We are always honest and blat when it comes to our reviews. I think it a working progress

Seems to me the quality has gone down. The people are lovely, but the quality of the food is mid. Although in saying that, it's a pub bistro in Liverpool, it's not exactly fine dining. I suppose considering the area and the venue it's as expected.

Quite a disgusting venue. The sports tab stinks of cigarettes & the toilettes are disgusting & theirs no soap 🧼 in the soap dispenser. It doesn't look like a venue I'll be having my lunch at. Go to authentic Thai in station Street Liverpool instead or the shopping 🛒 centre.

Pretty good food. Ordered steak and kids fish and chips which was delicious. However, very slow service - waited around 45 mins - 1 hour for our food.

Modern and clean. Good TAB but was lacking staff on a Wednesday night. Gaming room is nice, tidy and updated. Food options are also good, but did shut a little too early for us. Premium beers on offer in other bar that closed at 20:30 should be on offer at all bars. Would love to enjoy White Rabbit Dark Ale whilst on the punt. Meals looked decent and prices seemed reasonable. Will definitely go back.

It's one of the best steaks I've have. It was a great experience and staff are good and friendly, beautiful interior design, great location, we have tried many different kinds of food and everyone was happy with their food, highly recommended, don't miss out the pork ribs and mushrooms.

Inside the pub you get robbed while you are playing pocker machine and there’s no one to protect the customers. Manager doesn’t even ask the customer if she’s ok and his advise is to call the police and report the incident. Firstly you should have security guards from the minute you open the doors to the customers I have never seen an inexperienced manager managing a club or a pub. He should be concern about his customers well being. My advice get another manager firstly and secondly I will be taking this matter further

I like the atmosphere inside and outside of the bistro. Nice establishment. Food was fast and scrumptious.

Have been going to the Macquarie hotel for quite a few years now. I am enjoying this hotel more these days . Good selection of beers on tap as well as Canadian Club. The food is great now with the new chef. Lots of choices and specials including rump steak with chips and salad for $15.00 including a free beer or wine. You can't get much better than that. Special is Monday to Fridays lunch and dinner. Very good experience last week went back today

Had a nice lunch with my friend in Ginger Spice Bistro.
Friendly service, tasty non-spicy Chinese food and good dining environment had been provided.
Recommend to try salt and pepper chicken wings.

Good pub for needing a beer after working late, pub shuts 4am except Sundays. Food is crakka. Just had Reno's completed.

Food was quick and very reasonably priced, Good range of beers on tap. Had a group of nearly a dozen, which wasnt usual for a late Sunday afternoon but the staff were fantastic

Delicious food. I am very impressed that we didn’t have to go very far for good quality food and large portions.
The customer service could be improved as we ordered our dishes and weren’t prompted to choose our sauce or sides (we had to ask ourselves, then staff realised that those options were available)

All the new staff are friendly enough, but the older staff were indeed Alot better! New renovations are very nice, can't wait to see the end result!

A hidden gem in the leafy courtyard of Liverpool pub serving classic burgers, sexy salads, crispy buttermilk schnitzel and good quality steaks.
The ham and bechamel croquettes and fresh handmade cinnamon doughnuts with chocolate sauce are a must.
The food is handmade from locally sourced produce - This is a fresher style of pub grub with a focus on flavour.
Grab a glass of house red at a reasonable price - when we visited we received a glass of Geoff Merrill Pimpala Shiraz.
