We stopped here for the night during our road trip up to FNQ. We stayed in the family room, it was large and clean, the bathroom was clean, the tv was large and the movies were all free. Absolutely nothing negative that can be said about the room. The checkin desk staff were very friendly and the lobby was clean, the terrace on level two was locked as night staff forgot to unlock it, the room service for dinner was average but the friendly staff and clean room made up for the tasteless dinner. Have not used any hotel facilities or the breakfast, might on our return trip.

We stayed at Mantra Gladstone on Christmas Eve and the check in and check out customer service was impressive. Staff are well trained and very pleasant. The rooms need to be updated however Coffee machine in the room was handy. I recommend this hotel mainly because of the customer service we received. The housekeepers greeted us happily in the morning, I think happy staff is a sign of great management and a better experience for the guest.

We needed an overnight stop &, having stayed at the Mantra Gladstone before, it was an obvious choice as we always enjoy out time there. This time we got an upgrade, which was very much appreciated. The staff are always friendly and courteous & the meals at Encore are amazing value, particularly as Accor Plus members

We had an absolutely wonderful time. We are a family of 9 and find it very difficult to find places to stay that are accommodating to our number. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. The rooms were excellent and the buffet was awesome. The stay at Mantra was the highlight of the trip for some of our kids. We will be back again in the future. Thank you.

This was my first trip to Gladstone (business trip). I was pleasantly surprised by the Mantra. I would stay here again. It was modern, with large, clean and spacious rooms. Bed and pillows were comfortable, with good water pressure, pleasant toiletries, and nice weighty towels. Quiet neighbourhood. The location feels very out-of-town / in the suburbs. It's not an inviting area to walk around, or to leave the complex on-foot after dark. You would want to have a car. I don't think there's any room service (there was no booklet in the room anyway), and the in-house restaurant is a buffet only. I didn't eat there, but it looked like a decent quality buffet. Note, there are pokies in the open-plan lobby.

The rooms here and the hotel are average, clean and comfortable, staff were okay. What really let's the place down is the included breakfast in the accompanying sports club. The breakfast was overcooked, dry and tasteless. Looked like the food was very old. No one in the restaurant, this is probably why. Shannon on reception should be washing dishes it the back not serving customers. Oh and after all that if you want real coffee (they only have instant in the "restaurant") you haven't to pay extra to have Shannon make it. So overall, I'll probably just find somehow else to stay whilst in Gladstone.

The Mantra was very welcoming with clean functional rooms and a pleasant dining and lounge experience. The staff at the front desk were terrific and which out of their way to assist with every request. The new cafe is well positioned with a good menu and will evolve positively once staff gain experience.

The hotel itself was very nice as were the receptionist’s. The lady serving at the coffee shop however was extremely rude to say the least.

The best value for money hotel with great staff on the front desk. The back office must also be efficient as the rooms and amenities were in great shape. A full Gymnasium and good restaurant adds to the experience. I couldn’t have much in food as not many vegetarian options were available but the menu was good with specials. Stay was overall pleasant and look forward to staying there again.

Stayed at the hotel for a week. It's undergoing some renovations and constructions currently. If you do not wish to be woken up at 8 am everyday by drilling and hammering, then this is not the place and time for you. The works ever present during office hours. When booking make sure that you ask if construction works are still going on.

Spur of the moment Booking.. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and more. Special night for us and we ordered room service, and in no time we were enjoying without doubt the best meals we had ever had in a hotel, the salmon was simply fantastic. Room was spacious and very clean, TV was huge with plenty of movies to choose from. Bed was ultra comfortable. Thank you staff and management for a wonderful night.

Nice place to stop on a road trip. Under renovations, hopefully they'll put a nice bar in as it's currently just the usual pokies arena. We'll priced. Only issue was my room smelt considerably of mold, as if left wet for a period. I thought I'd get used to it, but really strong. Not sure if it was just my room. Nice to have a room with a stocked minibar. Mold aside, would stay again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Mantra was exceptional! For nearly four nights, my group of Six people enjoyed the convenience of its central location, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. The accommodation was spacious enough for all of us, and the amenities provided made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Mantra to anyone looking for a centrally located place to stay with a group. It's definitely worth every star!

Mantra Gladstone is most definitely the place to stay. Staff are irresistibly charming and funny. We frequent the venue not only for accommodation but for dinner and drinks also. Everything in one place. Our rooms are always clean and fresh. The quietness of the hallways makes it easy to relax. Safe and secure car prking. And accommodates for larger vehicles. This is our favourite venue in Gladstone. 5 star 🌟

Just a shout out to the crew who worked 29/03/2024 (Good Friday Public Holiday). You were busy with a skeleton crew and did a fantastic job!||Especially Fiona at the front desk who went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed over lunch, the one chef who was on that day that made a delicious dinner and carbonara for me for lunch, and, apologies for not getting your name, the person who served me during dinner, not your usual spot, but you were brilliant.||Thank you so much!

I was pleasantly surprised! We booked for a 3 day visit and were glad we did. The staff are super pleasant and extremely friendly. The bed was great & they have the best towels! Everything is very clean, with the cleaners not missing a thing... I love staying somewhere there is no mouldy grout in the showers. The restaurants were really nice as well. We had buffet breakfast which had great variety, and went back for buffet lunch the next day. I liked the variety and everything looked freshly made and was hot. The lamb shanks were so tender. We also went to Pacino's for dinner. It's not fancy, but it was tasty and well cooked. The handmade ravioli was cooked superbly. If we had to go to Gladstone again, we would definatley book a room at the Mecure.

I was charged for three rooms instead of one, because I had not been able to find confirmation of my first booking of two rooms (a colleague had to cancel) so booked another room before arrival. The initial two rooms were not mentioned or queried upon my check-in; it was not until after I checked out that the woman on reception informed me that I would be charged for two "no show" rooms. This added insult to injury as my day in the room (trying to work) was an almost intolerable endurance of loud jack-hammering for some kind of renovation work.

I recently stayed in this hotel with my family. Family room size was good. Neat and clean. Comfortable beds. There was no kitchen but there was a minibar. One small thing which we noticed was that there was no complimentary bottled water or cookies in the room which a hotel of this stature generally offer. This hotel has covered parking which was great. Overall our stay was great and we will recommend this hotel for families.

Had a 3 night stay at Mantra Gladstone for a rugby league carnival. Was super impressed. Would happily stay again and will recommend to others. Room was great size and "roomy" for my family of 4. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for luggage and people. Everything was beautifully presented and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet.

Good overall facilities, location and friendly service. Restaurant facility was good, and we had several meals there, both breakfast and evening dinner. A bit better wine list would be good. Will be good to see the renovations and extensions finished.

Fine for an overnight stay. A bit far from attractions for any longer. Lift was out of order when we stayed, but on first floor so no problems. Good food and service in restaurant. One of us has dietry issues, an the chef came out specially and advised, and even produced a special suitable desert. We then stayed again a week later. Lift still out of action. One of our rooms had to be changed because of the smell of damp. The food at dinner was terrible. We tried a range of dishes rom the buffet, and none was accaptable. Perhaps it was because it was Sunday. What a disappointment afer the previous week.

Everything was lovely EXCEPT when we had to argue with 2 lots of hierarchy to partake of our breakfast in our 2nd room with our booked bed and breakfast rate. Very poor form. Never had this happen at any other ACCOR property. For the sake of a few bux you have sufficiently annoyed me to not return. |Room was lovely. Please train staff better.

A very convenient location for us as we needed to be close to Barney Point. The Hotel is built at a Sports Field and the rooms with a balcony overlooks the sporting fields. There is currently upgrades happening at the hotel but this is not impacting the service or current rooms. The services club is beautiful with a nice big open area to relax in and have a drink. We ate at the buffet and it was great.
