What a great place! Best location, great views. Amazing staff, really good food and icy cold beers! Great wine list What! What more can you say! You have to try this place, you will not be disappointed!!

We have stopped here a few times in the few days on the island and everytime the service and quality of food and drink has been exceptional.
They have a great selection of drinks and food available and the ability to order from your table makes life so much easier.
The fries are exceptional we have been back twice specifically to have them and suspect we will be back again before we leave the Island.
Only downside in May is it can be a little chilly sitting outside and the birds are very brazen so be aware you may have to fight them off. Also if it is busy they can runout of seating.

This place serves beers and regular tavern style food. We were a big party and got pasta, prawns, burger bruschetta and garlic bread. Pasta was partially cold, burger was huge but the patty wasn’t anything exceptional. Prawns was the best dish.
Does not need reservation and does tend to get crowded. You would also have to hunt down a table. Also, not stroller friendly and it’s a lot of steps to carry the stroller up.

This place is fine. It’s basically just a big airy pub that serves basic simple meals quickly with a minimum of fuss and maximum informality. We had a Hawaiian Parma and a Greek salad. Both were large and hearty. Good drinks are easy to buy here too. Prices were fine, the service was lovely. This is a good casual eating option on the island

The pub is a good option if you can’t secure a restaurant booking as this is walk in only. But get there early, for it’s very busy. Good was ok, parmigiana was excellent but for 36, the barrumundi was not all sufficient. It was so small it wouldn’t have been enough food for my 2 year old

The Marina Tavern has excellent staff. The menu is standard pub grub at a reasonable price for Hamilton Island. Don't expect anything amazing.
Come for an easy meal but stay for an appearance of the Stone Curlew.

Stopped in for a drink, which is the same selection as the rest of Hamilton Island. Great views over the marina. Quite a few TVs around for watching sports. I can imagine this place getting really busy during peak periods.

Standard bistro type food. Good place to go if you haven't got anywhere else booked and want some slight variety on Hamilton Island.
Though the steaks were overcooked to well done for the adult main, and under cooked to medium at best for the kids meal steak.

Perfect to chill with a beer while waiting for the ferries or if you are looking for good pub food, or both! Nice and tidy and with friendly staff! Food is decent with lots of different options! Was surprise with the different varieties of chicken parmi you could have!
Careful with the birds.. it’s the awful part of the experience if you’re sitting outside!

Ordered the Barramundi, chips and salad - the fish was divine, good portion, meaty and super soft. Great lemon, lime and bitters too, probably the best on the island as other places just didn’t have the right mix. Order via QR code for quickest service. Service was good but not great, everyone looked tired and confused. But no complaints!

Nice pub for couple drinks and food. Birds at the Marina Tavern are very very nasty if you are sitting with the food as they don’t get scared easily and even take the food from the plate if you are sitting on the table. Would recommend sitting inside if eating a proper meal.

Nice place to eat and have a couple of drinks. The service was very good and the food was good and at a very reasonable price. Both times I ate there it was busy and had a good atmosphere.

Multi-level tavern with a bar and restaurant. The wait staff are prompt and the food came out mich much earlier than we anticipated. Great place for lunch and hanging out with the family.

Most people in our party seemed to enjoy their meals. I had the spaghetti Alfredo. I wasn't fond of it due to the oiliness and dry chicken. Couldn't finish my dish due to the unsatisfactory taste. But, as I said, others seem to enjoy their meals. The place is quite busy from 5 onwards it seems, so expect to wait a while for meals normally, like at least 30 minutes. Staff appeared friendly though. Going to give this place 3/5 due to my dish being unsatisfactory. Others may give it 4/5. So really should be 3.5.

Just your standard pub feed but with an amazing view. Portions are large but so is the bill. Keep an eye out for the birds that try to steal your chips!

Have spent many an evening here. The food is typical pub food, with decent sized servings and fair pricing. Good selection of drinks too, and quite a bit of seating. A good place to sit and enjoy the marina.

Have been here several times, on a previous trip in 2021 and during my Hammo visit last week. Great location with delicious food, cold beer and an amazing views over the marina. The staff is friendly and helpful and make this a great spot for a late afternoon or dinner session after a busy day of fun on the island.

Great spot with views over the marina. The deck is a nice chilled out spot to enjoy a few drinks and a meal. You have to keep an eye out for the crows which will try to eat off the plate with you.

Great place for drinks and food. The team was efficient and friendly. Both bar and food service were quick. The views from the balconies were fantastic. The tavern was two levels both with a large balcony. There was ample parking for the buggies as well. Food was fantastic.

Great location with a view of the harbour and township, tasty food, you can eat & drink from the balcony over looking the harbour while enjoying the wide selection food beverages and good staff service

Good atmosphere and views. The food was pretty average pub fare. Overall, it was ok for dinner. I would have rated it higher if I came just for drinks and nibbles.

Fairly reasonable pub food that came out quickly after ordering it. The menu selection is good with meals from schnitzels to fish and chips with many things in between. Serving size was good to but could have had bigger serves of meat in the meals. Prices are as to be expected on an island where the tourist dollar pays for everything.

Excellent food and service. A little bit crowded when we were so food took a little bit to serve. However they informed us beforehand. Wait was worth it.
Prices were reasonable considering where you are.
We ordered meaty nachos, Chicken parmi, Angus burger and chicken salad and they were all delicious.
Regularly those 5 dishes will cost around $120 but we got it included in a voucher from Whitsundays Cruise.

Eating at the Tavern was such a disappointment. Fabulous location and the staff were really friendly. Icy cold beer and a thirst quenching spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️margarita ( be warned)
The food however was almost inedible. Hubby had parmi - worst he’s ever had. I had the burger. The Pattie had been grilled weeks ago I’m sure and then reheated. It was so dry and smelt weird. Please change the oil in your fryer - chips had that old oil taste. So disappointed.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere overlooking the marina. Staff are very friendly and happy to talk. The place was packed and the kitchen got our food out pretty quick. The meals were delicious and really couldn’t fault for pub food. All fairly priced for the island. Overall, great time and will come back for another feed.

decent food and friendly staff. reasonably priced beer and drinks. steaks were well cooked, love it!
i visited here most of the time during my stay on the island. birds came around ask for food please don’t feed them.
other places are easily fully booked, so here is a good choice for a casual dining.
