Wow it sure is an old (very old) club but not a bad club. For Saturday lunch I wld have expected some lunch specials and live music but that wasn't the case. In new to the area so looking for some great pubs in the Maryborough area but to date I've been unsuccessful.

Was very disappointed as the menu is all Chinese. What happened to the wonderful pub meals we used to get. Fried rice is extremely bland and dry. Don’t know if this is an ongoing menu but seems to be. Bring back the food you are known for.

Was there for a function food was lovely didnt have to wait long staff was happy and friendly. Great night.

Waited 50 minutes for our meals . ( A medium rare steak and grilled salmon)Ended up getting a refund and leaving because we had to be somewhere else. They seemed to be catering to the oldies and regulars. Won't go there again.

Very friendly. Played bingo, everyone helpful. Had a fabulous lunch. Very enjoyable day

Very disappointing experience. The bar staff were fantastic, the wheels fell off when trying to order some food. Not only were we told at every attempt to order something “nah mate, we don’t have any”, the attitude of the young man taking our orders was appalling. I guess the almost empty dining area should have been an indicator.

Unfortunately our meal was not received inside the hour we had available before attending a function but the staff were very good about giving us a refund.

This pub is full of individuality as far as pubs in this area are concerned, it displays a collection of sport bar memorabilia, like pubs once were once known for.
And the main support pillars are still unprocessed tree trunks from Fraser Island.
Has a qld pub feel when you walk in and drinks are well priced too.

This is a reasonable sports club located on the outskirts of Maryborough and provides well priced meals that are well prepared. Don't expect to find the bells and whistles that you normally associate with other clubs because you won't find any. However, the service is excellent and the live entertainment is great as well.

The kitchen had a bad run in July due to poor staffing. The food was terrible. I'm glad to say that I ate there recently and their game has lifted. The food was great again and beer is good value and even better during happy hour.

Staff were friendly, but that was the only positive. Limited menu of expensive and not very nice pub grub. Seating was on long tables in a barn like building which did not add to the experience.

Sadly this place has really gone downhill in a huge way. The food today at lunch was horrid. It actually tasted like it was reheated, the rice was masked with soy sauce which is not right as it should not be this colour. The honey chicken was like a leather boot. I have given this place a third go since they changed their menu to Chinese. Sorry guys just change your chefs, the place was empty and that should ring alarm bells. This was our favourite place previously, we are so sad now.😥😥

Recently went to see Rick Price play at this sports club was a great show. Staff were very friendly, food was amazing didn't try the Chinese menu got the old pub classics. Drinks were reasonably priced the only problem i could comment on was that one particular security guard has let the power go to her head apart from that a great night out.

Never had a bad meal here. Absolutely delicious, super welcoming staff, very well priced. They even have a free bus. 10/10 best pub feed I have had in all of wide bay.

Lovely attentive staff, I was a bit unwell, they were helpful and friendly. The food was very good too, we will be back again soon!!!!

I just wanted to post my experience tonight at the Maryborough sports club absolutely amazing food and entertainment. The best steak I’ve had in 4 years since the last time I was here. I also wanted to say a special mention to the young lad who bought me my food and went out of his way to make sure our table was comfortable and fulfilled with out needs he was very polite and well trained. Thanks Russell for your great service table 22 really appreciated you tonight and a big thank you to the sporties for bringing back this awesome club. Well done guys.

I heard that Nosh has taken over the restaurant lease, so I went there tonight with good expectations. I was hugely underwhelmed and disappointed. I ordered chicken nachos and got chicken nachos except finding a piece of chicken was akin to finding the proverbial needle in the hay stack. Corn chips were overcooked to the point of burnt. Wife had crumbed flathead and got crumbed fish (3 average pieces). Prices have hiked and its simply not worth the money. Sorry Maryborough Sports Club, we won't be back to eat there, Nosh has taking you backwards, not forwards.

Great 'hot rock' steak. Had meals on the Special board that come out looking very nice and generous serving sizes. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and happy staff.

Good place to play Bingo and have a reasonably cheap meal. The chef definitely knows how to cook.
The only negative was that I noticed a micro aggression from an old white fellow towards a group of indigenous people there, who hadn't done anything wrong. He flicked some paper in their direction. They didn't make an issue of it but I noticed and thought it was uncalled for and disappointing to see. Hopefully was just a once-off thing and not a reflection on racism in the area. I can't blame the venue for that guys behaviour.
Other than that, the service is great, the staff are friendly — and the bingo was enjoyed.

Friendly staff. Good food well presented and well priced. Comprehensive menu range. Only experienced lunch but now we plan to return for an evening meal when the raffles are on. We'll be back!!

Best fish and chips in a long time 😋 awesome 😎 food 🥝 fantastic service was clean neat and tidy, great atmosphere quiet place lot's of table's. I couldn't find Salt and pepper 🌶️ or sauces didn't look 🤮 to hard, but plenty of easy parking. Will be planning on going again. Tony 🤠 from Tassie Cheers 🎉🥂

Awesome little club, nothing OTT. Which is the appeal of the place! Nothing big, excellent pricing, wonderful meals, value packed menu.
Wheelchair accessible, pick up service! Just all round a lovely little club. There is a word that best describes the place, it escapes me ATM.
Has my custom for the future.

A great place to catch up with friends. Good meals at good prices. Normally great bands on as well as Maryborough has a lot of local talent.
