Unfussy hotel with casual rooms, suites & apartments, plus a bistro, a sports bar & a liquor store. In a contemporary building and an annex, this unfussy hotel in the Mawson Lakes Business District is 15 km from Adelaide Central Business District. Informal rooms come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screens, plus minibars, and tea and coffeemaking facilities; some offer whirlpool baths and/or balconies. We were staying in an annex located a couple of hundred metres away from the main hotel, which would have been useful to know before we dragged our bags from the car park (noting there's no parking outside reception). The annex has stairs you have to take your bags up so if you need a lift this isn't the place for you

We were serve by Tanisha. She was pleasant, helpful and a very cheery “can do”. Despite the queue for meals, she was calm , polite and made me feel like a personal quest. Keep this young lady . She’s great

We stayed here for a couple weeks with 2 kids while we were looking for a house. It was perfect. We got one of the two bedroom central apartments so the kids had their own beds and bedroom. We had enough space for all of us. We had a second floor apartment and it even had a baby gate if needed. A couple downsides were we had a shower but no bath tub for the kids and the Internet was limited to 4 devices at a time (we didn't ask about this so not sure if they had another option). Having the Woolies and restaurants walkable was super convenient. The staff were lovely!

We had a lovely lunch here today and the staff were great. Shelly was our server and she was friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly, and it was fresh and hot and tastes great. My hubby had the seniors meal deal which was great value. We will definitely be back.

We had a family dinner there. My daughter has food allergies so we ordered steamed vegetables. When they came to the table they had butter all over them. Waiter was very understanding. We did get plain ones in the end but I think they could be more sensitive to people's food requirements. Other than that the food was very nice.

Very impressed with the bar staff, especially the staff member with the sharpei artwork. She was very efficient.
Also thankyou Robert for ensuring the large order of meals were served quickly.

This place does not even deserve one star but 0 isn’t an option they bought me the wrong cocktail ok mistakes happen no biggie but when they have me the correct one it was too strong to even take a few sips !! , then we were a table of 10 and everyone’s food came out but my daughters and another’s adults meal after awhile we told them and they admitted that they completely forgotten my daughters meal but then to the adult they tried to say she never ordered it, they were quite defensive saying that only 5 schnitzels were ordered ( there was four on the table the whole thing was very odd ) so yes 5 ordered and 4 had come out of I am unsure of why they would assume my friend was lying about ordering her meal when they had not got one thing right previously 😅 by the time my daughter (11) and friends meals came out everyone else was finished and plates cleared and only one staff member named Robbie apologised the rest tried to make us feel like they were bending over backwards for us to have correct meals we ordered ! Will never be back also the menu has changed and is mostly seafood , the table behind us also had these similar issues going on absolutely disgusting just money grabbers

The room was clean and comfortable. Views were nothing to boast about. The food was amazing (calamari schnitzel) was a 1st, but I would return for another.

Staff and service are excellent. Friendly smiling staff. Krystal was very helpful. Food was excellent and fast. Had the chicken burger you can tell chicken was freshly crumbed. Plus the herbs in ot made it so moreish. Excellent wine list with reasonable prices. Restaurant is really welcoming and family friendly (little packs for kids) Accommodation very clean, beds comfy. Carpet is old in room but rest recently renoed. Would highly recommend accommodation and bistro

Reception is really polite and happy to help. Room service for food is great and makes it easy to just relax after a long trip. Under shelter parking is high enough to fit in work utes 3m clearance. Rooms are very tidy and comfortable.

Recent visit with family, sat in a comfortable booth. Great selection on menu, two of us ordered a special, Chicken Corden Bleu with sun-dried tomatoes & spinach, served with a garlic sauce with mash & green beans, it was delicious! 😋
One issue which I never come across in my travels ever?? One meal was requested to have chips & salad instead of the mash & beans. That’s normal, usually a choice of chips, salad or veg! Could not believe they then charged an additional $7 as an add on!
$4 for chips & $3 for side salad!! You are kidding? One meal then cost $37!! Which is just ridiculous! Mentioned to manager, whom advised that’s just the add on price?! Where was the refund received for the mash & green beans not served then? Just an additional charge to change to chips & salad! This will certainly turn people away if your establishment is going to continue to overcharge, so unfair in these difficult financial times, especially for your local customers! Such bad business practice!!
People will turn away in droves if they are being ripped off!

My Husband and I come for dinner tonight and we were seated at booth 203 .my Husband order our food and drinks while I waited at our both. He put my glass of coke infront of me where I knocked it over within 2 minutes of it being within my reach. It went with a loud crash. I suffer with MS and I struggle at times. Krystal seems how embarrassed I was at was straight over reassuring me that it was all good and promptly cleaned our talking, seat, floor and last but not least ME! She is a wonderful young lady. I really hope you appreciate her as a worker. She showed me how much empathy she has for people she has only just met. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to show Krystal how much dignity I kept due to her kind reassuring words

Mawson lakes hotel functions are amazing til you come to the dining room where you have bearded men without hair and beard nets touching food with hands and no gloves over cooked food

Loved this roomy apartment with everything we needed for a week’s visit to Adelaide.|Staff are friendly and helpful.|Apartment is located right in the Hub of Mawson Lakes. No need to drive to the shops to get supplies.|Large balcony with sliding doors suits us.|Self contained Kitchen and our own Washing Machine and Dryer.|Very clean facility.|We would re- visit this place and recommend to other travellers.

Last 5 weeks - work has booked me here. Great accommodation. Can't fault it at all.
Even stayed in their "studio apartments" which is 150m down the road.
Will certainly let my work know - as desired place for other work ppl to stay in coming months.

I've been here many times before my bills are usually $100 to $300 . I am so dissatisfied with the time it took to get the meal over 1 hr. It's not good enough the place wasn't packed I won't be coming again for a while if at all poor show

I stay here when I come to Adelaide to visit my family. I've been staying a couple of times a year for the last 15 years since I moved interstate. I've always enjoyed the accommodation and room service. I've enjoyed many a drink or cocktail with some girlfriends downstairs, and have open had dinner in the bistro. The ONE time it raised a concern with my room they resolved it immediately. I've never had any issues or concerns when staying here - other than the pokies smokers who stand right outside the door to the carpark instead of in the allocated 'smokers garden' but that's not the hotel, that's the poor manners of those patrons.
Recently I held an event in the function rooms and have to say the staff, their event manager in particular, could not have made things easier. He was supportive, offered great suggestions, very friendly and went out of his way to make our event memorable for all the right reasons.
I've loved this place for years, even before I moved. Yeah, businesses don't get it right 100% of the time, but I'll keep on coming back here for meals, cocktails, meet-ups, and accommodation. It's the best place this side of the city by far for accommodation.

I have all my staff that fly in from interstate stay here and they love it.
My family and I recently started dining here also.
Meals are good and come with nice fresh salad. So tired of going for a meal and paying big money for a steak and receiving a salad with a piece of tomato and a piece of cucumber. The salad here us great Friendly staff.
Great Pub meals.

I had a wonderful experience at Mawson Lake Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a nice view of the lake. The staff were welcoming and made check-in/out easy. The location was convenient for exploring the area, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to others looking for a nice hotel in the area.

I came here with my family last weekend and had a great experience. The food was good decent pub food, and all the staff were helpful & friendly. Thank you to Jordis, Robbi, Charli, Jack & Monique for the excellent & welcoming service.

Hotel room is clean and spacious. Meals are huge and great value for money. Drinks menu is vast. Aleshia was a very helpful and willing hostess. We’d definitely come back here again.

Had dinner here. It was quite noisy in the main dining area so we sat in one of the booths which was a bit quieter. The food was tasty and generous serves.

Great place for a dinner or lunch. Good sized meals, which are delicious, prices are standard pub prices.
Has good function rooks for parties, work dos or training sessions etc.

Great Friendly staff, service is ok, food and drinks menu has good variety of options.
Bar and pokies area kept clean as was rest rooms during service.
Security presence on premises was discreet and professional

First time being in Adelaide after moving from overseas and was staying at here for a couple weeks. Awesome service from the staff especially in the mornings at breakfast. A staff member that stands out is Tanesha, always friendly, helpful and greets everyone with a smile.

Clean and bright and the dining room is quite large. Had the lunch menu which costs $18.00 which is a good price and a good selections of meals. Had the pork ribs roast a bit disappointed bit dry but otherwise the rest of the meal was good.

Beds very hard. Has fold out bed but no good for full adult especially if you have a disabled son who is a man which is why luckily we put him into respite.
Shower leaks out onto bathroom floor in our room 19 and my mother in laws room 35 she nearly fell over in the wet floor she's elderly! Staffff are fantastic in the bar and restaurant and room attendants. Would never go to Mawson Lakes again even watched 6 rats go into the lake very off putting.

A+ young Chloe welcomed us in, walked us to our table and was very welcoming! $3 tip as it says on the table and should be more. As I said Chloe, didn't mean to freak you out but great service girl!
The food was amazing, chicken schnitzels all round, was a little more but very well worth it!
