What a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a cold beer, Chloe is amazing, she has such a great bubbly personality and really makes everyone feel welcome. She definitely goes over and beyond

We should be able to have our orders taken rather than having to just order online. Also if you are taking away staff from ordering why are we having to pay a fee to order our own meal & then being asked if we want to leave a tip? What are we tipping no service.
The staff were not friendly and couldn’t even smile when bringing meals or drinks to the table.
Food was underwhelming. Maple pork belly was dry as anything with no flavour at all.
Definitely won’t be back.

We had a nice lunch of Roast Pork and a senior's Crumbed Barra with chips and salad.
The food was yummy and it was nice and hot.
The staff here are very friendly and the service was great.
The bistro is quite large and well set out and the atmosphere is relaxed

the staff were amazing to us for my daughters 16th birthday. Leanne made sure to look after all our requests . very accommodating and friendly. Happy to return for future meals

The Melbourne was a great experience. Meals were prompt and kids play area was lovely and tidy. The children's colouring packs were a bonus. Leanne our waitress was outstanding and so polite. We will come back just for her!!

The food was some of the best I have eaten in bundaberg. Would recommend this hotel for a great feed, good service and fast as well

Steak with prawn topper was really good.
Carbonara was a bit too rich, less sauce would be better. Fettuccine was a bit overcooked.
All staff were lovely.
Leanne was very nice.

Staff were so friendly and helpful on a very busy pre-Christmas day. Great food - fettuccine carbonara with garlic prawns -yum!!

Pub style menu, ordering via QR code only. Varied menu at fair price point.
Bistro style seating, open plan including attached playroom.
Friendly bar staff.
Food was served in reasonable timeframe, some delicious offerings, some average, good portion sizes.
We would visit again. Venu is most suitable for families with children.

Plenty of car parking off street. Clean , neat & tidy inside. Friendly and helpful staff. Order drink & tucker from table with bar code scan. Too easy. Food has plenty of flavour and very filling. Highly recommended

Ordered 3 share plates and had it as a main for 2 people. Was fantastic. Will do that again.

I would absolutely consider removing the signs at the front off the door saying "we don't live in tents" this comes across very harsh when alot of Bundy residents/family's are living in tents due to the housing shortage.
Service was good, food was good as well.

I ordered a to go meal 08/05/24. They omitted my ribs that was supposed to be on the rump. Called the bistro to inform them. No apologies offered. I talked about how unfair it was to have me drive back to pick up my order. The response was "do you still want us to prepare it? Like i have not paid for it already.
Went to pick up , all i had was the blandest "here you go"
Safe to say the service deserves zero stars

Greay Prawn and Avocado Pizza, followed by "Pink Champagne Mousse"desert (proceeds to Breast Cancer).

Great little pub in the heart of Bundy City!! We were welcomed by staff immediately upon arriving into the bistro which is a nice change. Ordering our drinks & meals was very easy as you have the option to order online from your table or over the counter. Our meals were generous in size, cooked and presented beautifully and great value for money!! We would highly recommend The Melbourne Hotel to anyone looking for a great night out!!

Great for families of small kids, I guess! We did not enjoy the screaming children and there was no option to get away from the noise.
There's a playground right at the end of the dinning area

Enjoyed the lunch. Big serves and had great entertainment with Tzu boxing. The atmosphere - enjoyable. For 4 very reasonable. Don't forget the desert too.

Each Restaurant makes at least 5 mistakes one one evening. All 5 happened to us. But staff was good, they followed up on problems (most unforeseen) and offered free dessert. But we were too full from their yummy food to accept.
Thank you for a great dinner!

Booked a table of 10 for a birthday celebration. Was a pretty underwhelming experience. Bistro furniture in poor condition with chairs and tables unstable. Although all the orders came out together, had to request a refund on the pasta as it seemed reheated in a microwave where the sauce spilt and bowl was filled with oil. My dad’s Seniors steak was full of gristle. The bar was understaffed and the drinks order took 1/2 hour to come out only after requesting an update twice from staff and they seemed to have forgotten the order. Only gave an extra star as hubby enjoyed his meal.
Restaurant was only half full. Would hate to see what they would be like with a full house.

Absolutely awesome food, I had the oven cooked cod, one of the best meals I’ve eaten. Leanne kept us hydrated with her beautiful personality, 5 star 👍
