What a magnificent facility. Never been to the trotts before, I didn't realise how well organised, well executed and how well run the sport is. And it is quite exciting. Great food and drinks on offer and it seems there's even lovely accommodation if required.

We used Melton Entertainment Park for our annual end of year corporate function. This has been the second year in the row. The event went down without a hitch, from the booking, to event proposal package, menu selection, quote, venue inspection and final arrangements. The venue was perfectly located for our needs, easy parking, easy access. Our very large group was given access to an outside terrace joining our banquet room and we had a separate private bar. Festive music was provide as well as a microphone for a few speeches. The food was honestly outstanding, super delicious, all the meats, (roast beef, slow braised lamb, grilled chicken) were tender, all the sauces tasty, vegetables beautifully prepared and the desserts sensational. Staff were extremely polite and very helpful. Security were quiet, but present and they did their job. Staff understood our requirement to adhere to the predetermined finishing time of the function and were very professional to ensure this was done. We cannot fault this venue and believe you will not find a better host for large corporate functions in Melbourne's far western suburbs. - Thank you

We recently held our inaugural Pasifika grassroots fashion showcase Victoria Hibiscus Festival in both the Legends rooms hosting 500 people with external island catering. The planning event management from the very start was exceptional with special mention to Kahli Magee (Functions, Events & Race Night Dining Manager) for handling and collaborating the event with us from start to finish. The layout of the room for the show on the night was beautiful and well organised. The venue was able to suggest suitable and affordable vendors for lighting and staging etc for the fashion show case which made our job easier. Guests who stayed at the venue overnight enjoyed the rooms and the guest experience. Security, Kitchen, Bar and overall management on the night from the venue was also commendable. Highly recommend for future events.

We held a function here in one of their function rooms a couple of months ago. I was pretty disappointed and won’t be returning for future events. It was an absolute mess to organise everything! We received a quote with everything required plus planned everything out ready to go about two months prior to the function all via email. that part was a breeze and Tamara was lovely to deal with! Then a week before the function (maybe less) we were contacted by someone else to go through the ENTIRE event plans again and pricing. Everything was organised in the same email chain in which they were responding to so had all the answers there it was just pure laziness. We were then charged more than quoted with additional charges never mentioned previously in our quote. We had 2 kids meals and told them to cancel one, they cancelled the incorrect meal. They added a bartenders fee never originally quoted. They told us it was 20 people minimum yet the quote states $2000 minimum spend. There are a choice of salad options which she forgot to ask what we wanted. The desserts chosen it was now too late to order (we picked this months in advance) When we arrived for the function no one had a clue what room we were in, we were sent walking around to all their different function rooms to try figure it out for ourselves. It was actually a horrible experience and the only saving grace was the hospitality staff at the event were absolutely amazing, friendly and attentive its a shame the events coordinator ruined it. When all of this was brought up especially the pricing part the response was pretty much either cancel the event or pay the price… absolutely appalling.

We had a family lunch of 40 people in the bistro. The staff are excellent, very professional and helpful. The food was a high standard and served quickly especially as there were over 140 people in for Sunday lunch. Thanks for making our day so enjoyable & stress free. 👍👍

M.E.P Hosted our work social function in the Skybox, wonderfully clean, private bar, private bathrooms, wonderful food ( No-one went home hungry) and hospitality, couldn't do enough for us, will defiantly come back for another event in the future.

I want to make a complaint about the gamble rooms , I'm a little frustrated cause at morning every day some lady name heada come and play plus she reserve more the 4 machine always , is supposed she is not allowed to do it cause the rules said you just can play I one machine , on top of this the lady in charge every morning is her friend and she let hedda do what ever she wants this is unfairly

If you're organising an expo or attending an expo as a stallholder, DONT DO IT! New management will not allow you the use of their elevators as they're for "guests", so you will have to unload your heavy stock up onto the loading dock and through food preparation areas (not sure if this is follows OH&S) A woman in a wheelchair was told she couldn't use the guest elevator! Poor form Tabcorp, people paying to be part of an expo are guests! New management has definitely made this once pleasant space to hold an expo a nightmare, where people were treated as 2nd class citizens. Won't ever be attending an expo, referring Tabcorp as a venue or visiting as a customer again.

I first visited this venue in 2018 and had an underwhelming meal, which I didn't finish. I wanted to take the remainder of my meal home for my Dog and was told I couldn't, so I vowed to never return. Over five years later, my Partner wanted to have lunch here and I reluctantly agreed. It appears nothing has changed. I ordered the fish 'n' chips, which from memory was $28.00 and the fish tasted like dirt - actual dirt. I'm not sure where you source your fish, but there are fish 'n' chip shops all around the suburb that are serving far better quality seafood at a FRACTION of the price! The side of vegetables consisted of two humongous pieces of Cauliflower, two pieces of Broccoli and two slivers of Carrot - talk about underwhelming. The Chefs here clearly have NO pride in their outputs. I'm now permanently boycotting this over-priced bistro. Do yourself a favour and do the same.

Had a seafood pasta delivered, the seafood was not fresh and especially the calamari had a strong ammonia taste which made me feel sick so I had to throw the rest of the meal in the bin.

Great meal, but instead of meatballs on the parma, they put bolognese. There was nothing wrong with the flavour, just not what was expected. Beer was perfectly cold and the staff amazing.

From the moment you step into Melton Entertainment Park, you're greeted with a vibrant atmosphere that promises a day filled with joy and entertainment. Whether you're here for the thrilling harness racing or to enjoy a meal with a view, this place does not disappoint. The Popular Alm Bistro offers a dining experience like no other. Overlooking the state-of-the-art harness racing track, it provides a unique backdrop that enhances the flavors of the well-crafted menu. The food is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. From live bands to tribute shows, there's always something to keep you engaged. I had the pleasure of attending the recent music tribute show and it was an evening filled with nostalgia and great music. The energy was infectious, and the performance was top-notch. Accommodation here is modern, spacious, and tastefully furnished. It's the perfect escape for a short break, providing comfort and luxury that makes your stay memorable. Membership is a cherry on top, offering points and discounted pricing on food and beverage. It's a fantastic way to enhance your experience at the park. In conclusion, Melton Entertainment Park is a gem in Melbourne's entertainment scene. It's a place where stars play, and memories are made. Whether you're here for the races, dining, or a show, you're guaranteed to have a golden

Dinner last night was so tasty. Alisha’ was so professional in her ability to make people feel welcome . She came up to the table a number of times to check in how the meal was and whether we needed anything further - highly recommend and keep doing what you are doing.

Checked in to the Mantra, had to pay a bond for the room. The odor in the room was absolutely ghastly, it smelled like wet musty carpet, the carpet felt damp. The curtains were filthy, the cushion on the couch had God knows what on it. The air-conditioner filter was so dirty, it didn't function correctly. I have arthritis and couldn't hold the coffee cup as the handle was so tiny only one finger could grasp it, not to mention the lack of coffee, 3 sachets for 2 people. The fridge had nothing but 3 pura long life cartons. The bathroom toilet was dirty, floor tiles had mold in the grout, the hand towel/towel looked like a goat had tried them for breakfast. Breakfast was in the foyer, toast coffee etc/continental breakfast. I like to eat my breakfast in private, not in a crammed in cul-de-sac with strangers. We had meals in the restaurant/bistro, medium scotch with chips n veg, it came well done, very thin. My Salmon and salad was very overcooked and dry, the salad had two cherry tomatoes, 3 bits of Lebanese cucumber and a bucket load of the same lettuce I mowed in my lawn last week, drowned in flavourless oil. Definitely not worth the money. The view out the windows was the western highway and a carpark. When we asked to change rooms because of the odour, we were told they were fully booked and the rooms on the racetrack side are deluxe rooms and cost more! I didn't know they knew our financial situation, also the carpark was almost empty so the overnighters must've parachuted in.

An overnight stay in the hotel and an evening we're both very satisfactory. The hotel rooms a spacious and well appointed and the bistro meals arrived promptly and were great value. We'll come again.

1st time dining last Valentines Day. My husband, son and I had a very lovely time! The food was amazing! Entree were served quickly. We had to wait quite a long time for our main meals. All the staff were very apologetic and offered us free coffee, drinks, ice cream, anything we wanted. Happy to have free coffees! Then at last, the Baby Barramundi was served. By then we realized why it took so long! It was definitely worth the wait! The beef brisket, calamari and bruschetta were so amazing too! Would definitely come back! Thanks to everyone's incredible hospitality!

1 star, on a weekday or days they choose, you are not even able to place a bet on the races (refuse to turn on TAB machines) or merely collect a tab ticket for cash, even though they display TAB signes everywhere!! On the days you are able to use the TAB, they dont have enough cash on hand for you to collect the ticket. Should be renamed to the RSL, good for pokies, tap beer and a soggy parma. Very poorly managed!
