What you'd expect from a services club. Good food and nice service. Child-friendly venue and plenty of space. The schnitzel is a bit small - would be unsatisfied with it on its own. Had to go with 3 meals for 2 people.

What a refreshing positive change to this club, we visited this club on Thursday night 12/10/23 for dinner (2 pizzas for the price of 1 ) and we added a garden salad extra $8 and it was huge and actually had salad ingredients rather than just lettuce what a pleasant surprise , the young lady at the cashier who took our order was very pleasant and attentive , on arrival of our pizzas , (quite promptly I might add ) we were quite surprised to see large pizzas not babies and a huge salad the pizzas were well cooked and had uniquely tasty bases, 10/ 10 food, 10/10 pricing ,10/10 new venue, only a small criticism the venue is very kid friendly and has variouskid features all in different cnrs of the venue ( rather than all in one are) this led to excited very nosiy kids running nosily from play area to play area and ice cream bar and no matter were we sat we could not escape the screaming (why do parents allow kids to dream at the top of their voices today, when it is not an emergency???) suggest a bit of relocation or segregations as older folk can relax and eat and talk and maybe enjoy a dessert , coffee or a drink or two instead of eating and bolting to escape the noise ( we are not anti kids but parents don't care or discipline kids anymore and just let them run riot ) a few tactful message signs to keep kids in check , loved the place we will visit and eat there again

We visited the club Monday 3/7/23. we had a few drinks @ played the machines for about 2 hours. we decided to have lunch before driving home & went to the dining room, with out doubt it was the worst meal we had ever been served & the service was no better, I ordered a seafood paster and my wife had a roast pork dinner, the paster was totally uneatable, it was served up in soup plate every thing in the paster was uneatable, my wifes meal was cold, when the meals were finally delivered they were brought to our table, no eating utensils when I asked the girl she replied : I have nothing better to do, walked away then came back and threw 2 knives A forts on the table. as I said we will never have a meal at the Mex again & will have to consider if we renew our membership. hope this helps other people in the future.

Went for dinner one night, lots of different menus which was a little confusing. I was told raffle tickets could be bought at any counter, queued for 15 minutes to be told wrong counter? Food was quick, I did enjoy however the standout was the greens tossed with garlic, ginger and chilli. Delicious

The Mex Club is Fantastic well set up & the staff are terrific. The food was well prepared & quick & especially delicious. Well done Mex Club Mayfield. We were there to celebrate Father's/ Papa Day with family

The club has changed a lot. I haven't been there for more than a decade. I'm looking forward to the entertainment. I've been attending the Hanbury 58 multi variety restaurant and the food, and the staff, are wonderful

Pizzas was so delicious 😋 yummy. Staff are lovely friendly & excellent on their jobs. Club are lovely clean👌

Our first time at the club, we ordered a pizza, the service was ordinary, the pizza was expensive and the worst we’ve ever had. We won’t be back

Nice little club, easy parking. The restaurant has a good menu including pizzas however we settled for the $15 lunch specials basic but good, make sure you order first as you go a$5 drink voucher

My schnitzel was good and well sized, my friends roast portion was very stingy for the price. Reasonable atmosphere and nice service, but grumpy on the front sign in

My mum and I had dinner tonight, haven't been for years. The new eatery was lovely. Our food was really nice. We both really enjoyed.
Christy was the server, and she was absolutely fabulous. She was helpful, friendly and a asset to the company. A Pay rise is needed. 😃.
Definitely will return.

Lovely staff , food wasn’t amazing , finished meals sat at the table for over an hour and the place
Was definitely not busy . Not even a third full . Could be an awesome restaurant

I went there for poker event. The food was great and the environment is friendly. Perfect venue for family and friends to meet and dine or enjoy play pokies and poker.

I’ve been here twice during the day now with an aim to entertain my kids with friends and have a coffee/food. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
I am hoping the club and cafe can make some simple changes to make it more family friendly during the day as it has the potential to be a hot spot for parents entertaining young kids, especially on a wet day.
We came here twice both on a rainy day (great to let the kids out and play in the equipment indoors)
The cafe is advertised as “always open” was closed (club opens at 10) When the cafe did open at 11 they were inundated with orders (a sign the cafe should open when the club does).
They do not have “family friendly” items available at the cafe. Only coffee and hot chocolate. That’s it. Very disappointing. I asked for a hot chocolate just cooled down for my 2 and 4 year old (ie add some extra milk) but was told they cannot. Would like to see variety and simple child friendly items such as babychino’s and milkshakes. The cake counter was empty. Lucky we had our own food and drink!
Lunch specials were advertised but for members only. One item was available to non members (a burger). There is no member and non member pricing like other clubs for the other items. Food is only available to members. Was happy to join but was not asked when I signed into the club and with two kids in the play area I was not in a position to go back to the front desk to sign up.
Play area is great and kids had a blast. But as a parent I think the club needs to get the cafe up to scratch to encourage parents to return.

I must say I've worked with food most of my life ,hard to please me eating out ,all I want is simple food cooked well nicely served and I got it ,the most delicious Ceaser Salad be it a small serving nevertheless just wonderful the dressing made this to another level with the crispy yes crispy cos shaved pecarino cheese croutons bacon Mmmmm !Out of this world..the chef has over 20 yrs experience and is dedicated to his craft...they also had soft shell crab...and duck legs ...go check it out ...10 thumbs UP

If you have school-age kids (any really), this place is awesome. Arcade, good food with great options, lovely staff and an easygoing atmosphere.

Great place to go solo or with a group. Plenty of food options, great kids' entertainment area. A real cozy and comfortable club.

Great food, great raffles and pokies if your in to that . Highly recommend Mayfield Mex Club, I've just renewed my membership for another 5 year's..

Good food, kind and friendly staff, excellent little play area for the little ones that you can see from your seat. Our kids love getting their slushies as well.

Food was amazing and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my daughter’s birthday and they made sure everyone had their meals at the same time.

Fast and delicious food. We went on 2 for 1 Pizza Thursday so good prices too. Really awesome play area for kids and nice colouring in sheets with Pencils available too. There's also an arcade area with games and a photo booth with props. Very fun family night out!

Fantastic kids play area. Nice atmosphere. Food is below average, price is high for quality and quantity. Kids burger meals were 2 solid rocks. Don't order the garlic bread unless you love oil. Chicken schnitzel is tiny and tasteless.
Ice cream bar is awesome tho 👌

A whole new established eatery and this place was great. A few great choices to choose from.
Loved the service from the staff. Very friendly.
A little pricey, but it's worth it when you get the 2for1 pizza deal.
Really great Pizzas .
The new Sundae bar could have another machine as there were alot of people waiting in line and getting frustrated.
It's a great venue. I do miss the all you eat that was here prior.
Bring it back.

"A buffet is the best place one might say."
And Star Buffet topples all of that into something improved!
The tables were crisp clean, the staff were always helpful and... the food was absolutely scrumptious! I had chips, Salt and Pepper fish, Chocolate Marshmallows at the fondue , it was endless for me!
I loved it all! I cannot believe a spacious room turns into a moment of a lifetime for all us to endure.
So remember next time, "Meet me at the Mex!"
