Would like to say a big thank you to Miami Tavern for accommodating my daughter's 17th birthday dinner at short notice. They went above and beyond to assist with last minute changes to our booking (adding and rearranging tables to suit). The staff were amazing ... friendly, professional and very helpful. Food was delicious, service was great and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this venue for any group dinner or function.

With the new reservations The Miami has an amazing new lease on life. The restaurant has amazing views and excellent decor.
My family and I spent Christmas lunch here with an amazing buffet set up. The vibe was great from all who attended and the staff who hosted.

Very disappointed with the miami platter. For $65 we expected a bit more food- would have been better off ordering two mains. Calamari was all clumped together, Skewers were no bigger than my thumb. Also watched it sit on the counter for a good 5 minutes before it was delivered (like lots of other food). The atmosphere was nice and drinks were quick but food was seriously lacking.
Probably wouldn't bother coming back.

This place is amazing!! We were served my a blonde girl - I believe she was the manager, she was beyond accommodating & so informative with what she was serving. Beautiful smile and bubbly personality! Definitely made our experience feel special. The food was amazing & the vibe of the place is great. If you want a great place to get a good feed and be served by great bartenders this is the place to be! We will be back :)

The Tavern is nice and clean and the service was quite good. It took over an hour to get our food however I was told that would be the case so have no problem with that. I was however quite disappointed with the food when it came out. For $32 my dish consisted of cold chips, dry fish and worst of all, two scallops which as you can see in the pic were like little dry erasers. Pretty disappointing. When I asked "Are these seriously the scallops?" The response was "Yep looks like it"....

Tasteful food and amazing atmosphere. The place hace plenty of natural light.
Maybe it took a bit much to the order to arrive. But the kitchen was just open.

Possibly the worst $26 burger I had in my life. I dont think a cheaper beef mince even exists, not to mention the bread or tasteless tomatoe. The view is good. And there is no service you litterally wait and order like at maccas. Typical Australian pub standard but expensive. The “waitresses” who dont wait on you but bring you your food are friendly and do smile hence the one star.

Our family came in for lunch and was welcomed by beautiful staff in the restaurant. We sat on the balcony across from the beach and the view was just outstanding! We were served by Deacon and he was so pleasant to deal with. Drinks and food were brought out at a perfect time and the cakes we had afterwards were delicious! Will definitely be coming back to the Miami!

Ordered food on the app where it said a 30 minute wait. 45 minutes went by, no one approached us, so I had to go to the counter and I got told it is now an hour wait. I have a toddler with me waiting for their food and we have waited patiently.
So we did wait for an hour, but no food came so I had to go and ask for a refund because we’ll just go to the nearest fast food so that our little one can eat. I went up and got told that it will come out in 5 minutes. And finally after 10 minutes, it came.
We only ordered steak, chicken and a kids meal.
The steak came with small serving of mash and veggies that looked like they ran out of veggies.
I guess it would be too much for me to ask if someone waited for more than an hour, at least add a tiny bit of helping on the food. :/
I recommend that they do update their app to say at least that it will be more than an hour wait so we didn’t have to sit down and not being attended to at all and find out we had to wait longer. And if someone is waiting for their food, at least have the wait staff to have the courtesy to approach waiting patrons and apologize for the wait and not leave them hanging.

Not too shabby, friendly staff and a great environment, the bar is bloody good I’m jealous. Great function rooms. Great menu.
The food was pretty good and of a reasonable price. Definitely give it a try folks. Thanks

Not one to do reviews but felt I needed to. VERY disappointed with the Avocado salad with side of prawns $36. More of a side salad of spinach leaves, 4 slivers of thinly sliced avocado and 4 soggy prawn's and presentation appauling . Kid’s nuggets rock hard and not eaten and chips cold. Shame it’s my local won’t be going again or suggesting to others.
Update: response disappointing for a salad I paid $36 for I could have bought an amazing seafood dish across the road and the surf club

Just wish the kids meal was brought out first, cocktails were excellent as was the bartender that entertained our hangry 5 year old.
It was strange that a manager made a point to tell our 5 year old the fish needed time to cook, and talk procedure with their 2 kitchens, then passive aggressively wishing me a lovely night.
He is a child and was hungry.
We did have a great night regardless.
Good portions and great quality meals.

It was a quick and easy process to book a table online. We did arrive early but Deacon came and saw us, explaining that our table wasn't quite ready but he will have it ready in a few minutes. There was a beautiful area we sat for such a short time before being escorted to our table. We had a wonderful view out on the deck, looking out to the park which also was ocean view as well. Deacon was great with getting our drink orders right, making sure all 10 that we had at our table we sorted. After reviewing the menu, we had no issues ordering after a short time food was served and we couldn't fault anything. Food was amazing, the Seafood tower was the highlight and was enjoyed. Ribs, Steak and chicken was ordered and served to perfection. Great portion size, with even our pickiest of eaters enjoying every bite.

I’m here on vacation and had the pleasure of dining in this fabulous establishment. The food was fabulous and drinks were very refreshing! That’s not all, the best part had to be our server Bri! She was very fast and attentive, just an overall treat! Will definitely recommend!

I love The Miami. Relaxed dining and entertainment with a beautiful view of the ocean from upstairs and a park for the kids to have a play at across the road.
It's usually not to busy to get a table but it's always a good idea to book if you want to sit in the restaurant upstairs on the weekends or holidays.
They have good kids meals, vegan options and the cocktails arn't bad either.

I just wanted to say the security and the gaming staff/managers are very respectful. I think they handled kicking out my uncles very well. They drank so much alcohol!
If I could just give a couple of suggestions, when you stop serving people alcohol, be sure to tell the other areas as well because my uncle was refused service in the gaming lounge due to intoxication but he just walked to the sports bar and was served again. Also, staff should watch a little more closely with alcohol consumption and communicate between the areas about people because the bistro, sports bar and gaming are so far apart that you aren’t all watching what people are consuming.

If you're visiting from out of town, I recommend avoiding this place. My experience with the chicken burger was disappointing—the portion of chicken was very small, and the buns were dry and not soft at all. It seemed like they tried to reheat stale food. Additionally, the calamari was undercooked and inedible. Save your money and choose another dining option.

Great atmosphere and awesome views of the beach. Food was 10/10 and came out fast. Taya was very helpful with our table of 12, definitely will be coming back

Flash new lay out in a great location.
Parking can be scarce at time. Food was nice and priced reasonably service was also good I well be returning to this venue and will update my review if anything changes.

Excellent food, everything ordered was good, steak, fish, chicken schnitzel, prawn linguine. You can choose Senior portion if you want a smaller portion. Coconut Margarita was unusual and nice. Lots of beers to choose from. Just next to the gold coast beach lookout, can take scenic pictures

Dude, I gotta tell you about this epic seafood and grill bar I hit up recently. The food was out of this world—fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The vibe was totally chill, the staff were awesome, and the drinks were on point. Highly recommend, bro!

Beers were great but coffee not so good. What level of coffee can you expect from a Tavern though I guess! Food was great. Lamb rissoles a real smash with potato mash and veggies.

Been here quite a few times because the food and service is usually pretty good. This time however I'm really disappointed. We stood waiting to be seated for a long time with only one person acknowledging us saying she'd be with us soon (she wasn't). Finally another server came up to us and without even a greeting demanded to know if we had a booking and just proceeded to be generally rude without an ounce of customer service which is her job. Not sure we're going to be coming back after this.

All the staff are super friendly! We visited the sports bar, pokies and the bistro and all the staff were absolutely beautiful lovely people. The young lady Taya that served us in the bistro was absolutely amazing. The food was outstanding definitely looking forward to coming back.

A great place to test your trivia skills on a Wednesday night - prizes to be won, friendly staff and good pub food. Modern fitout, good ambiance and all up a chilled spot to have a beer.
