Well located. Couple minute bus ride from the city center! The pub underneath is really nice. Good food and good a**osphere.

We just had a meal there. Service was excellent the food was good, the outdoor bar area has a nice cozy feel, I had my kids there and there was connect 4 and jenga so something to keep them occupied, music wasn't too loud and there was plenty of parking

We had lunch on a warm Sunday afternoon. The chicken burger and chicken Parmi were cooked to perfection and Dom the lady who served us was definitely an asset to the hotel. Her attention to us was observant , not pushy and wanting to offer good customer service. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be returning for another meal. Well done.

We called in for lunch and had the BEST salt & pepper squid ever, plus a GF Gnocchi. Care was taken to ask all the right questions about allergies and meals came out in no time! This pub has such an awesome vibe and lovely staff. We'll be back.

Wanted to shout out the great service we got from Josh on Friday night! He was so friendly, amazing service and the best mullet going around for sure. Definitely the main reason we’ll be coming back!

Today I visited this place called The mile end hotel with all my friends and I was stunned by my experience and waitress Domenica she made my night so much better and excited to get the amazing table service I was given luxury compliments and ongoing appreciation attention give to me and my friends we enjoy the excitement the ongoing table service, the good recommendations the jokes that ongoing are you okay is your food okay? Do you want to exchange things and asking very open questions being very polite and making us feel very welcome and showing us great great attention and customer service that most restaurants don’t do here. It was very happy with my friends and the beverage with stunning design and the area look so funk and pretty very relaxed so much better then other restaurants. And the waitress Domenica’s even said good bye to us we will definitely come back here.
Me and my friend came back to mile end hotel we so happy see same waitress again Domenica she gave us fantastic customer service again we order Tommy Margaritas cocktail by pass and rymill standard 150 mls glasses wines 2 Lois lane glasses of champagne we sit on tables 36 she gave us amazing fantastic customer service again plus tables service again so happy see her again thankyou for hospitality again Domenica’s

Today I decided to come back to mile end to enjoy another experience. I enjoy coming to this pub, I loved the chicken burger and fruit tingle was very tasty worth the money. Today the same waitress severed me again very lovely lady always asking how you are and if your alright even gave my dog some water to drink. She’s very skilled lady always having a nice conversation with her. She should be given a metal. Worth the money time and experience overall (Location 3/5) (Food 4/5) (Service 5/5)

Thank you to the Mile End Hotel - we had a champion night, and can highly recommend the Mile End Hotel - I had the lovely Art Deco Landing Room for my birthday gathering, as requested, with the table beautifully set up for a big group, with a Happy Birthday sign, love it, and complimentary drink, and the staff lovely. Good food (though maybe a bit pricey) Great edgy vibe and decor to the rest of the pub too

Table was dirty drink residue and crumbs
Place full of people who are obnoxiously loud
Ordered medium rare steak. Got rare
Did not give us fork we have to take from other table
Relied on barcode ordering thats why tables are neglected and dirty
Caters for groups not couple or single thats why its always loud and annoying
Will not be coming back

Super comfy bed & bedding, air con as cold as Antartica, black out curtains for a guaranteed sleep in. Some rooms have bathroom & some have to use one out in the hallway, so be mindful when booking. Small bar fridge and tea making facilities, no microwave in my room. Heating lamps in my bathroom were awesome. In terms of looks, it’s old - you get what you pay for. It was great value for money. I didnt think much of the food but the kitchen seemed busy, so others must enjoy it. Proximity to everything I wanted to do in town was great. The cleaner was very friendly and dedicated to her job. Locals told me I was “brave” for staying there but I felt comfy with the bikies & the patrons seemed to enjoy my goth girl image. Majority of patrons looked like “your average Joe”. I’d stay again

Sign outside says open late every night. 22:10 on a Saturday and greeted with “sorry we’re clearing all the beer lines out, so we’re not serving right now”. Google says you’re open until 3am, and the staff are cleaning up and packing tables away just after 10. Even by Adelaide standards that’s not late.

Late review - apologies!
We celebrated a belated family Christmas at the Mile End Hotel. The staff were spectacular in helping us plan the lunch and went above and beyond on the day to make sure we all had a great time. They even found some Christmas decorations from storage to make it extra special. Everybody enjoyed their meals. One of our group is sensitive to chili and asked to have no chili on their pasta and it was perfect for them. The two other people found it a bit spicy so just ask and the staff will be more than accommodating. Thanks again to all who looked after us. It may well become a regular event for us!

Last time we were here the cocktails took 30 minutes to come out and when they did they were made incorrectly. My partner had to explain how to make them properly.
We decided to give them another chance, the drinks took forever to come out which meant we had no drinks with our entrees.
We then ordered another drink and kids ice cream which mentions on their menu that there is a choice of toppings the first waitress we asked about this said there wasn’t a choice, 40 minutes later we ask about the ice cream and he asked us what topping we wanted, we told him strawberry which he said was fine…. The ice cream and drink finally came out, the ice cream had no topping and we were given the wrong wine.
I will not be returning or recommending this establishment.

Just a beaut character pub with good food and drinks selection. Definitely feels like an Aussie pub compared to many in Adelaide that have gone too modern and lost its actual pub appeal. With friends/family at each end of Adelaide, it's always the best spot to meet in the middle.

Josh with the mullet was the best bartender a guy could ask for. Had a birthday function and the service was amazing. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

I went to a wake today at this pub and the service we received from a lovely girl named Ali was 5 star , she was run off her feet, but did an outstanding job. Made sure everyone there was catered for very well. Thank you Ali you were awesome

I attended the Mile End Hotel with my wife and toddler.
Upon arriving we went to the bar staff in the dining area to advise of our booking. The bar staff member could not find the table number of the one we booked and instead asked us to just find a table.
We then asked for a high chair for our toddler. He said OK, but then never brought it. We had to go back up and ask a different member of the bar staff for one, which he then brought over to us.
The food was the worst part of the experience. $57 for a parmy and a wagyu beef burger is extremely overpriced for what was received. The burger was served on what looked like a cafeteria tray with a scarce serve of chips. The burger itself looked like one I could make at home in minutes. The patty was burnt and tough and definitely did not taste like Waygu beef.
My wife got the parmy which was decently sized, however was drowning in the flavour of oregano, overpowering all other flavours.
The room we were in had lights, but they were not turned on, so we were sitting in a dim room to top things off.
The most disappointing thing is that we came here a few years ago and the food was delicious and we recommended the venue to friends.

Gather Round AFL 2024. City hotels price gouging during footy festival. Will stay again. Stayed 5 nights. Old pub downstairs but rooms upstairs renovated quiet and secure for older lady on own. Bus out front to city and airport. Good value and friendly helpful staff.

Four of us went to the hotel for a birthday dinner for myself. All our meals were served promptly and were delicious. One of the staff noticed I was opening birthday cards and much to my surprise, a short time later she came back with a card with birthday wishes written inside and also to go to the bar for a complimentary drink or dessert! This was most unexpected and a lovely gesture, thank you! Such a lovely old pub with decades of memories no doubt. Can recommend this lovely hotel for your next night out.

Fantastic festive food for Christmas lunch and superior service from all of the very friendly staff. Three courses with delicious choices for entree, main and dessert plus excellent sides to share. This ticked every box for a great Christmas lunch experience. Hats off to the head chef for a top quality dining experience.

Entrance to pub out front or beer garden has a back entrance near the drive through.
Can only comment on the pub meals and service, not accommodations.
Food menu has enough options, basic pub meals.
Quizz night is fun here, so if you’re keen stay on to have a fun go.

Booked the mile end to stay over for 1 night after travelling from Manchester as a way to recover before a weekend in Sydney. The room is very nice, bed is comfy, cannot fault anything. The staff are top level customer service, all friendly, welcoming and have a sense of humour. Food was awesome, both ordered the wagyu burger followed by desserts.

Booked a table for a work girls catch up and we were all very disappointed. The food was very average compared to the price. One meal was returned with the replacement garlic bread not even sent.

Bar Staff excellent! Couldn’t do more for you. Good atmosphere and lots of big tvs to watch the footy. Sadly food was bad! Flavourless and overpriced. Gnocchi Ragu was like tinned bolognaise sauce with chewy fatty beef chunks in it. Salad was underwhelming. Just way too expensive for meals of such poor quality. That said other patrons were raving about the burgers so we should’ve played it safe.
Will be back next time in Adelaide but only for a drink.

A group of friends celebrated a birthday at lunchtime today and found the level of service to be exemplary; nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much for making the day such a great experience!
