Set on Mittagong's Main Street, a 3-minute walk from the train station, this relaxed pub with rooms is 6 km from The International Cricket Hall of Fame. The simple rooms, some with traditional open fireplaces, come with TVs, wet bars, minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Most have shared bathrooms, while some have en suite facilities. What a space!
This beautiful old hotel and been brought back to life, with extensive renovations, stunning decor and a simply brilliant chef!
Sunlight streaming through the floor to ceiling windows, cheerful efficient staff, excellent service, and the most delicious menu!
Not our first visit, definitely won’t be the last!!

We stayed one night at the Mittagong Hotel and I wish it was two. The room was really comfortable and warm, and felt homely. We booked the ensuite room so cannot comment on the shared facilities. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed a night at the Mittagong Hotel as we were attending a family wedding nearby. They were wonderful about letting us arrive early to get ready for the wedding and our family suite was beautiful. Very tastefully refurbished and extremely comfortable! Would highly recommend

We recently stayed at the mittagong hotel for a romantic weekend away and to attend A Day on The Green.
The hotel is stunning. It has been recently renovated and refurbished, beautiful tones and gorgeous styling. Everything is so clean and fresh. Very comfortable. The rooms are fabulous.
Staff were warm and friendly and very helpful.
Michael the manager is an absolute legend and also one of the staff, Jess who was really helpful and professional.
It is within walking distance to shops, cafes, coffee, the lake and hiking trails.
Beautiful Bowral is just a short drive away.
We cannot recommend the mittagong hotel highly enough.

Well renovated lovely hotel. Clean, cosy and quiet rooms. Very comfortable beds. Quiet. Shared bathrooms - however clean and modern. Food in restaurant was excellent. Would be nice to have a mirror in bedroom. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, iron and ironing board, hair dryer in room.Good breakfast places across the road. Good antique shops very close by.

We have lunch at the Mittagong Hotel fairly regularly. The food is always exceptional, service is fast, friendly and efficient, and prices are good. We will keep coming back!

We had yet another meal in the bistro and once again, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional - especially given how busy the staff were on a Saturday evening! Really good value for money and the specials - which have been different every time we've visited - are really worth checking out.

We had Easter Sunday lunch at the Mittagong Hotel and it was an exceptional experience. The ambience of the restaurant was both welcoming and sophisticated, the renovation is superbly done. The staff were friendly and attentive, which contributed greatly to the overall pleasant atmosphere.
The food was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Each dish was rich in flavour, made with fresh ingredients, and cooked to perfection. Big compliments to all your staff in the kitchen-you made Brussel sprouts something I am now dreaming about!
The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of food and the experience provided.
If you looking for a meal that is both delicious and enjoyable in a comfortable, inviting setting than I would highly recommend the Mittagong Hotel. I certainly plan to return and would recommend it to others.

We booked a dinner at the bistro on recommendation from our hotel staff and we weren't disappointed. It was such a beautiful evening, food and wine were outstanding!

Very nice decor and furnishings. Service was pleasant. Food was nice but expensive. The salad with my Tbone was just rocket and pickled onion. A little bit of tomato, avocado and cucumber would have been nice. Parking out back was convenient but limited.

The staff at Mittagong Hotel are so welcoming and accommodating. A group of us attend Triva on Tuesday nights, which is always really busy, but the staff go out of their way to ensure you are looked after. Food is fabulous also. Best pub in the Highlands!

The renovation is beautiful. Rooms and shared bathrooms are lovely and clean. Staff are fantastic. But as the pub is old and on the Main Street, the windows don’t block much noise and it is SO loud. You can hear and feel every exhaust and truck go down the road

The Mittagong Hotel rooms have been refurbished with modern facilities. My room was nice and airy with a covered balcony. Location was excellent with easy access to cafes and shops. Mike was an excellent hotel manager, always ready to help. In particular, he carried my heavy suitcase to my first floor room. Many thanks again Mike.

The menu here is top class and the presentation is excellent. Mike the manager is friendly and accommodating. Regular changes of the specials board. Clean and fresh and welcoming.

Stopped off ar Mittagong hotel for an early dinner before heading to a day on the green. The atmosphere was lovely, staff were so friendly and helpful, the establishment itself was beautiful, clean and easy to get to. The food was absolutely delicious and great value, will 100% stop in here again

Rooms very nice - decor is lovely , room very clean .bath products beautiful. Bit noisy but to be expected at this type of venue and on a main road. Bit of confusion with our dinner but genuinely did all they could to rectify and apologise.

My family and I came across Mittagong Hotel on our day trip from Wollongong. |Taken over very recently by new owner and management, it’s so tastefully fully renovated in keeping with the many old timeless, classic charms and features. |This being said, I felt I had to review as we’ve returned twice since, with family and friends. |Both food and the very welcoming friendly service are outstanding, hard to come by now a-days. |There’s are variety of three seated areas. A very comfortable outdoor seating area which is also dog friendly, very large indoor seating area with bar an open kitchen plus wood fire oven and also a very cosy bistro area which has another bar, large tv screens and open fire. |The menu has so many choices, very well priced for great quality, many with local produce. I love that some choices you can choose a small or large serving, I noticed that there are also great choices for people with special dietary needs. The kids menu was great, not your typical frozen processed meals you get at most venues. |The standouts, and believe me there are many are the Pumpkin and Ricotta rotoli, wood fired pizzas, in particular the potato and truffle, house cured salmon coconut jalapeño, mixed grill board with many meats to sample. The food here is if not better than most of the fine dining restaurants back home. |We can’t wait to return again soon. 11/10!

Mittagong Hotel - Bubbles &Brunch.
We had a great time at the Bubbles & Brunch event. Food was delicious, music was good and staff were super friendly. Will definitely be going to this again!

Love the top pub. Jessie and Stacy are the best staff members. They charge my phone for me and never forget my name and always have a beer ready for just before I finish the last one and water is for free!!! Love the toppy crowie and Dan xxxxx

Impromptu Sunday lunch and thoroughly impressed. The menu is surprising and we are looking forward to going back to try more. The outside doesn't do the warm and cosy interior justice 👍

Had two dinners during a business trip, walking distance to our accommodation.
Great selection of food for dinner, clean, can be busy during evening dinner times, we were mostly in by 630pm.
Friendly staff. Suitable for family with kids, informal dining, drink and wine selection was good too.

Had the pleasure of staying for 1 night. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were extremely polite and attentive (rare these days). I ordered rump with garlic prawns and it was the best steak I have EVER had…from the west coast to east coast, hands down 10/10. Highly recommend this establishment. I will be back.

Fantastic experience for both the accommodation and the bistro! King room has been beautifully renovated and very homey making the perfect stop over in transit.
Food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay!

Beautiful decor friendly and helpful staff food tasted great. I was disappointed with my pasta as I felt it had been precooked there was clumps in it that weren't raw but cooked through and stuck togeather this was disappointing for a $36. plate and didn't match the great flavours that were there. When I complained staff did bring me a fresh plate ? on the pasta on that one
