Yes! I visited here a few days ago, for lunch. I had a chicken wrap for my lunch and all compliments to the chef, it was yummy...The barmaid..gosh! she is such a jovial person and an awesome hostess...and oh! so helpful..thank you for your beautiful services sweety. The premises were spotless, clean inside and out...wow! Now, who would have thought this place existed, been tucked away in an industrial location!! If someone hadn't told me about it, I would have never known. I'll be back....and..Yes!! I have already told others about it...

What a wonderful find. Classic outback pub/industrial feel, with a small but delicious menu and huge range of beers on tap. Went in for lunch and will definitely be going back, good was fresh, fast and tasty. Staff are lovely and friendly as well.

What a great little gem off the beaten track. The food was exceptional. Staff were great. If you are looking for a place to go too with character and old school service and charm ... this is it. Immerse yourself in the memorabilia from the days of yesteryear.. have a cold beer from the excellent selection of taps that they have on offer.
Its is worth having a look.. a beer and something to eat

We went to the Monte for a feed in May and it was below average. Thought we would try again hearing some recent good feedback and omg what a difference.
All our meals were absolutely amazing!!! I will not be waiting so long to come back.
Great food, friendly staff, nice laid back atmosphere.

Watch out for staff that are so awesome to hangout with you might be forced to buy them a beer.
The chef is unreal and the dinner special blew me away with high quality steak and beer at a great value price point.
Truly a locals favourite.

Only had a drink here so far. But menu looks awesome and prices even better. Definitely looking a place to frequent.

Nice little hidden gem, blast from the past decore with lots of interesting items creating a cozy and wonderful atmosphere. A wide range of beers on tap to choose from I didn't have time to try them all but I'll try harder next time. Chef was not available the day I visited but the friendly manager said they would soon be hiring a chef who can work weekends aswell. Some rockin tunes playin also helps to set a chill vibe. Do recommend 👌

Mate hire out for his 50th. Great little place with great atmosphere, big outdoor area with heaters. Inside has cool memorabilia all over the walls. Didnt try the food

Lovely lunch with great service. We had a steak, salad and chips special and it was a large portion meal fresh and delicious.

Just found this place looking for somewhere to eat for lunch and found here and it did not disappoint food was amazing and great service. Only a small pub but definitely worth a visit. Also love how there are no pokies or tab! 10/10 would recommend

I was confused, verging on nervous, as the uber turned into the massive industrial estate that occupies most of the suburb of Springwood, because I don't usually associate birthday parties (like the one I was attending) with industrial estates.
That, it turns out though, is an artifact of my sheltered upbringing - the Monte Ale House is amazing. Amidst the drab concrete and brick exteriors of endless brake and tire shops, fitters and mechanics it sits, an oasis in the desert of industry.
They've great, inexpensive drinks, delicious food, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They have now become my new gold standard for pubs, and my only regret is that I'm not an alcoholic - you can't bottle waffling on like a pretentious jerk, so they can't serve my primary addiction.

Had my 3 year olds birthday dinner here. Small, modern, uncrowded bar, friendly staff and excellent food, everyone in my group was very happy with their meal. Pretty good for one chef doing it all by himself. Will drink and dine here again.

Great place for a beer or 3... and a cheap delicious lunch, my wife and I like this place a lot as there are no pokies so it's nice to have a great conversation with friends and family. On Sundays there is live music and the atmosphere is always friendly and polite, kinda like our own version of "Cheers", where everybody knows your name lol. It's the only place anywhere where it's safe to leave your wallet on the table if going to the bar or toilet. A genuine relaxed atmosphere like no other around here.

Great food and well priced.
I travel from Cornubia to get my counter lunch fixes.
Chef is talented. Last feed was pork belly with mash and veg. Massive! And awesome.
Nice cold beers too.
Chicken schnitzel is also fabulous.

Friendly service. Great food, tasty and value-wise. Enjoyed a few songs. Will definitely be back for another Sunday Session and to hear some more music while trying out the beers available

First time trying out the Monte Ale House - seriously great lunch meals! Fantastic service from the lovely bar lady and had the best value $10 lunch steak cooked to medium-rare perfection (no blood sauce meaning the chef took the time to rest the meat). Highly recommended, we will definitely be back very soon!

Both me and my wife's love this place! Staff are super friendly and their price's are great! They have an amazing range of beers to try and have most things that you would need! Well worth checking out!!!

Amazing family friendly venue tucked away with delicious food that is well priced. Beer lovers will love it here.
There is seating and a pool table outside.
Inside there is some great memorbillia on the walls, a playable pinball machine, seating at the bar and some intimate seating to a meal.
The staff are super friendly and accommodating and have a variety of beers on tap.
The drive through bottle shop has an amazingly wide range of craft beers.
