Wow what an amazing family & dog friendly venue. The kids area was the best I have seen in Australia… massive playground, basketball court, table tennis, mini golf… but the best part was the 2 awesome young ladies that entertained the large number of kids with dancing competitions and more.
Great value food and happy hour drinks & cocktails. We tried the Rump & Rib special and it was big and yummy. Good kids selections too.
Did I forget the great live music. Absolutely loved the place.

We specifically wanted a dog friendly environment, and this ticked every box.
The staff were excellent. That sat us in view of the big TV to watch the NRL game that night.
Would definitely frequent again

We love Moonee Tavern. We stopped on for a lunch date. Delicious food, great service and a really relaxing atmosphere. It's not the cheapest option but it's worth the money. Easy parking, mobility access, kids friendly, indoor outdoor options. And it's right next to ALDI, Coles, chemist, and other shops at none shopping centre. Easy on and off from the highway too.

We had a great meal but despite having rung and booked a table and receiving an email confirmation there was no table reserved for us!!

Very popular, reasonable meals and price, BUT best of all, it's dog friendly.
Unfortunately, my wife got Salmonella poisoning from the chicken pamigiana, the rest of us had nice meals and no problems. The handling of the chicken by the kitchen staff was obviously not the best practice.

This place is a hidden gem! We took two U14 basketball teams and their families here last night and everyone commented on how awesome it was! Food was delicious and plentiful, service great and the boys had such a great time in the kids area particularly the basketball hoop! Margaritas were a hit for the basketball mums! Thanks everyone, we will be back next time we are in Coffs!!

This placed used to be great must have changed ownership. My family and I dined here recently and found the food to be below average and overpriced. My $23 dollar vegetarian pizza had not more than a teaspoon of pumpkin and half a teaspoon of feta. The base was raw and soggy, left hungry and won't return. My sister had the seafood laksa which was tasty but predominantly a soup with minimal seafood and lots of crustacean shells. Steaks average.

The serving size was excellent, if not too big for my waistline, but I really enjoyed the pork belly.
Plenty of activities for the whole family it was a really relaxing space for a birthday celebration.
There can be a long wait for food when they're busy, so just order yourself some drinks and garlic bread and enjoy your company until it is ready.

The dining experience fell short of expectations. While the chili steak tacos had good flavor, the meat was disappointingly chewy. Similarly, the fried sticky chili wings lacked spice and were dry. The Bhaji burger was passable but had an odd flavor for a burger. The beef nachos were dry and tasteless. Surprisingly, the kids' chips were the highlight. Given the lackluster main dishes, it's hard to justify their high prices. Overall, the meal left much to be desired, and I'd think twice before returning.

Stayed in a tiny house with my dog. Space was clean and stylish with air con. Quiet and overall nice place. My only problem was they bait for wild dogs and foxes with 1080 poison. The resort cares for the beach, and so i question how is it “dog friendly”
when you’re putting out poison that will kill my dog in a horrible writhing death? Stop 1080 poisoning. There are better, more compassionate and safer ways to deal with problematic animals. You can walk to the shopping center for a meal, and a little coffee stand at the beach park. Plenty of kids there but not screamers.

Really enjoyed my Beetroot & Fig salad here! Great food and atmosphere, place looks clean and staff were friendly. Went on a Wednesday night and it was busy - quite a long queue to order food and a little bit of a wait for food to be ready, but nothing too bad! Definitely recommend booking ahead, especially with a large group of people.

Pretty good food, great atmosphere so dog friendly. Staff are fantastic, and service with a smile. The pub runs courtesy buses, which allow dogs on board. We reckon the Moonee Beach Hotel was a great place for a beer or two with family and friends.

Place is great for young kids
$26 for a LARGE fish and chips 2 average size pieces of fish and no tartar sauce I would hate to see how big the small serving is. Missus wasn’t a fan of her snitzel either only ate half. Never received vouchers for a drink and ice cream for daughters kids meal

Only in Coffs for a couple of days.
Came here on our last night.
Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
It was a bonus that we could bring our dog Reba.

Not too bad, decided to eat here because the prices in google reviews/photos looked good. But when we arrived the prices were much higher. Seen some people had ordered ribs but we seen no mention of them in the menu or specials menu. Maybe we missed it, but ended up just ordering a steak. Unfortunately it was well below average. Chewy and lacked flavour. The place has potential, but missed the mark on our visit.

I'll be honest, we hadn't heard anything good from the locals, but decided to give it a go, and mate, I'm glad we did.
The staff were amazing, the food was incredible (parmis), the drinks were reasonably priced and the venue was well laid out for families.
The place was pumping due to holiday patronage and Tuesday night Trivia, but even then, the food came out quickly, was hot, beautifully presented and delicious.
To top it off, Drew, the Courtesy Bus driver was accommodating, friendly and super safe.
So, the moral of the story - ignore the locals, and trust your gut - you'll be glad you did.

Great little pub. Food we had was awesome. They cook the scotch really well!
Staff are friendly and polite.
Massive kids playground.
Inside eating area, beer garden, VIP lounge, sports on the TV screens. We stayed in town 5 days and ate here 3 times

Good quality but the prices have exploded! New menu is now 20% greater than previous menu. E enjoyed a scotch fillet steak a month ago for $34.50, last week it was $41.50. A beer and glass of wine are now $25.00. Strewth ay. Nights out are becoming more infrequent

Food was nice.
Meat lovers pizza was good.
The split chicken was delicious.
Kids play area is always a hit with min golf, basketball.

First time going here & I loved it.. the food was hot & fresh.. Yummy cocktails & a selection of beers & cocktails.. nice customer service great atmosphere & good music.. I had a frozen margarita was so delicious.. The burgers are so big & to yummy.. The chips & Wedges were perfect...I will be going there again

Delicious food, brilliant service, nice atmosphere. The absolute highlight of our experience was Drew, who drove the courtesy bus. He was completely delightful and made our night. Thank you Drew!

Can recommend the Pepper Steak and Truffled Mushroom Pot Pie
Full of big chunks of meat and mushrooms. Yum. Great with a Balter XPA. Enjoy.

By far the best place we have eaten out on our 2 week road trip through NSW. Great food. Huge meals and the pizzas were delicious. Good value. Very clean. The staff were also very friendly. My wife loved the lighthouse cocktail. Pulled pork burrito bowl and garlic prawns. Yum yum. Highly recommended.

Big family friendly pub! Happy friendly, helpful staff. Oversized kids play area and dogs are allowed in outdoor areas. Plenty of seating inside and out, good food with some specials. Great beer selection and drinks options in general. Fair prices. We went twice whilst on holiday nearby and would recommend it. Heaps parking and adjacent to a shopping centre, with Coles and LiquorLand etc.

Awesome Tavern.
Nice outdoor grassy beer garden, dog friendly, with plenty of activities to keep the kiddies entertained.
Good selection of tap beers amazing customer service very friendly staff who are actually knowledgeable of there products.
If your there on a Monday the 2 4 1 pizza deal is so worth it...

Awesome nachos and the sharpest pencils I've ever encountered at a pub. Someone obviously takes pride in keeping them pointy ✏️✏️✏️ Regular trivia games, heaps of stuff to keep the kids entertained, and awesome concerts.
I almost had 'Moo' much fun!

Absolutely fantastic food with very large portions. Would have ordered a barrel of Diane sauce if that was an option. Cocktails were well mixed but a bit of wait.
