We went for a family dinner at the restaurant. Food was okay, service was great from the kitchen and bar staff, kudos to them. However, the whole place REEKS of cigarettes. As soon as you walk in you can smell it. After arriving home my hair and my clothes stink, I haven’t smelt like this since my nightclubbing days and I didn’t leave my table at the restaurant. It definitely just feels like a place to play the pokies and place a bet. The restaurant side feels like a bit of an after thought, evidently not being invested into as of course profits are made by the machines not meals anymore. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I would go if I were invited again in a group.

This is our local and it never disappoints. Food is delicious, service is excellent. We have never had a bad night here. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere was really good as Santa and Elf were there. When we first walked inside, the place was underwhelming and smelly. It definitely needs a renovation. The food was pretty good, though. The fact that they had a kids' Christmas fun day with craft activies made it a good day.

Other, slightly less negative things
- One knife available to share between 4 adults
- Wrong food brought to the table
- Salt and pepper squid unsatisfactory
- Uncomfortable seating
While the reviews on Google for this look overwhelmingly positive, quite a few of the reviews regarding the food are negative. So if I do get salmonella from this chicken, I will be contacting fellow reviewers and lodging a bulk food safety complaint to Service NSW. Thank you for ensuring I never bring my family here again.

Queen Margherita would have had something to day about this. No tomato, no basil and no bocconcini (mozzarella) on a Margherita pizza!! Just cheese of some description.

Pizza not cooked in the middle took it home to finish the cooking(supreme) My daughter ordered a steak as most of our guests did very ordinary quality again not cooked properly. Wouldn’t recommend any time soon

Nice pub that isn't overcrowded awesome staff except the Muppet security guard they bought in for Melbourne Cup Day. I think he was trying to impress the normal security guy.

Moorebank hotel was recommended to us by a friend and we were pleasantly surprised.. The food was a little pricey but we think it is worth it. They do have specials on certain days etc. Kid friendly facility with a safe playground. Reccomended to others. We will be back to try some other dishes on the menu. The staff were helpful and efficient.

I’ve been here multiple times now and the last few times I have taken my kids. The new play area is simple yet perfect for younger kids. The food has never disappointed us and the staff are always very friendly. The kids day they do once a month was so much fun, highly recommend going.

I'm not sure if the restaurant has new management, but the food was definitely not up to scratch. I used to go there alot but I think I will give it a miss in future. The portions are smaller and one of my friends ordered veal schnitzel and she said it was awful. She didn't even think it was veal - very disappointing 😒

I love going here. Mondays is pizzas and pasta $15 Tuesday and Wednesday is Chicken schnitzel, rump steak and battered fish $15 not sure about the other days but they have specials too. Sunday I think kids eat free. We love the food it is always cooked perfectly and tastes delicious

I have brought my client here many times and every time I must say the staff the food and the welcoming has been fantastic and warm. there are a few pool tables we use and they are kept in good condition, I love the Nepali chefs in the kitchen who make the most delicious meals and spaghetti. Always a pleasure coming here.

Had dinner here tonight with my mum and two boys, the food was amazing and such great portion sizes.. Staff were super friendly as were one of the regulars who showed us where the restaurant was.. Will definitely be back for sure

Great place to catch up with friends. Good play area for your kids away from other guests as our kids can get over excited. Never had a problem with my meals. Last week I had the hotpot and thoroughly enjoyed it. The prawns were a good size and cooked to perfection.

Great meal of rump steak, chips and salad for a very reasonable price ($26) at Fillipos. The steak was cooked to order and was enjoyed with a cold beer. The staff are helpful and friendly.

The staff were friendly ,helpful and smiling!! The hotel is Clean, Great staff. Great food, Fireplace,yassss!. Will be back to try the rest of the menu for sure!. Compliments to the 👨🍳.

Food is terrible. Easily worst meal ever had. Asked for medium scotch got well done burnt rump that was raw in the middle when I asked for it to be replaced they said no and I have to buy another one. $36 for a burnt raw steak the size of the sides of sauce you get. Customer service was disgusting they didn't care about customers at all had no empathy or try to help even smirking when I said meal wasn't what I ordered. Got drinks on a tab that never arrived and had to pay for them again. Got the fettucini that had penne mixed in because they ran out and tasted like a tin of cold tomatoes but was still dry. Risotto wouldn't have a second bite. Salad was dry and wilted with no dressing.Will never ever go again absolutely disgusting

Excellent food, standard Pub prices, have only been about 4 times but never disappointed, thinking of the meals I or others have had in our visits, with the Ragu, Schnitzel, Prawn Linguine, Burger, Steak.

Disgusted with everything. There was no one to seat us, we had to find a menu as non on table. The table wasn't even set and the chairs were just anyhow.I think some cutlery came with food.There was no service whatsoever. The men had to go to bar for drinks I have lived in Moorebank for 50+years and was my first visit and will be my last. So disappointed.

Cold night, indoor tables all reserved had to sit in the outdoor area, some heaters were on. Chairs need replacing as they are really worn and have numerous holes in them.

Clean and nicely decorated. It was a quiet afternoon, however, service was strange; I went to order and was told that someone else would serve me. Once I ordered, I was told to come back in 5 minutes because someone else would deal with the payment. I asked if I needed a buzzer, as is customary, and the person was really confused and handed me one reluctantly. When I returned 5 minutes later, the new person serving me had no prior knowledge of this interaction. I had to order, pay and get a new buzzer. To be clear, everyone was nice, it was just bizarre.
Food came very quickly. The pizza dough was really good. I ordered the Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza and I think they forgot to put a base sauce as it didn’t match the pictures and was incredibly bland and unseasoned. At one point, we questioned whether we were being pranked on a hidden camera show - great laugh (5 stars)! The Melanzane pizza was good. Portion sizes were good and wedges were great!

Can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here.
They have specials throughout the week.
The meals are generally always served quickly and staff are always courteous.
