Thought we would ride from Armstrong Beach to Moranbah to finally check this town out as a lot of residents here have come from there. Peak Downs Highway was mostly good. There was some patchy bits on the other roads linking to highway requiring slowing down but otherwise good.
Moranbah Workers Club was nice and modern. Plenty parking. Food was good and atmosphere was relaxed. We ordered a pizza to share which was plenty for us. Very nice. Staff friendly.
Stopped for a photo at the big bucket.
Big ride for lunch but we've seen it now, no need to go back. No shade intended.👍

The food is below standard and overpriced. They’re out of stock for the salad in our steak but didn’t want to give us any compensation and said that the salads is free (which it is included in the price). They don’t even try to speak to us nicely about it and just letting us to go away without any good intentions. You should think twice about doing that to your customer. The guy that treat us bad name starting with M.

Salmon and Broccollini were undercooked. Frozen Carrots were watery and the garlic sauce not nice.

Renovations, no excuse for rude unprofessional management.
Food was ordered to come out all together, sweet & sour pork $20 worse than a frozen meal from Woolies $3.50…
Beers $2 more than the competition 500mts down the road. Pokie machines with low jackpots than the competition…
Clear this venue is only about profits & not customer satisfaction or quality.

Really disappointed in the lack of allergy friendly meals they had available. My daughter is gluten free and was very limited. I phone in advance and was reassured the chips were gf. When I arrive I am told by staff they aren’t. The staff need more education around reading allergy labels as one of the staff taking orders didn’t know how to read an allergy label to find if the product was gluten free.

Nice place for a drink and a catch up with bar snacks, I don't recommend the mains menu though. It is very overpriced for what you get. E.g 7 prawns for $12 would be OK if they were a decent size, but the are smaller then a scallop

Look for a pub food this place is ok. Everything is catered for mining town blokes that love a steak and a pint. The Wagyu rump is probably the pick of the lot. But the Western motor inn down the road does a way better steak.

Long line to order. Received entree, 5 mins main is ready, had to ask for it to be kept in warmer- way to quick, wasn't well cooked. Pasta was still a bit hard and inedible. Oysters were not very nice. Very disappointed that cocktails are no longer available. Bar person needs more knowledge on basic mixed drinks.

Great place for a feed and a beer. Staff were very nice and the food came out great. There are a few areas to sit and differing atmosphere in each. Tab, Leno and pokies, footy on tv and pool tables available. Settle in and have a night of it

Good food and if you visit more than a couple of times get a membership for $5 and get discounts on food and drink

Fantastic night at Moranbah. The Club had a fantastic atmosphere and was enjoyed by all. The kids play area was a bonus, kept them away from us. Meals were all excellent.

Exactly what you expect from club!
Good food, portion big enough for 2 not too hungry people.
Service was quick ., no queue.
Little bit noisy but not crucial.
Available courtesy bus.

Currently undergoing renovations…wait till renovations are finished before eating here, usually a great feed and good service but due to the ongoing renovations the food was appalling, only thing going for the club at the moment is the bar.

Crowded due to popularity. Great prices. And good food. Ordered a pizza and onion rings and was delicious. Have a salad bar for dine in.

Civeo Moranbah Village
The rooms are alright but the meals are a bit off they don't charge there menu
Most times some of their Hot meals are cold and dried out
I think they need better cooks
But there is a plus side the shop are not to far away they have KFC Red rooster and a Chinese restaurant The workers club they have very good meals

Can someone either tune down the microphone or tell the guy speaking on it short and sweet please. I come here to enjoy a drink with friends, we all have to stop and listen, it’s annoying please stop….

Called in for lunch today, good selection of pub style meals with a self serve salad bar. Prices are reasonable and interior layout is very good Looking forward to our return visit.

Bloody good pub, bit pricey but hey just make sure you get up on the doggies and slaps and could be free 🤷♂️
