Went for a family celebration at lunch time during the week, staff were very efficient and friendly. Meals came out in a timely manner, I ordered rump steak which unfortunately was over cooked, the vegetables and green peppercorn sauce were good.
Update: another family function, this time ordered the beef curry and it was pretty good 👍

We have been here before and the meals were great so I’m still giving this review 3 starts.
Tonight we came in and sat down and it took 55 minutes before or orders were taken. Then waited another 30 mins for our meals to come out (not too bad).
The veggies were so overcooked that you could barely eat them, the bruschetta bread was soggy, the kids meals came out with empty sauce containers on the plate. The kids enjoyed their chips. You can tell the staff were super busy but this was just a little disappointing.

Today we had a lunch at Morwell bowling club Victoria: place is very welcoming, clean, lovely, causy setting, people warm, pleasent, full of respect courtesy, food excellent.
We are from Sydney, and enjoyed our lunch time at Morwell bowling club.

they have a buy one get one free menu,
as we were very hungry,we chose to have the full size Parma at 26 each ,,it was the size if a slice of bread, if we got the two for one deal ,,they sad that would be cut in half!!!..
from inside, excellent value for money ,,
food ..terrible ,
judge for yourself ,,but when you walk in ,
look at other people's plates before you order!

Ordering 5 different meals, we thought at least one person would enjoy there food, but none of us could manage to finish the food it was that unpleasant.
The service was not very friendly at all.
The toppings were stale at the icecream bar and icecream didn’t taste like icecream.
The playground was good, just wished it was designed better so that kids are able to be better supervised whilst within the playground.
And all the rules sign posted about children age restrictions in play areas, dress code, ect. none were followed.

Much like Taralgon, great place if you like bowls, beer or gambling. Excellent place if you like all 3!!

Meals were great but very large. Bob had the seafood selection and I had char grilled chicken breast in a bed of sweet potato mash and veggies. Beer and wine were icy cold. We are not locals but would eat here again

Loved it. Never been there before. We went there for a birthday party. There's a children's play room to keep the little kids entertained.
Staff excellent, service was great, and the food was amazing, I had a barbecue meat lover's pizza. Best pizza I've had for a long long time.
Will definitely be going back.

Just signed up tonight as a full member for $25 for a year. I get discounted food and drinks and earn reward points.
The meals are very well priced and delicious.

It was ok except our meals were brought out at different times. The ice cream bar is fun, they make the worst strawberry daiquiris

I go here often now for a meal, as they provide great service, great meals and great prices!! Cooked our steak perfectly, which its rare to find a chef that can cook a steak as requested!! Seafood selection,,, awesome!! Kids play area is great!! Strongly suggest this bistro to everyone!!!

If you're travelling through this Christmas break and come near Morwell, this bowls club is an absolutely wonderful place to stop and eat. Bookings on Sundays are essential.
Food and staff quality are perfect.
The new ice cream bar is really cool.

Friendly staff, warm atmosphere. However. They served the.
Kids meal so far before all the adults that my child had finished before our meals had even come out. My meal was cold and, the choc cake was dry and cheesecake hard. And they make the worst strawberry daiquiri I've ever tasted.

Food was very disappointing, please stay away from the “ice cream” bar the toppings were stale and the “ice cream “ tasted sour. The service was non existent so many staff members standing around fixing menus, talking to each other and looking miserable. I regret coming here and will not be returning

Food has been just ok on 2 visits but the service has been non existent. Forgotten entrees, forgotten rolls (not a big deal but when you put plates with butter on them, it tends to fill you with an expectation) then when asked for plates for a birthday cake these plates never arrived after 20 minutes. Bit lacklustre, I do hope they address this as the Reno (that looks great!) Comes to completion as they will only get busier.

Arrived and were seated. 6 pm entered, 7 pm had to ask for someone to take our order. Finally, now the wait for the food. Hope it is good cos I'm starving. Prompt service at the bar tho.

8 dined on Saturday lunchtime. All meals very well cooked and presented. Highly recommend the seafood selection large meal, big fish fillet plenty of chips & great salad not usual rocket bland salad. Great value for money. Staff excellent, amenities 1st class& restaurant nice and warm. Kid's meals were big also.
