Set 2 km from the M1 Princes Freeway, this relaxed pub with rooms is 2.6 km from the shops and cinema complex at Mid Valley Shopping Centre. The straightforward rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities, plus en suite bathrooms. An informal bistro-style restaurant serves classic pub food, and a casual bar shows live sports and has pool tables. Yeah the place was great and the room and bed were really good. Everything we needed for a one night stay. There was a pub just down the road so it was perfect for a feed. Car park got a little tight with quite a few cars taking all the easy car parks. All good though, I’m great at reverse parking. Yeah it’s good as

We rang to book a table and Anthony was incredible helpful with our request to be near the kids playground; even added balloons to the table as it was a birthday dinner booking!
The floor staff were friendly, in particular Hayley; her customer service was incredible!
The only downfall was the rude bar staff that evening, she was rude to not only customers but her fellow team members. (I won't name and shame her publicly but happy to be contacted in regards to the evening)
Overall I would still give the venue 5 stars because you can't let one bad egg ruin the experience!
Loved the atmosphere and will be returning!

Welcoming staff, very friendly. Lovely warm space. Food was amazing, priced well and served promptly.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first time was very good, we could not fault it. However, this last stay was a nightmare. We booked for two nights and were happy to see the up grades to the rooms, but were disgusted with the long black hair dangling from the shower door, the unwashed bathroom floor and the hairs on the sheets. This was bad enough but the walls dividing the rooms were so thin, you could hear everything going on next door. Unfortunately the neighbors were rough and loud throwing things at the wall etc and never stopped until around 2 30am. Next day we had to leave early to meet up with family, with no sleep and a long trip we returned to the hotel and discovered the roudy neighbors were still there poking their heads out and slamming their door. We decided then not to spend another sleepless night so showed the receptionist the picture of the hairs still in place even after a second housekeeping and told her about the noisy neighbors. She said sorry. Im afraid sorry didnt cut it and we wont be returning.

The personability and friendliness of the lunch time staff here is refreshing from door greeting to order taken for food and drinks to table service I'm impressed with the efficiency of the over all operations of the front of house staff. Now for the main reason I'm leaving this review the lunch time chicken ceased wrap and I say this with utmost importance is TO DIE FOR!!! The mouth watering creamy garlic sauce with every dip of the crispy golden chips, that first bite of an experience I'd wish to relieve a thousand times into the wrap literally captivated my palate from the flavour of every single content inside of its almost comforting appeal. Ill definitely be coming back here for this chicken wrap and I encourage any lover of flavours to do so to. Thank you Top Pub Morwell!

The food was very ordinary, I ordered a porterhouse steak and it was grisly, thin and looked like a budget cut from aldi. the wedges with sweet chillie and sour cream, the wedges where not crisp, and the chicken Berger my wife ordered was dry. The only thing that was ok was the kids meals, chicken nugets and chips.

Pub meal. Really good. Steak cooked as I like it. Mrs enjoyed her meal. Garlic bread was real tasty. Easy recommend.

Nicks Trivia is a great few hours out. Full of good laughs and people. Never miss a week :)

Morwell Hotel Restaurant is great value for money. The food is well made and great portions for value. Has space for kids to play and still has relaxing away for other parties to enjoy.

It was a suprise to us, but in a good way. The place was very clean and modern. Also close proximity to town makes it good option to stay in Morwell

I gave three stars as it was my first time there the service was good and the beer was cold so no worries But I did like the sports bar lot's of footy on and hopefully I can stay a bit longer I will be back. I did come back and this hotel is terrific for watching lots of different sports and the beer is still good and cold.

I found the motel room to be on a par with many of the ones I’ve stayed in throughout Australia. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and shower good. It was quite which allowed a good nights sleep. The hotels meals are average. No problems in staying again.

I came to have a meal on my own the roast was nice but as you can see alot of fat from the meat . But my bigger concern is the aggressive nasty attitude of your staff is inhospitable and uncomfortable

Had a beautiful meal! Went out for a birthday tea with family. Won at the raffle! Overall had a great night. Staff were amazing!!

Great Pub. Rooms are very comfortable and newly renovated everything you need for your stay.
Attached to the pub so very convenient.
As we arrived on Sunday night the pub was very quiet and bar shut but TJ has been very welcoming and accommodating and made sure the bar has been open during our stay.
He is an asset to this establishment with his work ethic and awsome sense of humour you couldn’t ask for anyone better.

Great place, meal was fantastic and very fast service compared to other places in Latrobe valley so I would recommend it to anyone.

Great local pub
You have everything I want.
Good menu regardless if I want to eat in the bar or bistro.
Met at the door by Troy- nice voice, delivery and service. I had the special Beef and Rib- special. It was delicious, cooked to my ideal of perfection

Great friendly service accomodating a few kids Basketball Teams for lunch over the Labour Day long weekend. Speedy service and food was really good!

Got told there would ba a half an hour wait on meals that's fine. An hour later meals arrived. Luckily they brought out the bruschetta early.

Friendly staff and centrally located. Free breakfast for that price definitely the deal breaker. No hesitation to recommend it to anybody stopping over at Morwell or even nearby towns.

Food disappointing bruschetta not much flavour, wifes calamari while tender was not cooked long enough as you could taste the raw flour, my steak (porterhouse) ordered rare came out blue no dressing on salad, I ate it which was better than being overcooked, chef left the sinew cap on, not a fan, you can do better

Excellent customer service. Amanda was very friendly and helpful on check in. Enjoyed a meal in the bistro. Staff were very attentive and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant staff who really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. This combined with the incredibly chill atmosphere of the bistro makes for an extremely pleasant casual experience. A great place to catch up with mates for lunch.
