We were in the audience for Insiders on 2 July. Great fun to watch the creation of the show. For those hard of hearing, it was a bridge too far in the room, but a catch viewing on TV means nothing was missed. The NPC auditorium is a quite intimate space. The breakfast was very nice.

We're here for a Charity Event last October and everything went well. We'd like to thank the team esp Tashi, the event manager for the providing us all the instructions we need. Great place for functions! Looking forward to play here again.

We flew from Birmingham to Syndey, then drove to Canberra for a family wedding at the Parliament Pess Club. The staff were courteous and friendly (even though we are English, just kidding guys). We spent an excellent few weeks in Australia. Then flew to New Zealand, which was again wabs excellent.

We attended a wedding reception at the Press club. Parking was easy, Access to the building is straight forward. Staff were professional and efficient. The reception area itself was beautifully set out. Plenty of space. Good lighting and acoustics. We had an excellent time and found no issues at all with the venue

The wedding dinner was held here.Exceptional service,great halal food and a lovely atmosphere, we sat till quite late as we were enjoying ourselves and did not want to leave early.

The venue was excellent. We had a private gin tasting session organised. The service was excellent and the quality of gin and cocktails offered during the tasting were excellent.
The food doesn't offer much value for money, but the location is up-scale Barton.

There is an ample bar area in the lower foyer. The downstairs meeting space, used for formal meals and speeches by VIP guests, is chic and adaptable depending on audience size. There is also an upstairs lounge and bar.

The quality of the food at this location was really poor. Helpful staff - but venue relies on its captive market! Poor parking options too…

The National Press Club is a little dated downstairs however beautiful decor upstairs. I was shocked at the prices of their drinks, $12 for a beer and $19 for a dry vermouth and dry ginger ale. Staff were a little unsure of what they were doing behind the bar. Not keen to go here for casual drinks again. Chairs are comfortable though!

The music is too loud. You have a 3 piece band using a speaker and there's no where in side to talk. You'd think having a clientele with the average age of 50 you'd clue on, especially last Friday night!

Stunning venue!!!!
I attended a wedding here last month and absolutely loved it. The food was the best I've had at any similar event! The staff were exceptionally professional and helpful.
I was so impressed that I joined the Club as a member and have been enjoying the live music every Friday night!

NPC is a hub for political, social, and economic debates. Excellent food, great functions, chilled bar. It's a go-to venue.

Nice staff. Good drinks, prices and quality is wonderful as are the selection of drinks. Food should be improved, atmosphere should be more upbeat and improved, Jazz music was not toe tapping or inspiring in any way. Management should consider what does it take to make them choose to go there, then make it like that and the crowd will surely follow

I visited for a work function. The interiors were quite lovely for small and big events. The bar staff were great and it was a cosy yet luxurious atmosphere. The food was alright but we only had canapes so I can speak on the full meals. It was a good time and I would visit again with friends/family.

Haven't been for years, but the restaurant is still excellent. Top food and the service was so very good. Thank you for the excellent service, Natalie, just wonderful.

Had my first visit to the National Press Club and really enjoyed it. Super friendly staff. Chilled atmosphere. Excellent food and all reasonably priced. It has a lovely history with great photos of past prime ministers and events lining the walls… glad we have membership…

Great venue, was there for a work dinner/presentation. Staff were an unobtrusive presence that swiftly managed the food without causing disruption in the slightest, (despite not having set placements for all the dietary requirements!!) Everything was clean, it was warm inside but not hot (very important for a cbr winter!). The food was great!

Great venue, but pricier alcohol and trending to below average food over the last couple of years in the main area. Unsure if the chef has changed or attempts to get fancy have failed. Great little bar upstairs.

Dreadful meal. The organised meal was delicious looking salmon however served with an ingredient I cannot eat. The alternative served some time later was dry pork with hard bean and seed salad. All was tasteless and inedible.

Canberra's best kept secret. The restaurant is superb and the live music on Thursday and Friday nights is a must see.
With a seasonal menu showcasing local produce, do yourself a favour and stop in for a meal.

Attended a conference dinner here. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The amenities are world class.
The salt and pepper calamari was cooked to perfection. And the steak was the best steak that I've had in a while.
The choice of alcohol could've been more diverse.
