Very cool place! Lovely and friendly team of staff, all working together to deliver their customers a nice time. Only thing I disliked was lining up in separate queues for food and drinks, is this could be fixed, would be a much more enjoyable experience without so much waiting in a queue.
The local wildlife was on display with many birds, kookaburra, king Parrots and cockies just a few! Outdoor area overlooking the river have a nice calmness about the place too. Takeaway booze options were limited but a great addition to a town with very limited retail options. The food was surprisingly really really good. The chicken salad was so fresh and well presented tenderloins tasting so good. The coating was delicious. The smokey bbq palma was a hit too, great flavour!

Unfortunately after a 1hr15min drive we were disappointed in the meals. The “garlic” sauce on the chicken was not to my liking at all and the chicken itself had a strange taste, almost sour. The fish was oily and could smell it as soon as it was put on the table, the smell made myself and others feel sick. The Parma at least was good and everyone enjoyed the chips

Took my special needs clients here for lunch and the staff were really helpful and responsive. We booked and went early at 11:30. Staff were really accommodating even allowing us to use two tables one inside one outside. We were also able to get the wheel chair in no worries with only a small step to manoeuvre. Staff also helped us giving us more gravy for us to help clients soften their food. Overall service and staff was absolutely amazing so pleased and would love definitely recommend for any day centers looking for a welcoming venue for clients (providing its not too busy). Food options were also great options and a seniors menu too.

This was the first time I'd been to this particular pub and I loved it. The ambience was great, the staff was so helpful and friendly, the food was so delicious and the views spectacular. I would recommend this pub worth the drive

So gathered at the Noojee Pub this afternoon at 1pm. We had a reserved table to celebrate two family members' birthdays.
We stood in que for an hour to order lunch once the meal was ordered. We were told it would be an hours wait after ordering.
We waited just under two hours for lunch. Then the meals were brought out over the next hour.
One person had to take their lamb cutlets lunch home in a doggy bag. Lamb cutlets don't take that long to cook and was one of the last meals brought out.
One person got served cold fish that was returned.
One person got some sort of Moroccan creamed meal with no bacon or tomatoes instead of chicken scalopini with bacon and tomatoes.
People got salad as sides when it was meant to be cooked vegetables.
Instead of bringing out multiple of the same meals, some had to wait 30 minutes or more.
Three people had to take their meals away, and no birthday cake was given out as we ran out of time.
It was freezing cold as they had the back door open, was way too crowded.
Get rid of the pool table, as there is not enough room for the people to play pool properly . People playing pool were accidentally nudging People with the pool table sticks who were waiting for or eating meals as there is not enough room to play pool, and the balls from the pool table were being hit off the table and rolling under our table. We were getting sick of retrieving the balls from with under our feet.
It seems the pub was taking on way more customers than it could cater for today, and it seems to be an ongoing issue.
Going back 9 yrs ago, if you didn't have room at the pub, you got turned away with an apology, which was fine from your business.

Really nice pub near the river. Delicious Parmas and live music. Friendly service and relaxing atmosphere definitely worth a visit we will be back :)

Really cool place, it is self service, although the staff are lovely. Had the pizza it was great.

Perfect county Pub delicious food good menu complimented by friendly staff, amazing balcony with beautiful native life tranquil environment by the Latrobe river. High recommend.

Parma was alright can find better down the road at the Toolshed came in for a late lunch may have affected the quality was just on the dry side but overall was good. Chips could of been crunchier with more salt

Love this little pub in Noojee. Big indoor area and outdoor deck which is covered. The outdoor deck is beautiful to sit on, enjoy a drink and a meal even if the weather is cold and rainy as it's covered and has heaters. The view down to the river is beautiful. Food is also yum!

It's one of my favourite places for a day trip. The drive up is full of scenic hills and views of the Vic high country. The Nooj pub is always full of activity, cold beer, and great food. The aromas in the air give you a sense of wanting to stay.

It's a hard choice on favourite, the atmosphere, service, food and location are all on point !
Just beware of the cheeky locals, they seem to love the food just as much.

Great place to relax eat nd drink with a view,can get v busy over the weekend so we always try go during weekdays,service is good.

Gorgeous pub, with a huge balcony overlooking a stunning creek and large open grass field. Perfect for a picnic post Parma and then a dip to cool off. 10/10 couldn’t recommend higher on a hot summer’s day.

FREE THE COCKATOO
This bird is a wild creature confined to a small cage, all alone. This is exceptionally cruel and as a guest at this venue it really made me uncomfortable to watch this beautiful animal bite at his cage, trying to escape. As I was leaving, I walked past the cage and the bird put his head against the cage and I scratched his head for 5 minutes. He was so desperate for company and affection. Please think about keeping animals like this as pets, it is inhumane. They are not put on earth to be alone and confined.

Enjoyable bike ride with a visit to Noojee pub for lunch. Very busy day , popular venue. Very nice setting and comfortable, unfortunately due to the volume of people are meals came out at different times which was unfortunate. Otherwise food was Enjoyable. Worth the visit

Dogs are welcome! Noojee Pub is in the most stunning location. Set amongst the ferns and eucalyptus trees, on the river and in the company of Kookaburras, this pub has everything. My husband and I were driving through and we're unsure if we would be able to sit and eat with our dog but we're happy to find out there are two eating areas outside. And plenty of vegetarian options. Highly recommend!

Definitely the place to go if you visit or drive past beautiful Noojee. Dingo and staff will ensure that the atmosphere and food are fantastic for the lovely locals and visitors from near and far, and make the experience extra special every time. The trout tapas is the bomb, as well as the parmas. I’m trying to work myself through the whole menu eventually. I’d recommend booking on weekends and public holidays as it gets pretty busy and you may see yourself waiting in line for a while to order and get your food, but totally worth it in my humble opinion. Highly recommended!👍🏻

Beautiful place for a potentially nice quiet relaxing lunch.
My family and I went for a nice relaxing family meal, well that’s what we were hoping for but that was far from what we got.
We were in the dining area on the back deck and you could hardly hear yourself think because they had a guitar guy singing and playing so loud blasting our ear drums. We had to yell so we could hear each other. Even the wait staff were yelling to be heard.
Mate it’s a dining area not a band room. You aren’t some big star that people come to listen to. Turn your music down. Just play nicely in the background. Please.
We ordered 6 meals. After waiting longer than normal the 1st meal came out.
Waited 20 more minutes for the next 4 meals to arrive. Then another 20 minutes for the final meal.
And the waiter I asked twice when’s the next meal and he was very annoyed at me for asking.
Really?
Very disappointing that we couldn’t all eat together.
The food was very average and one meal my daughter couldn’t eat because it was so overcooked.
We ordered 2 jugs of soft drinks. Even the drinks were crap. Surely it’s not hard to get the syrup/soda water ratio correct, or is that too much to ask ?
I had been warned by locals to stay away from this place. I should have listened.
A very disappointing experience.
We won’t be back.

Beautiful old heritage building nestled amongst the forest. Sit out the back and watch the kookaburras swoop between the trees and ferns and listen to creek that runs along the bottom of the grassy knoll that runs off the back of the terrace. Also this place is dog friendly which is a huge plus!

Beautiful location and great service with excellent food. Try their buffalo pizza. It's amazing. We visited this place number of times and they never dispointed us.

Amazing place and very beautiful view at the back. Very relaxing place and nice people working there. Good pub food. We loved fish and chips. Good selection of pizz. We will come back soon ♥️

Very average food and huge wait times.
I won’t be returning and there are plenty of beautiful river towns where I can get great food.

Absolutely stunning location u can walk down to the river while your food is getting freshly cooked .Parmas are delicious I don't usually eat that often.. Smoked trout pizza was very tasty too.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Noojee Hotel! The pub meals were top-notch. The atmosphere was inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal or gathering with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly, making sure the visit felt like a special occasion. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and a wonderful atmosphere!
