Went for lunch with my partner and ordered schnitzel with vegetables. The schnitzel was overcooked and dry. The vegetables had all been boiled in the pot at the same time so the zucchini was mush and the cauliflower was crunchy. There was so much water on the plate I had to use a couple of napkins to mop it up. The corn was half rotten and the carrot still had dirt on it. My partner had steak which was ok but the rest of his meal was not up to scratch either. When brought to the manager’s attention, we got offered free drinks or an extra side, but under no circumstances were we going to get a discount or partial refund. We basically paid over $70 for absolute rubbish and we didn’t even eat half our meals. Also, there is no table service, they use a QR code for orders but then ask you for a tip - the irony! Pictures of overcooked chicken and rotten corn cob on sopping wet napkins for proof.

Well what do I say. The steak was nice the potato was dry the chips look like they were the last lot out of the bag and were full of oil. Super crunchy and slimmy.
I ordered a 1/2 Strength Decaf Cappuccino skinny milk. It came out so strong it was discussing to the point I had to add a whole pot of hot milk and an extra equal to help make it drinkable.
My partners meal was also over cooked and her corn was old and carrot still dirty. I cannot recommend this establishment at all and as they do a card pay at the table they cannot and will not give you any type of credit they only offer you some extra drinks for extra side dishes after you've had your meal and by then you don't want anything else. I'm a great Believer if they can't get it right the first time then the second time won't be any better.
If you are thinking of going to this place for lunch I would suggest you go somewhere else and hopefully get better value for money with nicer food.

We had a table booked for 7 and was given a table for 5, then after bringing it to their attention was told to just use extra chairs.
The food, when it arrived at the table was cold. Not just the steaks but the burgers and fish as well. Cauliflower and carrots were raw!!! I could see the plates on the service counter under the "heat lamps" for at least 5 mins before the waitress brought them to the table.
Post meal, the table wasn't cleared until we had stacked the plates at the end of the table. They sat there for at least 10 mins whilst the waitress on floor sorted cutlery. (We noticed this was the case on other tables too). Unfortunately for the staff, it looks like they haven't been trained on what is a priority on the floor in a restaurant.
All in all it was not a very good experience, and especially not worth the money that was spent on the meal.
Very disappointing.

Took my bestie for a birthday lunch at the tavern today. Had the best customer service from SAM who recommended her favourite dish from the lunch menu when I asked for her opinion. Lunch was fantastic we had the fish and salad and calamari. I Hope the management at North lakes tavern appreciate the dedication to service and detail that Sam provided. Great day out.

This place was an unexpected surprise! Although it is a Tavern with a standard pub menu, the food was spectacular! Well worth a try! We will definitely be back!

The Tavern is my fav place to go!! The food and drinks are delicious!! The vibes are TO DIE FOR!! Dinner with the girls is always so fun! And I just wanted to shout out the most gorgeous waitress, she has served me a couple times, her name is Amy, she's so unbelievably sweet and attentive. Love seeing her bright face light up the entire place, the service is unbeatable!! Keep up the amazing work Amy!! Highly highly recommend to everyone!

The food took 45 minutes to get to us. We got our entree, the first one in 35 minutes and that’s before I had to remind them. No water although asked for it (table at counter and had to remind them). Steak burger was extremely burnt that we literally could not eat it because it was very hard, it was like eating charcoal and didn’t ask how the meat should be done: you know medium or medium to well done etc
Customer service was ok not extraordinary. Was our first time here we won’t be coming back.

Not bad at all. Can see how it's a perfect central location to meet with friends or family. Food choices typical for pub style. Enjoyable! Stand out was the chicken parmy. Steak ok but could've been hotter. Braised pork sandwich pleasant. Just losing its personal service with the online ordering concept but not uncommon nowadays. Overall, not a bad place to chill and watch the vibe of people walking past.

Nice venue. Good food options. Friendly staff and in a good spot in the shopping centre.
I had the pumpkin and beetroot salad with chicken, absolutely beautiful. Fresh and tasty. Definitely recommend it.

I love coming to the North Lakes Tavern, Alicia is the most amazing bar waitress, remembers your name, your drinks and has such a positive and kind spirit. The food here is always the BEST and the drinks are so much cheaper than in Brisbane Pubs, recommend this place 100%

I come here specifically for the Guinness. 9 times out of 10 it’s stunning. Just depends on the pour but most of the staff know how it should be done.
Today’s pint was 10/10 and the nicest I’ve ever had here. I’m originally from within a few hundred metres from the Guinness brewery in Dublin so I’m a little tough on standards but as Australia goes, North Lakes Tavern is up there with the best when it comes to the black stuff. (I didn’t have any food so can’t rate it).

Haven’t been for a few years now and the renovations are great. Staff were super friendly as always in assisting finding a table to eat. Arancini was perfect

Hands down one of the more enjoyable atmosphere's for lunch and the food and service were spot on. Definately will be going back.

Great place to bring the family too. Food was exceptional and the staff were extremely friendly. Loved the experience shout out to Nik,Charlie and Britany for making me feel like a king 🤴

Great food. Affordable and generous serving portion. Staff are very hospitable and it’s a lovely environment to have dinner at. Nik provided great service at my table.

Good spot to get your counter meal fix if you're out shopping.
I had the king chicken avo palmy with chips, salad and gravy and I tell you what it was certainly a good feed. When I'm back at Westfield I would undoubtedly go back for round 2. My wife had the chicken and haloumi sandwich, however they forgot the haloumi, so basically a chicken sandwich and despite that oversight she still enjoyed her meal. One might be thinking, why didn't you ask for your order to be corrected?? Well we have a 3 month old and any window to eat is taken advantage of and not wasted on petty complaints.
Pretty standard establishment. It's a pub, it doesn't need to be pretty, as long as it has good grub and a good selection of drinks to wash it down.

Good food at a reasonable prices … but only use the menu app to order the food … buy your drinks at the bar , as the staff are not trained to check drink orders printout regularly… I received my drinks at the same time I received my meal … not ideal.

Friendly and helpful staff. Had to request for our table to be cleaned, but received apologies. Large portions. Chips were crispy and hot. Medium rare steak requested but was overcooked. Powerbowl was prepared very healthy, no oil, salt etc, but was disappointing due to lack of taste and steamed sweet potato instead of roasted like the menu said. Adult drinks are good. Kids said that their cocktails just tasted like juice, so not worth the price tag on those.

Found this place completely by accident after a Costco trip. Food was amazing, icy cold beers, great location and easy parking. Only downside was the younger girl on staff who just seemed very put upon, and generally fed up. Will be back though.

Food was delicious, generous servings and well presented. We really enjoyed our dinner there with family and the children enjoyed their food so much, dinner was quiet and the adults could enjoy themselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, service was fast (we were eating early) and our entire experience very positive. Prices are on par with other similar establishments. North Lakes Tavern is well located with off street parking in the Westfield shopping centre near Dan Murphys. I would highly recommend a visit.

A great little tavern that's quite cozy and inviting.
The food is quality pub style dishes with fair portion sizes that leave you feeling full.
Service was friendly and typical, exactly what you'd need from a tavern without anymore.
The venue was done up quite nicely and felt very welcoming, they even have board games set to the side for anyone to enjoy while they eat

Could not fault North Lakes Tavern the service was excellent,.
Went with a party of 12, was so impressed the meals were delivered so quickly, they tasted amazing and all the ordered were correct.
All the employees were so friendly, open and accommodating to our needs.
Big shout out to Tahnee for her customer service, will definitely be back again soon.

Convenient tavern to visit as it's right at the North Lakes shopping center. Decent prices for their meals and drinks too. They have an okay range of food, but I'm sure most people will find something they like here. We got the avocado schnitzel, and fish and chips. Was pretty nice. We'd been here before and will come again.

Back again for another round!
Decided on a steak burger and for a lighter meal .. still filling . Steak was tender and the the egg and bacon were great ( there was salad)
The staff all came and checked how things were and were very pleasant . Great place for dinner and beers 👍👍

Always love a classic pub feed, my food came out promptly and was fantastic. The service was awesome and Nik was so helpful and I felt very cared for. I think I came during a quiet period but the atmosphere was very comfortable.
