Was a good place for a drink and watching sports about 4 years ago but has declined rapidly. Barman Chris is overtly abrupt and has no place in the hospitality field. And having to listen to the drunken locals while trying to enjoy sports on the TV is insufferable.

This place is a bit nuts, in a fun way.
It's a typical club: it's got a pokie room, a sports screen, a bar, and a bistro. But it's filled with a bizarre mix of things from the around the world. As you move from bar to bistro you're greeted by the best example of this: a classic Roman-styled mantlepiece frame, with a coloured piece of glass depicting Chinese-styled fish embedded in it, topped by a faux-Roman statue of a woman, a sculpture of a warthog and its baby, a porcelain shar-pei with a "Welcome" sign around its neck, beside a tall vase of brightly coloured flowers. It's full on.
The room beyond continues this mish-mash of styles, and not only in decoration. The bistro menu, too, is about 200 items long, with all sorts of Asian and Australian dishes. My table's choices turned out to be fairly average, but at $12 for nearly everything and massive portions they were, at least, filling.
Go for lunch during the week as we did and you're likely to be the only one here under 60; it seems a popular spot for lunching pensioners.
It gets 3 stars instead of 2 because of the kitschy entertainment value.

This club is basically a sub branch of North Ryde RSL.
There are some good things on offer at the club like $10 on your card to spend in the club on both Australia Day and Anzac Day, 10% members discount on drinks, meat tray raffles twice a week, and an amazing restaurant WINGS.
There are some not so good things - the Keno TV in the Terrace Bar went on the blitz prior to the cessation of the analogue signal. Last Friday night the Keno TV in the main bar above the large screen TV was on the blitz. The machine where members swipe their cards has been out of order for quite a while now.
What I do like about this club is that it is an oasis in a city like Sydney, where when you go there you know everyone and everyone knows you. It like being a member of your own little NSW country club. This club has personality and charm of it's own.

The place is over expensive and the chick was burnt so much you could smell it from the other side of the room. Truly the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve been to so far

The little local that has all the charm. Typical australian Rugby club with old Rugby memorabilia. Iconic local Rugby field known as T.J. Milne as the backdrop and a Chinese restaurant inside. 10/10 would recommend

The food here is very highly priced (average ~$20) and not very good.

The ambiance is amazing: very comfortable and warm. The food is not worth the price but it's alright. They have an awesome viewing area as well.

Still the best place to watch a rugby game in Sydney. Can still get Old on tap and the restaurant food is very good.

Owner might be ‘friendly’ but food is absolutely terrible. Ordered $150 worth of food but went home hungry. Almost threw up after having the snapper they recommended. Go to NR RSL, the proper one! Not the Eastwood one!!

Old school sporting club with heaps of atmosphere. It’ll be a tragedy when the developers finally sink their teeth into the place. Go and enjoy a beer and a cheap Chinese feed there while you still can.

Kids run amok on the field while you sit, eat and drink. Sounds like a plan. 'Wings' restaurant serves average Chinese/Aussie food in absolutely MASSIVE serving sizes for a fair price. All in all, a good time.

I love this club because it is unrenovated and unpretentious. All staff are very friendly and the restaurant has great Australian meals and Chinese meals. Very family friendly. Very good value.

Great place to sit and have a beer! Kids can have a run on the field and there's even a restaurant there.

Great food and sports bar. Unfortunately the restaurant is poorly laid out and was very noisy due to the kids play zone being right there in your face. Kids have free reign and run around between tables. Id recommend picking up your meal and taking it to the sports bar.

Go the Mongo! That's Mongolian Lamb - although I prefer the beef.
It's a typical "Club" atmosphere although has very few pokies which I think is a good thing.
To be honest, the decor is a little aged but it's never bothered me.
The food is good, the staff are always really friendly. Cheep beer, you can't go wrong really.

Food was overpriced, tasted horrible at Riverview Restaurant. Wings were terrible, tasteless and my wife ordered a Thai salad the chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Great location but if you want a good meal, please go elsewhere.

Caters for the older members of society with Western-style Chinese food, lambs fry and crumbed brains, not to mention bingo. Some reasonably priced food, but the area isn't spoiled for choice.
