We have lunch here every Tuesday for the $15 parmigiana, just because it's Melbourne Cup Day the lunch specials changed and doubled in price, what a gouge.

This place was amazing! We stopped in while driving from Newcastle to Sydney and were really impressed- the menu was well marked with a super broad range of gluten free options (a pleasant surprise), plus the food tasted amazing and was really well priced. We will definitely be using this as a regular dinner spot when driving north!

Staff are really friendly and chatty. A wide mix of people you will see - groups, couples, families, etc. Food is top.

Really disappointed tonight, have moved from Sydney and visited several times last year and have enjoyed our food every time. I’m unsure if they’ve changed the chefs this year but they’ve definitely taken things off the menu. My steak was not medium rare and just taste like burnt charcoal, salad was just a few leaves no tomato/cucumber. The food was just not impressive at all compared to pubs in Sydney. Will not be coming back

Look, the food is nice and well priced but the restaurant doesn't flow and feels cramped and outdated. I know it's a pub and the restaurant isnt the focus but it could do with a freshen up.

I went there for my great grandson's birthday dinner. The food was lovely and all the staff were lovely as well we all had a great night ❤️

If I could give more stars I would. My family and I just had lunch here, the food was amazing but our experience and the staff made our day. My son has autism and was having a rough day but we had to stop for lunch. He had a meltdown while we were waiting for our meals. The staff reassured us endlessly, ensuring we didn’t feel embarrassed. They offered to turn down the music, they fast tracked our meals and they were so friendly. I really can’t thank the ladies that were on today in the restaurant enough. The patrons in the restaurant were also understanding. We don’t eat out often so to have the understanding we received today was exceptional. Thank you again, we’ll definitely be back 😊

Hi guys im a local & think the staff are fantastic the food is great the venue its self is getting a little run down. We was there today & of course we use the men's toilets & for the last two months we was down to two out of 3 hand basin to wash our hands in & now we are down to one .so as a thinker I ask the young girl/ lady who served / attended to our request for another beverage with a question do you have a form to notify management of a problem with the venue she no what's wrong & I said one hand basin has been out for over two months & now another is not working with no care in the world she just walked away on her return I said won't be long before we are washing our hands in the toilet water she well we can't have that .wow .look forward to your reply on this very soon .kind regards rod

Had this Tavern recommended but unfortunately for us was not a good experience. My medium rib fillet steak was way over and dry because it wasn't a thick cut 300g. Because you pay through a digital waiter the interaction with staff is minimal and after waiting a while for staff to collect our plates to mention the disappointment in what we paid for, no one comes near us. Atmosphere was good for drinks but we won't be going back in a hurry for meals.

Great tavern,, staff very friendly,, betting available, large variety of cold beers and other liquid drinks,,, plenty open space to seat,, family oriented,, good parking but can get a bit crowded,, bistro very clean looking,, very good meals,,large servings,, next door liquor sales with the large selection of take away beverages,, wines,, beers and just about any thing for a good night in,, see you there

Great pub, inclosed kids play ground is a win. Food is decently priced and a good feed as well.

Great little local tavern, pool table, tab facility, gaming room, always something happening. The tavern also has a bistro second to none, food always delivered hot and fresh. With plenty of parking and a courtesy bus to help you get home. Right next door is first choice liquor for all your take away needs. Opposite the tavern is Coles and various shops

Food is awesome and well priced as well. Would recommend making a booking as can be pretty busy at times. The steak sandwich and the fish tacos are awesome. The staff are great and friendly as well. Despite the negative perception around the location of the pub it's actually really good and I have never seen any problems or drama when we have been here for dinner and drinks. Give it a go, and you may be impressed!

Choose this place for dinner as the online menu says vegan options are available. Got there and despite the in- house menu having a legend key for vegan options, nothing on the menu is actually vegan (2 salads can be made vegan but no substitute of ingredients, they just remove the cheese and meat).
Good service on the night we went and everyone's food was filling. Just perhaps get a vegan option or remove the advertising of vegan meals.

Been going to the tavern for 12 plus years and always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Of late we have been opting to go elsewhere due to the repetitive menu that never changes, even the specials board remains the same week after week. The salad is lettuce and dressing nothing else which is very disappointing. Would love to see an improvement in the side salads and a change in menu occasionally so we can return.
