We were more than surprised how amazing this hotel was from the moment we opened the door. And then I saw the washer and dryer and was elated. Clean. Quiet. Comfy. Really can’t give it a higher score. Easy check in & out, great staff. Onsite restaurant with great food and service. Can’t get any better. Not upscale luxury, but absolutely no complaints.

We stayed here for one night in order to catch Heron Island Ferry next morning since it's only 3 mins drive from the Marina. The room is quite spacious, and the service is great. Surprisingly, the food at the cafe is quite good and it opens early in the morning which is fantastic.

Welcomed on arrival. Staff are professional and available for assistance. Restaurant is within building and room service had food arrive hot. The room is well designed. Location fantastic for walking and close to shopping. Balcony room with good views.

We had a few issues with the room such as the fire alarm buzzing and alarming for two days which was really prominent when it was sleep time, this caused a big inconvenience (an alternative room was offered but it had the same issue so we had to wait for it to be fixed, which took two attempts), the hot water failed on day one (it got fixed) and the shower seemed to leak into the rest of the bathroom. The air conditioning also failed on the day of checkout! Most of the staff were polite and helpfu, albeit one staff member was very passive-aggressive and then became outright rude to us. Aside from that, the rooms were modern and you don't get noise from the outside. The pool is shaded by the building and whilst not large or deep, does the job as long as it isn't busy. There is limited pool seating. The hotel is in a good location and also offers free secure parking which is a plus and a restaurant and coffee shop is easy to access from the second floor.

Very good place to stay with modern up-to-date rooms, attached to a coffee shop and bar restaurant with very good value meals. Highly recommended if you're doing business in Gladstone.

Very clean rooms, close to downtown Gladstone. You can walk to the shops.||Staff very friendly and helpful.||Bed was super comfy.

The rooms were very clean and well-appointed, we could even keep a few grocery items as there is a kitchenette in each room. The Hotel is very centrally located and easy to access, we had a great view of the harbour which looked amazing at night.

The restaurant oak and vine will not disappoint. The food is excellent and the service is first rate. Attention to detail with food and the service you get is great. Highly recommend this place, so much so back for the second night in a row.

Second time I have stayed. Fantastic staff, super friendly and welcoming. Great location. Bed and pillows VERY comfortable, I really like the rooms as spacious n modern, and a great view of Gladstone.

Really surprise to find the Oaks in Gladstone - great location great size rooms big comfortable bed||great mini kitchen - north side rooms are great for watching the sunset

Pretty happy with our stay. Bed was very comfy and the kitchenette was great. The noisy cars and bikes could he heard through the glass doors but thankfully, it was mostly quiet at night. Not much happening in that end of town though.. not much happening in the town at all really.

Perfect location in the city centre of Gladstone. It was close to all major amenities. The only negative comment I have is the reception we received. The lack of information provided such information about the hotel like pool, car parking gym. It would have sufficed if they mentioned that any information can be accessed on the TV in the room. We only found out later in the evening because there were no pamphlets about the area for visitors etc. The receptionist went straight to the payment of our stay. We were quite blown away by the size of the room. The room was pretty spacious and fully furnished with washing machine, iron and ironing board, dryer, nice comfy bed, a fully functional kitchen with basic utensils ,lounge chair, dining table and chairs, a large refrigerator, toaster, microwave and your own balcony . The pool area is okay, and there is a mini gym available. There is also a restaurant available. Overall, we have a wonderful time at this place. 🎊🎊🎊

Nice Hotel got everything very clean good rates highly recommended did not try the food but I had everything in the room including washer dryer microwave excellent.

Lovely hotel and staff, very friendly and welcoming. Room was an excellent size and bed very comfy. A bad smell from the toilet, but closing the door prevented it from coming into the room.

The rooms are well-appointed.
Hard to fault the rooms.
The service at the restaurant has room for improvement.

It was a great stay. Room was up to the standards and clean with all the facilities. ||Easy to access. Friendly staff. ||||Would have provided some quality tea/coffee in the room and also mineral water.

I really like staying at Oaks. Working as a FIFO it is a nice place to stay Medium to long term. I just wish they would fix one of the three lifts. It has been difficult to checkout in the Friday morning rush.

Great location, friendly staff but the the corner rooms are so jammed up you can't use the sofa or coffee table.

Found the advertising for this place slightly deceptive - the one bedroom apartments are exactly the same size floor-plate as the studios except with a partition installed to create the ‘bedroom’ so don’t expect the separation of spaces, privacy and general space that you would from a proper one bedder with proper walls.
Pool is much smaller and unimpressive when compared to the hotels bright blue promotional photos.
Apart from that it is reasonable value for money - clean rooms with awesome views from the balconies. Free parking and cafe and pub right downstairs which is really convenient for food. Great location right in the centre of town. If you’re looking for something mid-range and good value this is the place.

Everything from reservation, check in, room to check out was perfect. Bed very comfortable.||Only down in winter was no heating in room

Centrally located in Gladstone with big rooms at a good price. We'll definitely come back here next time we're in town.

By far the best accommodation we stayed in on our North Queensland trip. We stayed twice in two weeks. Both times staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless clean and perfect for both of our overnight stays. Highly recommend.
