About Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa
Airy suites with balconies, some offering bay views, plus 2 pools, a spa & a restaurant/bar. Across from Hervey Bay, this upscale resort is 10 minutes' walk from Urangan Beach and 3 minutes' walk from the 868 m-long Urangan Pier. State Route 57 is 2 km away. The airy 1- to 3-bedroom suites feature kitchens, furnished balconies or patios, and whirlpool tubs. They also offer washer/dryers, flat-screens and free Wi-Fi, plus room service. Some feature bay views, and refined penthouses have rooftop terraces, some with hot tubs. In-room massages are also available. Parking is free. Amenities include a cafe and a restaurant/bar with views of the Urangan Pier, along with a gym, a spa and 2 outdoor pools (1 heated). Babysitting is available.

Yes, 5 Stars! Great location to explore Frasier Island, enjoy beaches and for us an overnight stop on our way to Lady Elliot Island. The resort is beautiful, well maintained and the LARGE suites are gorgeous.

We have stayed here before and are sad to say the the rooms need attention for the price. broken items and need a deep clean.||Staff were great and the location and restaurants downstairs were fab. ||Heated pool was very enjoyable.

Very nice for a one night stop. Clean tidy. Great dinner from the restaurant. Service was a bit slow, but being a Monday night, it appears the roster clerk didn't put another staff member on. If you're fully booked, in the accommodation, wouldn't you have the staff on, & if necessary, send them home. Appeared to be a senior staff member telling the younger staff what to do, but the staff knew what to do, & appeared very professional in what they were doing & how they were doing it. Given that they were pretty busy .

The wife and my self stayed one night price was $ 326 way to high for what was available on site no Breakfast. To be honest we will not book again

The apartment was great! Only a few minor things to be addressed ~ there were heaps of little ants in the kitchen (you move the toaster and millions of them would scatter), there’s no aircon in the second bedroom and the wifi lags (this honestly didn’t upset me, the kids got annoyed with it!). The gym is incredibly dated and most machines were out of order. The staff were amazing, very helpful people. The location could t be better, central to everything.
We did unfortunately have someone got thru the car and steal some fishing gear there. We weren’t able to get our larger 4WD ute in the guest parking area so this did happen on the other side of the electric gate. A real shame and a horrible way for our holiday to end it was the birthday gift we’d just given our son.

Such amazing service, always with a smile, warm and welcoming. It was fantastic to be greated by Leigh. Thank you Leigh you made our short stay so welcoming and we will definitely be back.

Steer clear of this resort it’s dirty old fashioned it so needs a massive spring clean however if it’s a great pool you want then this will perhaps make up for the dirty state or the resort it truly is a lovely area and well maintained another bonus plenty of underground parking including disabled

Staff friendly.| Prices need to be bought down, it’s definitely not what you pay for unfortunately. |Very dated rooms, needed a really good clean. The apartment wasn’t cleaned once during my stay, had to ask for fresh towels for the 5 days. Needed to take my own rubbish out, although it’s not titled anywhere where the bin shoot is. |Lounges are uncomfortable and have stains on them. And WIFI is shocking, I had no reception either in the actual bedroom. |View of Hervey bag is beautiful, and the heated pool is great. |Some possible block out curtains too? As the bedroom didn’t have a proper door, the sun shone right through at 6 every morning.

Spacious Rooms & Nice Pool, But Housekeeping Needs Improvement
The rooms at Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa were spacious and comfortable. The pool area was lovely, and the in-room dining service was convenient. However, I was disappointed with the lack of housekeeping service during my five-night stay.
While I appreciate the potential cost savings associated with limited housekeeping, it wasn't ideal for a resort stay. Having to request fresh towels and toiletries, as well as manage bin liners and waste disposal, felt more like an Airbnb experience than a resort. A housekeeping service, even every 2-3 days, would have greatly enhanced the feeling of relaxation and convenience expected at a resort.
Overall, the property itself has good qualities, but the housekeeping policy needs improvement to meet resort standards.

Our stay was an anniversary celebration. We were kindly upgraded to a lovely room with a big balcony and gorgeous view. Generously, there was a lovely hand-written card, a bottle of wine and some chocolate.
The bed was extremely comfortable and we had great sleeps. The view was gorgeous.
While there, the pool was closed for renovations, but we were contacted immediately after booking to inform us of this, which was appreciated.
Great location, convenient underground parking and a decent restaurant/bar on site.

Oaks Hervey Bay has a special place in my heart as my go-to spot, but it's not without its quirks. The furnishings have seen better days, and there's no denying that maintenance is a constant presence. However, I can't help but hope that they can regain its former glory!
In its prime, Oaks Hervey Bay was the best, offering an unforgettable experience. The location is still fantastic, and the potential is there. With a little TLC and some updates, this place could easily regain its spark and shine even brighter.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it gets the attention it deserves. After all, a familiar spot like this one can feel like a second home, and it would be wonderful to see it return to its former glory. Here's to hoping for a resurgence of the best of Oaks Hervey Bay! 🌟🏨🤞

Loved our stay at the Oaks Hervey Bay. The room we stayed in was huge with a fabulous view of the bay and the pier. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, there was everything you needed for an overnight or a week long stay. The team was great and we always felt welcomed. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Large room well equipped, We had balcony and sea view which was impressive. We had all the facilities we needed and the only negative is the hotel is a bit tired and needs a refurb. However would definitely stay here again.

In addition, the sound insulation of the room is so poor that the sound of children walking upstairs can be heard. And the widest experience is that At 6:00 a.m., the alarm system rang for no reason, making us unable to sleep. The child finally endured it, and the second time it rang again for no reason. No explanation, no apology!

Great spot to stay and enjoy what Hervey Bay has to offer. Right across from Urangan Pier and markets with so much to see and do. Pool was fabulous and other facilities were also great and staff were super helpful and friendly AAA+++ Highly recommend!

Great location, room was good - bed and pillows very comfortable and access to the pool. We were in a ground floor apartment. Dinner and Breakfast were good value and nice food.
Only issue was that WiFi was so slow I gave up and mobile signal is so bad in the venue that it burned through my battery.
Would be food if you can fix the WiFi

Great location and nice sized rooms. The noise from the pool area does travel up onto your balcony area and no room service options other than go next door to the cafe (which was excellent) or the restaurant for dinner which was also good. WiFi was so poor and they said they were upgrading and I saw other guests complain so heads up if you need to work remotely perhaps call ahead to see if this has been resolved.

Great location, 10 minutes walk to the shops. Apartment for five ladies was efficient enough. All the amenities available you need. Friendly front office staff, helped us when needed.
Definitely stay there again. 😀👍

Good location, rooms are tidy and clean, a little dated and needs bit of touching up (the fridge looked a bit bashed about, and the bathroom door was in need of repair) but the most disappointing thing was the gym. The location was odd, underground at back of the car park in a tiny room , and the fact that most of the equipment was broken is disappointing. Two of the reasons why we booked there was the parking, secure and free, and the gym. As it was raining the gym would have been handy, but a run along the promenade had to do

Generally clean well presented. Friendly staff. After my first nights sleep, I noticed the fan in the front room sounded like a freight train. So I put up with it. And headed down to reception the next morning and reported it. I heard nothing for the day .when I returned from my fishing chapter I headed to the room and tried the fan. Still the same . I called reception and advised the fan is still the same not fixed. She said the electrican advised the fan stuffed. I asked her , so you think ot would have been nice to let me know. Look at the time I am not repacking all Our suites cases not at hour. So I.put up with it for the remainder of our stay. I thought you know I am coming for another fishing charter in April I will ask for a good will price. Folks I emailed ceo what a waste of time . It's all about money money no customer service. They have lost me as a customer I will head down the road.Clearly the Ceo needs training in customer service very poor

From the time you check in and then check out with all staffing levels you are treated with respect and cheerful greetings, presentation is above standard and rooms are well presented.Highly recommend this complex for your next stay and visit the restaurants that are on the front of the resort.

Everything was just right for us, the staff, the room, the view, the cleanliness, the high standard of maintenance at the resort overall. Walking distance to everything that we wanted to see and do. Very good, Bar & Grill and Cafe kept us well fed with food to a high standard.

Come on guys lift your game! that’s mould growing in your bathroom spa bath.
Check in service was poor, not welcoming at all.
Great location and but let down by check in service and cleanliness of the couches stained/dusty and the bathroom mould.
Just have to add that the two ladies who checked us out were lovely

Booked the penthouse for our wedding party, was perfect for our needs and multiple guests, the staff were very helpful and accommodating while switching rooms and with early/late checkouts, we forgot/left behind some items and they contacted us quickly to collect

A fabulous dog friendly pub. Great food and friendly staff. Well priced drinks and happy hour. I visited a few times during my stay at Hervey Bay
