Wow! By far the best service I have received. Adrian, went above and beyond. Our function at The Olympic was amazing! The food was delicious, generous and allergy friendly. We are still smiling as we had the best night! Thank you Adrian and staff for the a beautiful and memorable night. It was truly perfect!

We held our son’s Communion along with some other families from our school and we had a seamless, stress free and well put together function run perfectly by Adrian Schiavello the Events Manager at the Olympic Hotel. The quality and quantities - (especially important for European families and guests) of the food was next level. In the lead up, Adrian was helpful and no request was too hard. We all walked away with so many compliments on how great our function was. Thank you to Adrian and staff! We’ll see you again in a couple of years for the confirmations!

We held our son’s 21st birthday in the Silver Room Saturday night. What a fantastic evening we all had. The food was great and plentiful and the service was fantastic. Adrian was a pleasure to work with and we thank him for his advice and guidance through out the whole process. He made sure everything ran smoothly on the night and was available for anything we needed. Highly recommend if you are looking for a venue for a function

We held our son's 21st birthday in the 31 Below function room. The food was plentiful and delicious and the service was amazing. Adrian was wonderful from the beginning to the end. Even Daniel, the security guard was great with the boys. Our guests had a wonderful time and loved the venue. I highly recommend this venue, look no further!

We held my husband’s 80th Birthday in the Silver room on Boxing Day. We cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from Adrian from the initial booking right up to the special day., nothing was too much trouble. The guests all commented on the delicious meals and service which was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the Olympic Hotel for any function. Thanks for a great experience Adrian 🙂

We enjoyed our night here. We came for the trivia night which is a lot of fun, although the guys who won seemed to be cheating off the internet. It didn’t spoil a nice night though. This is a no pretence pub and it’s old fashioned in a good way. My lamb roast was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced, a rarity these days at pubs. It had generous serves of meat and veggies. My wife enjoyed her Chicken Parma and chips too. The only downside was that the wines available where we were were pretty ordinary. The staff were all nice and they did their jobs well. This is a fun good value night. We will definitely return.

We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday with family and friends in the Bronze room on the weekend. Had approx 85 people. The room was perfect! Staff were very friendly and did a wonderful job. Adrian was fantastic, very down to earth and great person all round, made everything easy. Recommended Dj was great also.
Overall a great night and all went extremely well.

We celebrated my sons 18th birthday in the bronze room upstairs. Adrian the events manager was amazing to deal with made the room look great .Thank you Adrian and the staff at the Olympic Hotel. It was a memorable evening, my family and I were able to enjoy & celebrate the occasion the bar staff we impeccable ,waiters were prompt & efficient with serving food, fantastic menu selection and DJ Joe had us all up dancing.Definetly recommend this venue for your next function.

The steak at Olympic were wonderful as usual. The staff this time went above and beyond in helping to celebrate a birthday. Special thank you to Meredith, Anne and Maria in the bistro and the staff at reception this afternoon!

the Olympic hotel is full of super conscientious staff..we've been going there for decades & *always*have a relaxing happy experience..Adrian is a recent addition that puts the cherry on the top...when it comes to functions he is so caring and welcoming & just wants to do more than you want to ask to keep you smiling..the olympic is also a safe place that insures patrons are respectful , no out of control or dangerous behaviour ..it's a lovely respite for us in a world of much challenges for mental health... interestingly in an honest theme other patrons openly say the same...thank you Adrian & every single staff member for wearing your heart & integrity on your sleeves... love from Mona & Michael.🌻🌻😊😊

Second time at the Olympic for Friday night meal. So I guess that might be saying something. Pleasant staff and pretty big layout. Fairly roomy and plenty of screens if you want to checkout sports/events.
Started this evening shared entrée of the Lemon Pepper Calamari that we thought was pretty good. (Sorry no photos, were to hungry that night) Very nice taste and balance. Not chewy and flavours were good.
Main meals - Chicken Parma with salad and Chips. Porterhouse with Garlic Butter- salad and Chips.
Porter house was cooked as requested, Salad and Chips stock Pub. Taste for Porterhouse must have been good as it was polished off.
Chicken Parma was what I consider stock Pub size, and Salad and Chips same. Taste was good without been over the top.
Drinks - Lemon Lime and Bitters was in a very generous size glass that went down a treat. Corona was Corona-What can be said.
Overall good night out for a Pub meal in the North.

Performed a DJ gig here recently and loved the atmosphere and Gold and silver room spectacular setting. Staff were friendly and food was delicious. Thanks Olympic Hotel. 😊 Lots of parking around the corner in a dedicated hotel parking lot.

My friends and I attended the Santana Soul Sacrifice performance 0n 31/05/2024 and Adrian, really looked after us on the night with great seating. We also found the staff were very friendly and helpful and we all had a great time. The food was excellent and we did pass on our complimens to the kitchen staff.

I would recommend Olympic Hotel to anyone who is looking for a place that offers absolutely everything. Professional staff, amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and great support. We can't thank Adrian enough for the support and professionalism he displayed whilst planning our daughter's 18th birthday. Thanks Adrian, you're a gem.

I usually dine here with my elderly father once or twice a week for the senior meal deal. So far I have found the senior meals here superior to a lot of the other pubs in my local Darebin area north of Melbourne. The serves are large and carefully prepared. The membership cards offer great value for birthdays and christmas with free meal deals or large discounts. The staff are always friendly and attentive.

I highly recommend the 31 Below function space at the Olympic Hotel. We recently held my daughter’s 21st there. I’ve only heard positive feedback from all who attended. Bar staff were great and very attentive, food was plentiful. In house DJ was fantastic, the dance floor was full all night. Hotel recommendation of “Events by Carol” for decorating was spot on. Everyone had a great time, atmosphere was buzzing. Most of all the Birthday girl was so happy. Thanks again to Adrian and staff for helping us make my daughter’s birthday a night to remember.

I had my 30th birthday in the bronze function room and it did not dissapoint. The service was absolutely incredible with staff walking around with finger food regularly throughout the night. The bar service was fantastic and my guests were not waiting long for drinks.
The amount of food and not to mention the quality, was absolutely delicious that my guests have not stopped raving about it. Adrian was a pleasure to deal with and coordinated the event so well. His hospitality was so impressive and he made sure the night ran as smoothly as possible. I used the DJ and photography that the Olympic Hotel offer and I was extremely happy with how the DJ catered to all my music requests and got my guests up dancing.
I would highly recommend the Olympic Hotel for your next event!

Food was Fresh tasty and didn't have to wait, Good size servings too, Staff were very Friendly and happy to accommodate.

Excellent customer service from Ms. Mary. She's consistent in making us feel welcome and attending to our orders during our 2 visits! She's a sweetheart!

Don’t expect to have a stress free family night there as the managers don’t like children. I took my kids they don’t run around and the don’t scream. But apparently because they are not on my lap in the bar they were not behaving. They are aged 10 and 15 with special needs and you wouldn’t know they were there unless you were looking for them

Celebrating my 60th birthday. Friends recommended the Olympic Hotel. Hadn’t been there in years. Why I don’t know. Definitely will be my go to place for a Bistro meal. Staff highly trained and attentive to guests but only exceeded by their events coordinator Adrian. I have no words at the ease in the preparation I had in organising my 60th just one meeting with Adrian I received all I asked for with my event last night. Every team member was attentive, service I haven’t seen in years. This was also seen by my guests. You made my night one I will never forget. Thank you Adrian and to your team Alex, Nick and Yeu OUTSTANDING.

Celebrate my husband's 50th birthday as a Surprise Party! It was such a pleasure working with Adrian the events Manager who catered so thoughtfully throughout planning the event along with last minute fixing up the decorations. Generous amount of delicious and fresh food. Great choice of beverages. Friendly and fun staff who were bubbly and always with a smile. The night was beautiful to celebrate with family and friends. One of our favorite venues for dinners or a casual outing if in the area! Would love to arrange another occasion with the Olympic in the 31 below lounge. Thankyou for a night to remember.

Celebrated my daughter’s 16th in the silver room last Saturday. 100% recommend Adrian and his crew. Everything was seamless. Couldn’t thank Adrian enough for a super smooth night. My daughter was very grateful and had the best night ever.

Can't recommend this venue enough. This is the second event we've hosted in one of their private function rooms, and the dedication & professionalism shown by Adrian and his staff is second to none. Went way beyond expectations to make this a memorable event for those that attended. Do yourselves a favour, and look Adrian up. He won't disappoint!

Can't fault the quality of the food it was on point, but the portion size was noticeably poor. Nearly $27 for bowl of pasta that was entree sized and presented in a deep, larger bowl to make the dish look larger than it was. $18 for a kids meal, handful of nuggets and chips. Heard from other customers that the quantity of food has been a recent change.

Came for meal 3 weeks ago bill could be split
Today the manager who looked about 12 years old simply refused. I explained that the 3 couples only had eftpos and I asked do you not want us to eat ?
She just shrugged her shoulders with no response .

Another meal at the Olympic Hotel Preston. Meat was tender and tasty! Only one suggestion I will make, a little less oil in the sauce would’ve been better specially as it was sitting on mashed potatoes! Otherwise all good!

Went for dinner with family last night. Potato and leek Soup tasty.
The lemon pepper calamari was tender and crunchy with chips and salad, delicious. Penne and tagliatelle cooked well/Al dente sauce tasty, Chicken Risotto well cooked, chicken tender. Sticky date pudding with ice cream was delicious as usual! 😋Cathy
