WOW - what a fabulous facility! We were part of a very large group visiting Stanthorpe for the weekend . There were almost 40 of us - for a Christmas in June dinner and O'Mara's staff excelled in every way. Our tables were decorated beautifully and suitably for 'Christmas' and the very generous meal was just delicious. Served efficiently and hot by the friendliest of staff They catered to all dietary requirements. And the desserts were absolutely delish as well. Congratulations to the entire team and a BIG WELL DONE!!

While staying the weekend in Stanthorpe, we found limited dining options available for a Sunday night, so decided to try O'Mara's for dinner for our family of four. |Turned out to be a great choice!|From the Schnitty, pie and house rissoles ordered, everyone enjoyed their substantial meal. |Definitely recommend for a casual pub dinner and we would visit again if in the area.

We went for lunch. Ordered the braised steak and onions with mash. Absolutely delicious and great food because it was cold outside. They had a fire going that kept everyone warm. Staff very obliging and happy. Would recommend this hotel because of its old style pub fare. Well done all

We visited the hotel for dinner in May 2024. Walking in, the place had that great country pub vibe and the staff were so friendly. We ordered the chicken schnitzel and the rissoles and wow! The schnitzel was lovely but the rissoles were unbelievable. Great tasting beef and the gravy was delicious. If you are in town, this place is a must. And I would recommend you to book as it can get pretty busy.

We shared the dining experience with our friends. What a nice dinner.
We returned the next day and had a fabulous time with Jenno and Shadow.
It’s so relaxing, friendly with country charm.

We love this place. As far as I’m concerned it’s a must do when in Stanthorpe. The food is delicious and well priced. The staff and atmosphere are outstanding. Love love love. Everything a country pub should be

Very noisy rooms, paper thin walls. Rattling fans and noisey fridge. Showers were not cleaned in over two weeks, the floor mat kept getting dirtier and dirtier. Definitely wear thongs in the shower. Meals average. Seafood marinara had mussels 2 small prawns and that was it other than pasta. Nachos served without sour cream or melted cheese. was told we run out as they dropped to the plate on the table. Dry and unappealing. Still charged full fare.
Could not recommend based on this. Standard has slipped over the years.

Top quality food, great variety of meals, they even have Pensioner affordable meals to entice you to bring your family with you, family friendly prices, excellent staff. I highly recommend O'Mara's for a meal, or coffee and cake.

The burgers are good but I've had better. Great quality chips. Kid's meal comes with a free kids drink and dessert. The staff are very nice. Close to the Apple and Grape motel and can easily walk here for a meal and drink.

Omg everyone !!! No payment involved haha but best food I’ve had in a long time. Very fresh and has so much choice, this pub needs to be on the map big time, very very impressive how the staff and the establishment is soooo professional but payed back and like I said before !!!! The fooooooodddd

O'Mara Hotel Reception Bar and Food team. Thank you for looking after us so well. Because of the floods at Moree and down the coast we are off to Melbourne along the Great Divide for 2000 km. We lucked on your last room available. You provide an extra blanket at the temperature dropped. Old fashioned local pub atmosphere. We so enjoyed the crumbed steak. Robert

Loving the old school pub vibes. Enjoyed a family meal where everyone had their favourite pub grub. Cosy and warm, good food and friendly staff.

Lovely quaint little pub with alot of history .
Toilets need updating but their meals were phenomenal. I would recommend sharing a plate as the servings are very large and also very tasty . We loved the pies !! ..

Just a short walk from the heart of town and nestled along the river, that's not all you're going to enjoy your stay here.
The grounds are meticulously maintained. The pool could use partial shade but otherwise excellently kept.
The main amenities are modern, clean, and exceptionally well appointed, including the thick, quality shower curtains that prevent your dry stuff from getting hosed while you're in rhe shower.

I really enjoyed the food at O'Mara's. The beef & ale pie was delicious, and my friends really enjoyed their meals. The staff were good fun and very efficient.

Great place to eat and relax, friendly staff, we had the home made pies, and an enormous pizza, all very tasty, great value too, thank you, we will be back

Great place and great staff. Good wine and very friendly...
BUT DON"T order a Rib Eye Filet steaks. Really I got a very nicely cooked piece of Rump Steak! For the price of the ordered Rib Eye Filet steak!
After a long days travel I was too tired and hungry to send it back. But I still feel ripped off!

First time in Stanthorpe, and went on a pub crawl with my partner... O'mara's was the third on the list. It's kept its character from past history, lovely staff and food was not to be either. Some lovely locals, too, centrally located.

Experienced an incredibly rude waitress on the phone who told us to “put that down” when we picked up menus to look at the food. What the heck? Not even a please or an excuse me.
A young man then got us a menu but despite the menu looking good and nice service from him, the blonde young girl wearing tracksuit pants,vans and a staff shirt was good enough reason to leave. Someone might have to work on her people skills.

Celiac Friendly! The chef is amazing, kind, considerate and very accommodating. The food was perfect, so tasty and the steak was very tender and perfectly cooked.
Get off the New England Highway and stop into O'Mara's, you will not regret it.

Another great country pub. Lovely wood fire burning which immediately gave that cosy & comfortable feel. I had the rump & veg, cooked perfectly. My friends had the Barra which was fine.
The pub was in walking distance of our accommodation, so that was also a bonus. Will definitely call in again, when in the area 👌🏼.
