Went for Sunday lunch. Good prices and serves were generous. Drinks normal prices. Great for quick stopover. Staff were pleasant.

Used entertainment app to order 2 seafood platters. The staff stuffed up and clicked past the code and then very rudely accused me of trying to use a redeemed coupon. I said you've had my phone then whole time and you've clicked too many times and went past the code. Stubborn ladie refused her error and pointed the finger at me. After holding up the line I decided to wait while she got the manager. The manager just as rudely said this ladie doesn't make mistakes and she's done this for years. They continued to cut me off and ganged up on me and make a scene infront of all the families until they couldn't denie that fact after taking another customers phone!! And showing the same thing which proved redemption was 2mins old and her actions matched the scenario. Customer service was a disgrace, no apologies, ruined the evening food came out average. Very negative experience.

The food at Oppy's is always great value for the money.My partner had bangers and mash,l had calamari salad with chips.

The actual venue looks run down but if you are after friendly service, excellent food at an affordable price than this is the place. Every meal that I have eaten there has been faultless. Fresh not frozen mushy vegetables, meat properly cooked - a hidden gem! The complementary fresh roll and butter is a nice added touch.

Stopped in here with the family for a bit to eat. It was nice and quiet before the dinner rush. I had a chicken schnitzel with chips and a beer. I was full after eating my meal. Everyone enjoyed theirs too. The price for the meal was good and the menu had a good amount of options. We only went in to eat. Gaming machines are known to rob you so we don't touch them. The place was clean and the staff U talked with were very nice and welcoming.

Probably one of the worse places I have eaten. The go to pub fare of Chicken Parm was terrible. Chicken not cooked still pink. Service staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. Meals were sporadic on coming out - one person completed their meal before 8 othere had theirs.I didn't expect a great meal just wasn't expecting how bad this was.

Oppys is a hit and a miss. It's extremely casual and don't feel the need to dress up. The meals are so unpredictable it's like your having a pull on the slots. Sometimes you get an amazing steak and other times like tonight you wait an hour and it's from a microwave.
The old woman taking orders is very tired and has an attitude not the person you want as the face of your buisness.
I don't know why we come back here but after tonight we probably won't.

Oppys has a brilliant atmosphere, with affordable pricing. The menu offers a wide selection and the seafood platter for two which came to a table close to us, was a spectical of envy. Our steak was cooked very well, to our various desired ways. The parmi was huge and, by reports, delicious. The drinks were regular prices and the pokies were a great way to end the night. We lost a bit but won a little as well. Great place to eat out (book in advance and bring your vaccination certificate). We will be repeat customers.

One of our family favourites. I have been tasting my way through the menu and have liked or loved every meal.
Oppys is very affordable with great quality meals and have lovely staff ready to help.

Love their baked potatoes with salad and sour cream. Very filling. Treat yourself to a lemon meringue tart you'll be glad you did yummo😋

I dont get people who first of all go to this place for a meal and second complain online about it when really you have plenty of other options the main town where there are heaps of places to have a meal that you will for sure enjoy more than eating here are about an 8 minute drive down the road but even if you couldn't be bothered with that theres legit fast food places across the road from oppys your the one who saw the pokies and decided hey ill stop here for a bite too knowing this place outside looks like a dive surely the food is as disappointing or more so all im saying is you deserve your disappointing experience here for expecting better from a place with the word bistro in the name

Had Boxing Day at Oppys will never go back as some meals were good all Parmi's were very under cooked we told the waitress sshe took the 2 worse ones to show chef but never came near us not awordba

Good lunch meal spoilt by slack serving staff.
Served roast pork with mint sauce then she laughed it off after she collected the plates. Forgot our dessert for 20 minutes after taking away the mains plates. I had to wave a table napkin to get the attention of the staff (the chef saw it first ) no apologies just slack service from staff who have become very complacent. They also forgot to put the desserts up on the menu board until I asked if there were desserts today.
Won’t be back because basically there is no service and they have a take it or leave it attitude.

Food Low Class. Prices Over The Top For Seniors. Bad Communication With The Bistro Staff. Who Didn't Seem To Care About There Service To Us On Tues This Week. The Meal We Had Was Very Disappointing. Will Never Go There Again.

Amazing food...seriously! It was 13 for a the best bangers and mash that my son never eats usually but demolished his plate. I'm shattered I live in Melbourne as I've just had the best meal in years! Thank you to the chef! It's worth the 2hr drive!

Aircon not working 32deg outside not much better inside, garlic bread was terrible ,main meal was just ok , bar service was terrible
