Went to Paddy’s Irish Pub and Grill for some beers and what turned into dinner aswell. As I’m sure you can tell by my photos, had a great time here. Drinks were flowing, very fast service which kept lines short and me well hydrated. Needed to stabilise myself so turned to the menu for guidance and it was everything I was looking for in a pub feed. One stop shop. Couldn’t ask for much more. Plus they had live music and sports on the tv.

We have been going to this bar for years during our annual Pt Douglas holiday. Unfortunately this year's visit was not pleasant, thanks to the ladies working behind the bar who appeared to dislike everybody there who dared to order a drink. Food was good as was the entertainment.

This place exists to milk tourists. I'd give this place less than a star but my girlfriend said it should get 3. Everything took ten years and they were not busy.

This is a good place to visit either for a few beers or something to eat. Good atmosphere you can sit and people watch

Sunday dinner this is the place to go! Fantastic meal for the money, got the roast with veggies, potato mash and Guinness of course! Best pub I have been in during my stay here in Port Douglas. Friendly helpful staff with good recommendations. Live music most nights brings in the crowd, no wonder this place is often packed. Highly recommend for any occasion, from family dinner to date night. 💯

Place was busy on a Friday night but we lucked on a table for two. Had the staples of Bangers and Mash and the Guiness Pie.
Good, traditional Irish Pub fare done well and generously portioned.

Ordered pumpkin salad. Pretty tasty and so far so good! Second time I go, I ordered sea risotto and fried mushrooms. 100% recommend. The food here is amazing! Service is pretty good as well.

Ok so the pint is good but the service leaves alot to be desired!
Beef and guiness pie is full of veg, 3 pieces of beef. The roast was so so. We could easily have made a better meal at home.
We are local to the area and thought we would give it a go but think it’s food is geared to once only visiting tourists otherwise the quality would be better.
Great for a pint but give the meals a miss. We waited almost an hour for meals despite being first order at 4pm.

My personal experience, firstly regarding the food I have not eaten there so I can't give my opinion unfortunately, Service is always great and the bartenders are nice.
Great atmosphere, live music! The general price of alcohol is very affordable in a tourist town, regardless of happy hour and non-happy hour, and I believe it's a great place to have a few beverages "drinking responsibly" Of course..
I hope this can give you some good insight.

It's alright I suppose, but it could do with a good clean. I had the meat and guiness pie but the filling tasted more like bolognese. The pie crust was almost thin enough to see through, worst of all, I had my mind set on a proper pie and a pot pie turned up so not best pleased. I don't think I shall be back. Oh, they should change the strainers in the gents urinals for a different colour, the puss yellow ones make it look like they are blocked😉

I thought $24 for 2 sausages, mash and onion gravy was a bit steep. Sausages were good but not the best I've had. Left feeling unsatisfied. brother had the beef and guiness pie and it had 3 massive chunks of carrot in it and very little beef and he said he could barely taste the Guinness. Again, for $26, it fell short of value for money.

Irish pubs have never failed me. Great service and hearty food! Cold Guiness was so good especially when the weather was hot and humid. Live music in the front outdoor area. BTW the chips were one of the best 👌

Had the chicken wings here and the spicy paddy's sauce, very nice.
Others enjoyed the meals as well. Nice cold beer. Busy with cruise ship patrons.

Guinness was good.
Food average.
Service awful.
I had to lie down for a moment (10mins?) as I have not been well & this was my first dinner out. I was quiet and in a corner - staff wanted me to sit up, which I was barely capable of- and when my boyfriend said yes, in a minute once you’ve gone away - she made out that he was being aggressive.
She was awful and there was no need for this overreaction.
Experience was awful - won’t be going back.

Great Irish styled pub in the heart of Port Douglas. They put on good live music regularly and do decent pub grub and of course the obligatory Guinness. They take their time pouring the Guinness and bring it out to you with a smile. A good alternative to the "big pubs" in town.

Great friendly staff, excellent menu options, live music, I can't fault the place. A real highlight in Port Douglas.

Great food. Love the Lamb shanks. Good atmosphere, a little loud when full but what Irish bar isn't. Lots of seating inside and on the deck, two pool table, a large tv to watch events, bands on some nights. Happy hour 4-5 & 9-10 every day. Book or walk in your choice. Disability friendly with ramp at the side. In all a great feed in a relaxed atmosphere.

Good fish and chips and friendly bar staff. Pints are not badly priced as opposed to across the road.

Food went out to wrong table, from where I was sitting I noticed it was handled by customer who decided their order was wrong….then the food was swapped at the Servery and made its way over to my table. I asked the waitress if that food had been out to another customer and credit to her she said yes. A new meal was requested but was disappointing when it arrived and I say this with optimism.
Live music took the edge off the evening further as the musician decided to start ad hocking songs by dropping the f bomb as and where he could.
Much better places to eat in town with similar menus and pricing. Definitely won’t be going back

Food was very good and came out quickly. The wings with OG sauce were better than most we have back in the US! Chicken burger and chips were great as well. We will definitely come back again.

Chicken parmi nights on Wednesdays are perfect if you wanna have some drinks and eat out with friends on a budget!
Important: don’t go after 7pm or they’ll take at least an hour to serve your food. I’d recommend 6pm at latest.

Call it as i find it. Service was great, food less than, salt and pepper squid with absolutely no salt and pepper. Ribs seemed to be done in a slow cooker and then had a sauce put on top, very tender but tasteless meat, neither of us enjoyed the meal, also had bland mac and cheese

Atmosphere is great. Sat on verandah stools for lunch and soaked up the breeze and street life. My husband had his steak which was great. My seafood platter was average. The price was on the high side that's why 3 . Day before similar meal across the road reasonable price. The service was good.

A great Irish pub with warm decor and a big verandah that offers classic meals, live music and sports on TV. A good selection of local food and drinks and their open from 12.00 noon to 11.00pm 7 days a week. Food was tasty, juicy, and delicious and very generous in size and reasonably priced. Try their signature Sunday Lamb Roast with Veggies including mint sauce and gravy for an out of this World dining experience. Everything was fresh and served quickly, and the staff were friendly and professional too. Seating was very comfortable for couples or families and the restaurant was very clean... and don't forget the pint of Guinness! Highly recommended 👏👍😊

After dinner, we decided to go for a place to listen some music. We ended up going to Paddy. The music was good but the service was better.
I do not like alcohol but I wanted something fresh. I told the bartender to fix me and my wife a mocktail. She did a great job.
