What a great tavern! From entering and being greeted by the Italian lady, to the awesome food and location. The venue is large and airy and looks dogs 🐕 to come and try their dog food menu. The food was great. The bar tender recommended he Nasi Goreng. I am usually dubious as food I Australianized too much from the original flavours however, this nasi Goreng had all the spice and flvour.the calamari and the chicken bao buns were delicious. Congrats Philippino kitchen staff

Went here with a friend for a catch up & was great. Relaxing, good food & to have a beer with a friend, not too shabby..... I had a pasta special & it was really yummy, can't complain about anything.

We love going to palm cove tavern as a family and often bring family and friends with us. The food is always consistently delicious (chicken wings and 10/10) and the cocktails are awesome too. We love the big open space for the kids to play but still be near us if they need.

We had dinner here a few times during our week stay in Palm Cove. Very affordable, good service and pleasant atmosphere.

We asked if the Caesar salad was a good one which was prob the wrong question - it wasn't a Caesar even. Lettuce, weak dressing, micro parmesan and croutons that were past their best and and egg. Missing were anchovy, Worcester sauce, garlic and decent croutons. Service was friendly but no approach to enquire how food was . So if you too fancy a Caesar suggest you ask what is in it then you'll have your best view. My pasta was reasonable . Not exceptional food we're afraid.

Walked into the tavern's eating area. Two large dogs were sitting on other patrons laps at the tables and were eating food from the table. Waited for a long period of time at "wait to be seated" area, and were totally ignored. We ended up finding our reserved table ourselves. We sat down at the table on the cracked 3 chairs at the table for 4, and found another cracked chair. We then ordered our food from the worst app I have ever used. The chefs specials were not even on the app. We then ordered drinks. The kids soft drinks were $8 each. The other drinks were more expensive than other high end restaurants in the area. We had the Risotto. It was fatty and sloppy. A piece of over cooked dried out chicken was put on top of the rice. The calamari resembled the same frozen calamari we purchase from Coles. The Nasi Goreng flavours were all wrong and weird. Our child enjoyed the kids chicken and chips. It was clear the staff there are unhappy in their workplace. There was no one available to speak to about our experience dispite other reviews responses suggesting to speak with management. Terrible place for a meal. Find somewhere else.

This is a very well run venue and the food is very consistent. The menu covers everything and the Pork Cutlet is an amazing dish. They have a great weekday Happy Hour and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Tavern while we were on our holidays in Palm Cove. Keep up the great work guys.

The food alone makes this venue 5 stars. The brisket baguette was amazing. My partner's nachos were also fantastic. It was not like normal pub nachos, actual effort went into this. The staff are super friendly and the venue has a nice fitout with a lovely atmosphere.

Southern fried chicken bites were absolutely terrible. So dry and lacking any moistness at all. Wedges were tasty but no gastronomic achievement.

Service was the best we’ve had from anywhere in a long time. The team on last night were fantastic and made our Daughter’s 15th Birthday dinner extra special. Thanks for the Birthday card and gift offer. The food is quality, the menu is well thought out and available on their website, including online bookings which made it easy to choose their venue. A great atmosphere, drinks made perfectly and staff so polite and onto it. We will be back. Thank you Palm Cove Tavern. Just brilliant.

Service was excellent but the one vegetarian pizza was average. We had to wait for about 45mins as there was a couple of functions.

Nice find around the corner from the Esplanade on Palm Cove. A little out of the way, but a large establishment, serving drinks and nice pub food. The rump steak special is great value. And was pretty nice. Inside the tavern these is a lot of comfortable seating. Staff always friendly. Lots of locals frequent this place.

Maybe we went on an off night? Not sure, but we unfortunately didn't have the same outstanding meal we've read about. We decided to order from the Palm Cove Tavern as it got such wonderful reviews and in all honesty the menu looks delicious. We received our meals but we were left quite underwhelmed considering the price we paid. I feel the biggest sore point was the size, or more appropriately lack of size of the desert - I don't generally order desert, but I thought I'd give it a go while on holiday. The taste of our items was fine, nothing to blow your socks off but certainly nothing poor of taste. The location of the Tavern is top notch literally a stone's throw from the beautiful ocean and Palm Cove foreshore.

It was okay and they did have a large wedding so I won't knock the service to bad. It wasn't good though but the brisket sandwich was bad. Super dry the shrimp good 👍 but the sandwich took a bottle of water to get down. Maybe just a bad night.

I didn't like the atmosphere or the food. I ordered BBQ Beef Brisket Baguette -- that's a lot of Bs ! It included chips, something I enjoy when they're hot & fresh. These were not. They were served luke warm and I felt like they'd been sitting around for 5-8 mins before being served. Very disappointing. The BBQ beef just didn't taste right -- it was chewy and not enjoyable. The baguette suffered from the brisket's juice or gravy and was soggy / falling to pieces. There's nothing about the food I can compliment. I went with two friends and their view of the food was the same as mine. We all had different dishes and none of us enjoyed what we were served. I felt the place lacked atmosphere. Everyone has their own opinion and some people could love it. For me it had the feel of a distressed RSL. Not my favourite vibe.

Great spot but the food didn't impress unfortunately. Sunday lamb shank was entree sized. Risotto was plain with over cooked chicken. Sliders were delicious.

Great location, friendly staff and nice vibe. Has a pool table around the side and both inside and outside seating. Plenty of screens playing the footy and other sports. Food was pricey and would have expected a bigger portion. Well at least chips with calamari. But the crispy barramundi was delicious. A couple gluten free options but nothing life changing. Chips are not gluten free.

Food is good Pub food but best of all is the staff. We r here May-June and the staff many of whom are backpackers are absolutely brilliant. Hard working and very friendly. 5 Stars due to the great friendly service.. Couldn't believe how tender the rump steak sandwich was.

As a solo traveller, I search for a place that I feel safe and am made to feel welcome. I felt that right away here. Comfort through staff smiling and short banter. Had the Mediterranean salad which was fresh and a good serving size. The tavern is located off the Main Street, so quiet and a good crowd. Reasonably priced menu.

Arrived here with my partner, looks like it was a quite night as not many people were there. Staff were friendly and food came out at a good pace. Meal was okay but my partners barramundi was dry, I would go back again to give it another try.

A local favourite with a great selection of food and drinks and their open from 10.00am to 12.00am 7 days a week. Food was tasty and generous in size and very reasonably priced. Try the garlic bread or crispy sweet chilli glazed chicken wings as an entree. And the creamy chilli prawn & chorizo linguini or the works burger or the Greek feast pizza and house salad or the lamb shank or nasi goreng for mains. Everything was fresh and crispy and served quickly. Seating was very comfortable for couples or families and the restaurant was very clean, and the outdoor music and big screen TVs just add to the overall Palm Cove vibe - laid back 🤟 Highly recommended 👏👍😊
