No-nonsense rooms in a simple budget hotel offering a modest restaurant & a bar. On leafy grounds off the A22 motorway, this down-to-earth budget hotel is 7 km from Auburn Botanic Gardens and 8 km from ANZ Stadium. The simply furnished rooms feature flat-screen TVs, minifridges and en suite, shower-only bathrooms, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities. Parking is free. Other amenities include a casual restaurant and a low-key bar.

Would never stay here again, my reasons are as follows.1, I prebooked a ground floor room at 3 weeks before arrival, NO GO. Even though I had proof of request. I was on crutches and had to climb a full flight of stairs. They were not one bit interested or understanding and would not budge one bit. All they would say is we're booked out.
2, had to step down into shower which was impossible for me to do.
3, Not even a chair to sit on only the bed.
4, We could hear every noise that was going on in the rooms either side of our room.
Overall the stay was shocking and would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed room 15. Our plane was late but they managed to still get our key to us. Was watching a movie Annabelle and the lights flickered constanly even when switch was off. Freaky. Fire alarm hanging down from the roof. Shower overflowed. Room was tidied every day. Nice sheets. No extra pillows, blankets etc.
No coke for mixing drinks. Only desert was a little dandy ice cream. Good prices on meals though Rump steak $18
Nice stay though for overnights and prices compared to other stays. Pizza place next door no ham due to religion.
We did mansge to get around on public transport from there. Nsw transport great app

We stayed here for the night to go to the Foo Fighters concert.
It was an affordable option within a short drive to Lidcombe train station (where we left the car to go to the gig). Our group was pleasantly surprised with the rooms. They were well maintained, containing a double bed, single bed, kettle (with Nescafe, sugar, and Arnotts biccies), TV, and airconditioning. The beds were very comfortable, and the road noise minimal.
I'd stay here again.

UNSAFE. DO NOT STAY HERE
Our room was broken into and robbed while we were inside sleeping and the Hotel is doing nothing about it.
It was reported to police and cctv was obtained showing this happening. While we were there with police the on site management said we would be refunded for our stay but are now refusing to refund.
Police basically said this is a half way house, not being from the area and trusting reviews we were not aware of this.
There are no bolts on the door and no way to check if the door is locked from the inside so who knows if it ever locked while we were there.
The rooms are unsafe, loud, uncomfortable, everywhere stinks of stale cigarettes. I'd sleep in the train station before I stayed here again

The shower had no door, the bed was that soft I felt like I was sleeping in a beenbag , so sore after sleeping there , found broken glass on the stairs lucky I was wearing shoes , but the room did it's purpose of a bed to sleep in before going to the airport

The room was filthy when we arrived with hair on the bed didn't even want to lay on there. Not just one bit of hair multiple bits of hair like the bed sheets haven't been changed just the bed remade.

The manager started colecting the machines why we still playing we couldn't choose others we like to play,we are customers we bring money in to pay their wages very bad don't feel comfortable there bad vibes I'll never go there again the worse hotel ever in Sydney

Terrible attitude of the manager - A guy was checking us in. He seemed to be new which is totally okay. He had an issue checking us in and asked for help from the manager. She sighed heavily and had a terrible attitude towards him- felt bad for the poor guy.

Stayed here recently and wasn’t expecting it to be that great with the other reviews I read and for the price is was but I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms got cleaned everyday. The staff were lovely and helpful and the food in the restaurant was tasty. The only bad thing is I didn’t win on the pokies but that’s to be expected.

Only complaint was the windows rattled all night and ppl in other rooms making racket. Rest was great and food and price was good

I wish I had read the reviews before I booked and stayed. Oh my god the room had a bad smell and wasn't game enough to open the fridge. Mould in the bathroom and was crazy at night with noisy people outside banging and running outside the rooms. I felt the place should change its name to Motel not Hotel because the picture from the entrance is soooooooo misleading. Thank God they have friendly staff but never going back to that place. Ive had the absolute pleasure of visiting the palms hotel and to my delight the pub had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, i was throughly impressed at how clean the bar area was and the blonde female asian bartender was very accomodating but above all her service with a smile was outstanding. Would visit again in future!

I've attended the palms hotel for years, I've always gotten exceptional service from all the works and managers! My favourite worker is Amanda she's always go over and beyond for me!

I don't even want to give them one star, that's too good for this.
Arrived after a 3 hour drive to find out I couldn't be checked in because I didn't have a credit card on me, I don't carry a physical card, as alot of people these days don't, and use my phone instead (this was also all already paid for and sorted out online before i arrived), they also wanted me to email them a screenshot of my id, and told me "it's policy, it's on our website" (I didn't book through their website) which I later looked for and could not find.
After waiting 10 minutes and having several people who walked in after I did get served their alcohol before she addressed me, I was simply asked "how old are you?" and told that she will need my credit card.
Don't bother with this place, it stinks and the service is just awful and rude.

I come to the hotel quite frequently, I've always been addressed in a profession manner by all the Gorgeous staff especially the manager Amanda! Highly recommend hotel

Have stayed here recently the place is disgusting. The rooms are old and run down, very noisy at night when you’re trying to sleep, we got bitten by bed bugs while we were sleeping. Would not recommend!

Had a really great time visiting the palms hotel, loved that there was ample parking space and Wendy is by far my favourite bartender. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼

Great location average rooms. Staff is rude and really not flexible at all. The manager needs to be sacked or taught how to treat the guests. Bar food is good too

Got free pool competitions Wednesday nights. They do food there and have accommodations. Can be loud in pokie room easy access from highway plenty space if ur a truck driver needing a spot to stop and grab a feed nd nap. There is also a pizza kebab shop next to palms if steak ain't wat u like if ya after salad dont expect much with ya snity or steak. But it filled the hole :)

DO NOT STAY HERE
we first arrived then they said they didnt trust us from the way we looked they where very rude and when we walked into our room could barley open the door the room was disgusting it looked nothing like the photo it smelt like piss and vomit there was mold on the walls and the manger was so rude she told us just to leave and get out and didnt even wanna negotiate to help us out first time and sydney and the service was disgusting i would never go back the hygine level was below minimum and they judged us for our looks so disgusting and you couldnt even tell if it was locked from the inside
and they clam its a hotel and then she tried to say look it says motel when online it says hotel if its a motel say that

DO NOT STAY HERE. the entire place smells like smoke, the fridge had what looked like used toilet paper, the room is tiny and it is easily the worst place I have ever stayed on a holiday. I would rather sleep on the side of the road. DO NOT COME HERE.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Hotel room was broken into and robbed while we were sleeping. This was caught on cctv and police were involved. On site management said we would get a refund when the police were there but now they are refusing to refund our stay. Police mentioned this place is used as a half way house.
Besides that, the place smelt like cigarette and the constant noise made for a very uncomfortable stay.

Beautiful location and beautiful price, this hotel located on the second floor of a pub but not noisy at all, close to everywhere and have everything you need. Recommend

Anna and Wendy are very helpful. I've been here for 30 years and I always come back Thanks to the girls working behind the bar. Anna and Wendy are very friendly and hospitable. Would highly recommend!

Absolute disaster. The “hotel” was full of loud, obnoxious and inconsiderate guests, screaming couples and drunk guys who didn’t care people were trying to sleep. The walls are paper thin and we had to leave in the middle of the night. DO NOT stay here.
