We stay here all the time when we are in Rockhampton location is good for us..Rooms always clean...Restaurant is conveniently located near the rooms...food is very nice..

We needed a pet friendly room for our journey from Cairns to Sydney.
The rooms are carpeted which really makes no sense at all but thankfully our room was clean and there was no smell or anything.
Check in & check out was easy,
We ordered room service & had steak and chicken schnitzel and it was sooo good! The mushroom sauce is absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately though there was no steak knife & was it difficult to cut with rheumatoid arthritis but we rate the food 10/10!!
For $105 the room really was great. If you expect anything perfect then book something that cost a bit more BUT we didn't have pet smells in our room like other people have complained about so I'm guessing some rooms are worse then others.
We were in Room 2 if that makes a difference. My dog did knock her bowl of water over so some stains on people's carpet may be from water too as that's going to happen with the carpeted floor too unfortunately but at least that won't smell just take a bit to dry up. We did put puppy pads down as we always do but it was knocked over when packing up and I had already picked up the puppy pads for the bin and not yet the water bowl when bam over it went.
Overall I would recommend this place to someone needing a no frills pet friendly room.

We had not been to the PA for a few years, last few times were not that great.| What a change this time! Great service, really nice food and a casual atmosphere. Nothing fancy, but perfect for a night out with the family. My kids love the parmy army menu and we all loved sharing the giant waffles.

We always stay here when travelling to Rockhampton, it's easy and no hassle. One of the few places that allow our dogs. We come back everytime. The food is great too

Trivia night was awesome. I had the salmon and mash and it was amazing. Strawberry Margherita was great but avoid the Chuppa Chup.

The woman who checked us in was so friendly. We had a clean room of great size and the bathroom being its own separate room away from the beds was lovely. The food was good regular pub food. We will stay here again. Pet friendly and very accommodating.

The service is great and the staff are really kind. But the food can be interesting. It just depends on what you get. Like chicken and stakes are good but some of the sides aren't. Like the Mac and cheese. It's not real it like plastic from a can. But the chips and gravy are lovely and the kids menu was good I didn't have any compliments there. Some of the drinks were a bit strong tho. I had a red rum and it was 80% rum 20% coke. My Mil had a margarita and it was very strong too.

Sunday brunch with friends is good. Budget conscious lunches for pensioners and really nice roast meals. There is a conference room for use and the plate sizes are large. The eating area could do with a bit more lighting for daytime. Parking is easy and there is an outdoor eating area that is popular.

Service was rude, i asked if i had to hand over id and got met with a "thats ok we have you on camera anyway" felt like they where assuming i was going to be doing no good,
I requested a room with a double bed in it and they agreed, they gave me a single bed and now im stuck with 1 night i havevto put up with, i specifically requested a queen due to being tall i cant sleep on singles.
Location, when i got here i found out this motel is frequently ran through by local youths looking for things to steal.

Nice bistro but the team need to lift it a little. Ordered an entree to come out as a main - it came out as an entree (so did the table beside us). The garlic prawns were not so garlicky but more creamy. Otherwise staff were friendly and venue well appointed

Meals are expensive and very slow to come out. Staff need to learn customer service.

If you love the taste of disappointment, this is the place for you...|Yesterday, we travelled to Rockhampton to have an early Xmas with our family.|To make it easier on mum, we decided to have lunch at the #ParkAvenueHotel|Great time with the family, BUT|The food and most of the service was disgraceful...|The staff involved in what can only be called bad food and terrible value for money should be ashamed of what they delivered.|My wife asked me to keep calm and just try and enjoy our time with the family but when Coopers, Ham and Pineapple Pizza finally arrived, I near lost my cool.|A six year old could have made a better pizza. The Cook/Chef/Manager should never had even let this leave the kitchen.|To top it off the Duty Manager didn't even come and talk to us about the terrible meals that were served up.

Great food. Enjoyed my tweaked Parmy with the cheese blend instead of prawns.
Only minor complaint is that both the salt & pepper shakers on our table were actually salt.
Will definitely be back :)

Excellent place good food loved the ambience and steaks and parmigianas were top class would recommend for kids to visit plus they got function halls and everything absolutely loved the staff

Disgusting! disgusting! disgusting! I booked a room after a long day driving needing a pet friendly room. I was welcomed by a badly stained carpet with dog wee stains everywhere! And a stench of dog wee so bad. I have attached photos for people to witness. It was almost impossible to sleep in the stink. Why have a dog friendly room with carpet. At least change it to a nice vinyl floor. I hoped the carpet would be the only issue but the mattresses were so old and stained and the pillow cases were slightly brown and stained - though they had been washed. I peeked at the pillows under the pillow case and they had old saliva stains. Pillows had obviously not been changed in years! Yuck. This hotel is a gambling hotel and that's it. Any of the better reviews here do not relate to the accommodation.

Cancelled the regular (and awesome) Saturday night Karaoke which was awesome for the local community as it apparently detracted/impacted the pokie sales. Pretty disgusting and shameful, supporting the local gamblers rather than the locals coming together and having a good time. The pub now deserves to be dead, it’s forgotten what it means to be a pub.

Best dam local pub in the best suburb on the East Coast of Australia. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere with great value for money meals so you can lose the rest of ya pay on the horses or the keno. In my opinion, It has one of Australia's most celebrated apprentice in the kitchen.
What more can a guy ask for?
