We were there for a trivia night. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was really good. It was a warm night and the air con wasn't great, but otherwise it was a great venue.

Went with friends (8) for Lunch. Very helpful staff, nice simple food (serve size large). Has disabled entry from car park on North side of building.

Was a great pub years ago before they got the pokies in, lost it's atmosphere and most of the people I associated with there all left and went elsewhere.

Very reasonable prices. A good friendly non pretentious local ----- OK take note i wrote this 7 months ago..EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED. Not a friendly cheap local any more. The pool table gone dogs not allowed my son's fave kid's spaghetti changed to cheap fettuccini with no Bolognese. A sad state of affairs

Unprofessional lead management come to work with love bites on her neck can't order pot glasses that have been dropped 3 weeks ago no people skills, can't run the tab, sit in her office ,over works staff ,does not give staff irrelevant breaks,English is poor,leaves early ,come in late for shifts,only hire her family members, iv drank in this pub for over 40 years and never seen such poor lead management she needs to be gone my personal opinion is she can't run a chook raffle you have lost one of your best asset's to your company Perry and alot of the patron won't be returning as Perry made that pub he work skills and people skills are outstanding he brought patrons to this venue

Tuesday's are so good. $12 mains, $6 pints. Very friendly service.

Though the decking has a great atmosphere, my partner and I really enjoyed the home-like feel of inside where we could eat a terrific meal - at almost half the price of most places! - while we watched the footy on TV. What a way to spend a Sunday arvo. Very comfortable environ and yummy food. Highly recommend the breads and the chips. Yum. Will be going back for sure.

This has been a hidden gem for many years. Looks like it has had a recent spruce up, so is looking very clean and comfortable. You can't complain about $8 pints, but the Parkview combines that with a truly excellent range of beers, from lagers to XPAs to sours. Great atmosphere and staff. It is a pokie pub, but I managed to ignore that part of the building.

There is two things that I love about this place. The $6 pints all day and the multitude of tellys playing sports all day.
The food is okay but I would suggest taking advantage of the special of the day to get the best value for your money.

Terrible atmosphere. Staff had no personal communication skills. This place used to be great with a kitchen, but now is completely soulless.
A shame as its an iconic corner. 😪

Stopped in for a cheeky beer on my way home.
$9 Pints and $5 pots on all tap beer.
The barman was a friendly bloke, looking forward to getting back to try the pub grub.

Poor management venue lost two off it best staff members Perry and Brian current staff have no personality or experience management is losing patrons as she doesn’t know how to run the venue management discusses employer employment with other staff members than when questions about the rumours she denies the rumours Perry and Brian brought in the clients with there bbq on Friday and sat nights and there bubbly personalities venue needs updating and experience staff manager only hire family members and always calls In sick with a headache and expect staff to cover her shifts I believe she is unreliable both myself ,family and friends refuse to return to this venue while she is running this business into the ground

None of the toilets have locks on the doors and there are no women's toilets, only unisex or men's. The beer selection is not very good and at $9 a pint it's not that cheap. The main bar closes early at random even with over 10 patrons in the bar, so you can't trust opening hours unless you're playing pokies.
You'd think some of the money from the nearly constantly open pokies could provide a decent beer, reliable opening hours or locks on the toilet doors at the very least.
To edit the review in fairness: there are now female toilets. What an exceptional effort! The male toilets still don't have locks, and they have added stone and wood pale ale for one decent beer.
Unfortunately you will never be able to watch a game of afl without the most toxic couple on the planet making their guttural screams and screaming f you after the team they don't support scores. If you attend, you'll understand how awful it is. Ruins the atmosphere of a rare pub that allows you to smoke and drink while watching the footy.

More of a drinking venue than fully fledged pub with bistro. Limited indoor seating with breezy hall adjacent entrance having only three communal stool/tables. Outdoor annexes have the majority of seating. Lacks cosy factor. Quite loud considering there was no live music. Service decent and prices reasonable.

I've never lost as many times as at this venue and when I finally did I was told that my identification isn't good enough as my license has just lapsed, even combined with other identification.

Has a nice outdoor patio bit, and super cheap beers. You can't really complain about that! Food isn't the best though, so good for a couple pre-drinks only. Also the pokies and screens/KENO in front bar are depressing - I remember this pub back in the old days, when the gaming equipment was tucked away out the back!

Great pub for a decent feed, cheap beer and sport on screens everywhere. Pokies are well separated from the main bar which is a must. Staff are all chilled out too 👌🏽

Great place to have a few cheap pints! Between 12 and 1130pm there's a great happy hour with 6 dollar pints! Cheapest I've seen in Melbourne, not just one beer but their entire tap range.
Nice outdoor seating and also great wedges.

Great location, conference rooms were very nice and we'll fitted out, conference food supplied by the hotel was great too.
Parking isis under the hotel which is convenient but their system of payment requires upgrade, as it's cash only.
However, overall a good experience.

Good value pints Great beer garden. Excellent place to proverbially " sit back with a cold beer, and watch the world go by"

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere although food is limited to pizza and bar snacks. Good selection of beer. Great place for a quick pit stop, a beer and a pizza.

Friendly service and cheap beer. I use to come here for lunch all the time when they had their $10 lunch specials but unfortunately they don't do that anymore (I am hopeful they will do something similar in the future). I also use this pub as our usually meetup place for 'ExCorporate Elites' gatherings and so far everyone loves the venue :)

Changed hands recently, now incredibly not dog friendly, or helpful. Service is difficult and restrictive with no options for those wanting to eat outside with their dog. Changed what used to be a great friendly pub we went to with our dog often to somewhere we would never set foot in again. Very disappointing. Used to be a great local pub now unfriendly, obstructive and a poor addition to a great neighbourhood.

Boooooooo! definitely has gone down hill the last month or so with the new owners and changes to smoking laws. Used to be a great pub to sit with a dog and a beer outside in the undercover/heated area and watch footy and chat to the other locals, now they no longer allow dogs or smoking in the undercover section as it's only for people eating and taken away the outside TV. Why not just keep food service inside and leave outside as it was? Your food is overpriced, poor quality pub food anyway and it shows in how many people have been coming lately. You've isolated the hundreds of locals who'd come to sit outside with a beer and Instead of thinking about how to make the place better to keep the locals coming, you just jacked up the prices to cover the loss, pushing us working class further away.

Place is half under renovation so manoeuvring the venue can be an issue… but it’s only temporary. So you have to allow for it.
