Wouldn't recommend the roast or vegies. Service was lacking a little also.

Would have been much better if the flys in the restaurant didn't carry you away !

What an absolute rip off. Ordered 2 Caesar salads with chicken from lunch menu. Picked up to find they had run out of normal size take away containers and put it in tiny containers but still charged $25, on top off that from $18 standard to $25 with chicken that consisted of 3 small pieces cold egg and over charged. Lost me.

We use to love this place, but since the new ownership took over a while back the place has really gone down hill. Well over an hour for meals on a quiet night. The steaks were under cooked, cold, and a horrible cut to add insult to it. The fish was overcooked and dry. We've sworn it is the last time every time since the new owners took over, but this time was such a let down, I think it really is the last time this time.

We have not had a bad experience at the Parkview. Each time we go, the food is excellent, as are the friendly staff. I wish I had taken a photo of the crispy skin salmon, as it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is always friendly and inviting. They cater for families with a beaut play area for the kids.
If you haven't been to the Parkview, then you're missing out on top food, top service, and a very pleasant dining experience for all.

We have made this our new dinner spot used to go to mt view pub but they can’t cook a decent meal anymore, would recommend everyone to try a meal here
The steak was perfectly cooked and tender as were all the meals we had.
Also child friendly with a play room.
Will return in the future thankyou for a great experience. 👍

We have had some bad experiences in the past six months whereby meals come out well over an hour after ordering on a Saturday night. Staff on the floor are wonderful, especially Kylie who tries her best to placate and follow up on meals for several tables. There is simply not enough kitchen staff and the new management need to urgently address this. The food is cooked to a high standard, but the wait time is beyond a joke.

We celebrated our family 'nought' (10,30,40,60 & 80) birthdays get together on the 18th May at the Parkview. I cannot thank the management and staff enough for going above and beyond to make sure that all went well for all 30 plus of us who attended. Family came from all over Australia to be with us and left favorably impressed with the standard of care that we received on the day. Thank you so much Parkview Hotel.

Waited for an hour for our meal. Usually I wouldn't mind but they forgot salads that came with the meals and the carbonara was cooked in the sauce used for the garlic prawns and was so garlicky I couldn't finish the meal. Had been looking forward to going there but was so let down.
In the toilet, there was poop on most of the toilet seats
New management needs to improve on a few things. It's nowhere near as good as it once was.

Today must have been a terrible day . We waited over an hour for our lunch, they served us something we didn’t order , but all good because we were starved . The fish was off 🤢 the waitress was lovely , I understand they were working down in the kitchen , but would have been nice to give us a heads up when ordering food .
Something was not right, but the food was terrible and like I said the fish was bad!
Won’t be coming back again . Sorry 😞
Such a shame . Have had nice food there before , but not risking paying for food and having this !

Parkview Gordonvale you never disappoint. Great meal once again. The meals are always great and especially the Rump, Steak Sandwich and Salt and Pepper Calamari (best I have ever had, crunchy and fresh, always cooked perfectly). Thank you for your great hospitality.

Over 1.5 hour wait for food on a quiet night & this was our parmy…. Disgusting!!! Do not bother supporting this pub

Myself and family got take away from here and absolutely loved our food.
Beautifully cooked beef cheeks and ribs. Flavoursome, highly recommended ❤️

Modern pub with an excellent bistro and large screens for sports viewing.
The bistro area has an outstanding play room to keep the kids entertained (supervision is required) while you pour over the menu trying to decide between the excellent meals on offer. There are two other bar areas and a large 'vip' area of those are more to your liking.

Loved it food was fresh and clean(not oily(I had the fish)) everyone enjoyed there meals, steak was cook perfectly, chips was crunchy on the out creamy on the in, serving size was perfect with kids meals and vegetarian/GF meals all priced very reasonable, will definitely go back very relaxed atmosphere fast friendly service. Big screen TVs around the place but didn't take the focus, volume was great to hear yet still have a conversation over. There's pokies but not in ur face we couldn't hear them and hardly visable 👍 for that.

I feel sad for this place.. I will not be back to eat a meal.. left with pain in my gut .. Too much bacteria in the food.. I gave my opinion, the service said, "did you eat it all"... I told the service, " I know what it's like to go without and I learnt to be GREATFUL.. but the food was so unpleasant".. I'm not the one to complain but, if the food is good I will eat everything; I still left food in my plate.. after working up an appetite I was starving so I ate what I could.... And the service responded " I'll let the chef know".. Think about it...

Had the Tuesday Tbone special, while the price was good (it included a free beer or wine), the steak was very grisly and hard to chew. Not enjoyable at all. The staff were friendly and helpful. Was a bit hard to hear others as very noisy in the dining area. There is a fabulous play area for children. Would I go there again? Not sure.

Food wasn’t great. Dry and lacking taste.
Service was very average. Melas came out very slowly. The entire table (12ppl) had eaten before the last meal had arrived. Especially if you had the pleaser or being serviced by the person who seemed like they didn’t want to be there.

Food was delicious with prompt service and generous portions. Kate (?) in the bar took wonderful care of us and had all the information we needed at her fingertips.
Good music, not too loud. Overall, a fantastic evening, thank you!

Excellent!!! I went there for dinner yesterday with my boyfriend and everyone was so kind and hospitable. We had the best garlic bread ever in our life and I’ve never seen my boyfriend soo happy while eating a steak. It was delicious!!! His order got missed in the kitchen but we got 2 beer on the house for that and the food was just so good that you can’t complain about it. Mistakes happen, that’s life. It was amazing though!!!! Thanks for the nice evening!

Big meals ... and a great menu selection... we have been both dinner and lunch.....there is a lunch menu which is a special price..... clean toilets ... and you can't hear pokies in the dining area
