Wow! Amazing what PVH has become! Extremely friendly staff, but not obtrusive. The chef came out to ask how we wanted our tuna steaks cooked (on the specials menu), made a recommendation, brought out the steaks to show us before cooking - fresh from the morning. Cooked perfectly with a good sear and seasoned perfectly - juicy on the inside. An excellent experience! Our local so will be back.

We’re here pretty regularly max as it’s our local. The staff are always super friendly, and the food is consistently very good. Tonight we had the tuna special, and it was cooked to perfection, after Chef personally asked how we’d like it cooked.

We recently held a function at the hotel and I was absolutely blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff were! I spoke with Maia in the lead up to the event, she was so lovely and made the booking seamless. Simon looked after us on the day of the event who was so incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. Even when he was very much under the pump, nothing was too hard for him, he went above and beyond. We also ordered savoury platters for the event which were so delicious and a very generous serving size. Seriously great food and service by the staff at the Pascoe Vale hotel. Thanks guys!

Well done chefs !!! Enjoyed delicious food for my son’s birthday! Linguine pasta was perfect ! The chicken schnitzel was huge! Steaks juicy ! The service was quick - happy all round ! They were busy for a Monday night ……however the head chef took the time to come out to see how our meals were going and join in the birthday song! So good to have a great local pub close by !!!

We had the chicken schnitzel and linguini bolognaise. Both are very generous portions and the linguini was a bit too much. The schnitzel was super tender but it’s a bit lamentable they don’t make more specialised sauce for it, eg mushroom sauce like the one at Universal Cafe. will definitely come back.

We had dinner last night at the Pascoe Vale Hotel, a Chicken Parma and 1/2 Rack of Ribs. The ribs were fantastic, they fell off the bone, had just the right amount of sauce and came with a very generous portion of chips. The chicken was very large for one person, two people with smaller appetites could have shared one serving. Again, it came with a generous serving of well seasoned chips. Overall a great experience and we'll be going back again in the near future.

We had a nice family dinner here, received our orders promptly, nice family atmosphere, reasonable prices, classic pub fare. Wouldn’t usually leave a review but the staff were fantastic & made us and our kids feel very welcome, especially Simon. We will be back after such a positive experience

We had a family lunch at PVH can i just say the service was fantastic the gentleman that greeted us as we walked in was lovely & helpful
(sorry I can’t remember his name) lots of meal options from chef specials to regular menu . And for the month of July they have a Xmas 🎄 in July menu too!
Great pub meals & reasonably priced staff are all lovely & friendly . We will definitely be back. Thank you 🙏🏻

We arrived for a late lunch/early dinner today. Thank you Simon and Chef for an exceptional dining experience. Simon went above and beyond making us feel like VIP guests. We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we were greeted at the bar. Our meals were cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favour and try the Chefs specials. I ordered the Irish Parma - so delicious!!! Thank you chef for the hot jam donuts - this topped off our afternoon perfectly. We will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Visiting Melbourne from Adelaide, and headed to the Pascoe Vale Hotel for dinner.
All of the meals were delicious, not a crumb left on anyone’s plate. Meals came out in good time, staff were very friendly, service was great! We may be back before we head home!

The food is usually really nice and well presented. Good place to watch the footy with the boys. However service is absolutely lacking, some of the staff don’t even seem like they want to be there or are just over it. This has been on going issue with this place been coming here for years.

Steak cooked to perfection, everyone loved their meals. The customer service was also exceptional.... Simon helped us out and was just fantastic! Thanks heaps. :)

Service was average, clearly not enough staff. Waited to be seated whilst the 1 staff person chatted on and on with 1 person. Food was good however a big thumbs down for not being able to take home leftovers. If we pay for the food surely we should be able to take what we can’t eat. We certainly have from all other venues over the past few weeks while visiting.

Lovely place to stop for dinner after a flight. Met family here, food was lovely drinks are great prices, they are also very family friendly and kids night monthly which is a great ides although we had no kids
We got to try there hot jam donuts after dinner which was a nice way to end dinner our lovely evening

I Went for Christmas in July dinner with my mother and sister on a Monday night. I was highly impressed with the friendly and professional front of house staff and the prompt and delicious food.
As someone who works in the hospitality business myself, I deeply appreciated how enjoyable and professional the experience was. Much gratitude to all of the staff involved 🙏

I love the Pascoe Vale Hotel. It never disappoints. The staff are super friendly, service is spot on and the food is always excellent. Parking is easy and the venue always seems to have a great atmosphere. If you haven't been there, you need to give it a go!!

Had the graziers pie today. Fabulous. Service very friendly and helpful. Very cheery staff. Loved it
Can't do new review, but back again. This time would only give 3 stars. Had steak, was fabulous, cooked perfectly but the service terrible.
1st coffee, nearly cold. When ordered next coffee stressed that but still not hot. The cake came out after coffee dram. Not impressed this time at all

Great value buffalo wings! Would have been even more delicious if there was a blue cheese sauce with it. Little bit of a wait for our meals but understandable with the UFC on! Great atmosphere! A sports bar, outdoor beer garden, pokies and bistro - carers for all!

Food Quality: Ordered the Southern Fried Chicken burger ... but i got a Schnitzel/parma style chicken with cheese in a bun ... Pizza was also very bland with lots of cheese
Service: Staff didn't care to ask why our plates are still more than half full when they came to collect ... I also asked for tomatoe sauce 3 times, went to the bar twice to ask for pepper gravy, and still didn't get any.
Atmosphere: Clean and Tidy

Food poisoning this morning doesn't make it very easy to leave a favourable review. It was my first visit to this pub, I had the beef burger which was pretty average. My partner isn't sick but said her chicken smelt funny on her caesar salad. There's not really anything that would draw me back to this venue.

First and likely last time visiting the Pascoe Vale hotel, I don't know if the place is woefully understaffed it wasn't even that busy on a Wednesday night.
Tables not cleared but my biggest issue was 50 minutes for a trio of dips, almost an hour for entree calamari and drinks took almost 30 minutes from ordering.
It was pretty obvious you were prioritising bar orders over the table QR code as we saw orders going out to people who arrived long after us.
If you're not capable or competent to fulfill the table ordering please just remove it.
It was a huge fail, 50 minutes for bread and dips is unacceptable we didn't even receive any apology from the staff regarding the delay.

Enjoyed a lovely hearty Christmas in July dinner tonight. As always the staff are friendly and helpful and the food delicious. Special shout out to the head chef who made fresh light and delicious donuts to finish the meal. Perfect end. See you again soon

Easter Saturday lunch, took the whole family and wish we went for a picnic instead because the amount of ants on our table and flies I thought I was outside.
Chilli and garlic prawns had 2 strands of hair which was very off putting.
Food was amazing but ants, hair and flies were not.
Staff were great but not sure I’d spend another $400 there again.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR 3
Absolutely amazing staff and service. The food was amazing. We know where we are coming next chrissy. Leschelle, Celeste, Tracey, Maia, Kaylee, and the bar staff just the best staff and chef and the best service. Honestly so friendly, and no request was a problem for them Just wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.

Been here twice now and food has always been great. Chef is a very nice and friendly guy.
Our order was grilled salmon, satay chicken, Hawaiian pizza, beef cheeks, and my pvh steak sandwich with beef patty instead of steak which the chef thought was quite funny. All very happy with the taste and portions of food.
Awesome staff, good clean place and a lovely atmosphere
You can get the satay chicken as an entree or mains size as well which worked out well
