We were recommended this pub by our motel the Bluegum and weren’t disappointed. The parmi was great, a bit different with bacon instead of ham but delicious none the less. Service was good and they kept the place super clean between patrons.

We stopped by the Pastoral hotel for dinner as we were passing through on a roadtrip. The kitchen opens at 530am and is located up stairs. It was great that there is an indoor kids play center as we were travelling with a toddler and it was raining outside. You can also eat dinner and watch the kids play. It was a welcoming family friendly environment. We parked on the main street so unsure if there is dedicated parking. We ordered sweet potato chips, pork belly bites and arancini balls to share.

Went here last year and till this day, we still remember it! We utilised the courtesy bus service. The driver was really friendly and engaging, providing us with a bit of his local knowledge which was very much appreciated! The place was modern and the food was fantastic! I ordered the marinated beef ribs, the kids ordered the steak. For dessert, I had the panna cotta, and the kids chose the chocolate cake. That chocolate cake was really really good!!! Would definitely come back here again!!!

Upstairs Reno is lovely. Staff and service were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. Food was good and the live entertainment was great, not too loud. We will definitely go back again.

The food was ok not exceptional but reasonable. The sweet potato chips tasted stale, the fillet steak was tender and mash potato good.

Staff were great, venue was well presented. The drinks were cold and went down a treat! Lastly the food was delicious and fair sized portions, we had an assortment of entrees and mains to pick from unfortunately it all looked so good we forgot to grab any snaps! 😄Would definitely go back and can see why it's the local for the family.

Racist bouncers who refuse an international drivers licence that’s been accepted by police at RBTs and at every pub and club entered in Australian towns and cities for years. Horrible service. Poor attitude. No engagement.

Pastoral Hotel was recommended to us by our B&B. We had a great feed here. Dining area is upstairs with spacious seating arrangements. We can 100% vouch for the arancini balls as a sensational starter. Best we’ve ever had. Pleased to see a wide variety of meals to cater for all tastes. Our choice for the Sunday evening were the lamb shanks and BarraSundi (shame the latter wasn't consumed on a Mond'y). We left as happy chaps with local wines from Orange - a Philip Shaw Chardonnay and a Philip Shaw Merlot.

Nice and lively pub. Family friendly with kids meals and a secure indoor playground for the kids to play. Large dining area upstairs and another area that can be hired out for functions. Good variety in the menu and drinks on tap. The fish was delicious and tasted fresh and battered on site (not frozen)

Meals are much bigger than expectation. We had a chicken parmi and vego pizza and they were monstrous! We bought a small side of chips and they were super larger. We dined upstairs at the restaurant and the venue provided a superb experience. Staff are friendly. Food is amazing. Air conditioning is cool to the climate and the beer is epic

Hotels Courtesy bus picked us up from the motel within 10 mins & dropped us back after dinner. The motel reception gave a high recommendation for the Pastoral Hotel & rightly so. The steaks were well priced and well presented, great burn on the steak & cooked to perfection- just yum 😋 Staff were welcoming.

had surf n turf medium scotch when i first visited it was so good i returned a couple days later with a picky mate of mine as i persuaded him and were served that thing called scotch(angus), medium. idk where they got this thing from and call it angus scotch fillet ? medium ? what a joke aye i don't usually leave without giving another chance but when you show up at the counter as soon as you realized they happily overcooked the meat only to be told "yeah that's how we cook our medium steaks" (the fairly short skinny girl wearing apple watch that takes order, not the prettiest blonde) i just okayed and walk off speechless shaking my head. i wouldn't eat something like that even if you pay me $10, let alone paying you $32. Shame on you for treating keen patrons waited over 30mins before your kitchen even starts. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE GOING AROUND WHEN YOU KNOW WHERE TO GET THE BEST IN TOWN, STICK WITH COMMERCIAL. THEY WILL LET YOU DOWN BUT NOT AS BAD lolololol

Food was excellent (streaks were great), we went on a Monday night and it was busy but we still got a table for 5 and got our food in a reasonable time. I would go back the next time I am in Dubbo.

Food was definitely value for $. Staff were friendly. Atmosphere- was quite noisy, yes there were a few people there, but it was echoey(?). Been a while since I've bought drinks at a pub, $18 for a can of cc and a schooner seemed a little pricey, but could well be today's going prices.. Looks were clean. I would go again.

Dined for dinner. I had 3 crumbed lamb cutlets with sweet potato fries & veges & a few cocktails being an elderflower martini & margarita. Food & drinks were tasty & service friendly. Thank you to Craig for picking us up & returning us back to our motel via the courtesy bus.

Come straight in and head up the stairs to get to the restaurant. Good, solid pub food, just what we hoped it was going to be. We started with the arancini balls followed by the steak fillets. Perfectly cooked as ordered and a really enjoyable meal.

Best feed in sometime. Came here for dinner when I was in town for an overnight stay for work. Not much to look at from the outside, but when you walk in and head up stairs, the atmosphere totally changes. Great looking place with some traditional pub meals on the menu. Reasonably priced and the servings are huge. Great for families too with an inside play area for the kids. Will come back again next month when I bring the family up!

After being impressed with the restaurant and the friendly staff, it was VERY disappointing to have what may be the worst meal I have had in my 74 years. My son and I shared the Scallops and the Salt and Pepper Squid (supposedly house coated). The scallops (roe off) were just edible but the Squid which turned up BLACK with no coating was totally INEDIBLE. We both had a small piece and I would have spat it out if were weren't in the restaurant. Even the Tartare sauce made NO difference. On the plus side, the meals that my wife, Daughter-in law and grand daughter had were OK. My wife and I stayed in the downstairs bar for the football and again the staff were friendly and hospitable.
