Was nice and clean and easy to walk straight into. The girl serving me couldn’t really understand what I was saying. Coke in glass was terrible, tasted weird with no fizz. Cheesy garlic bread was ok, calamari was big but kinda watery, schnitzel was over cooked and chewy and the sauce was foul tasting, also chips were all over cooked. I’d try one more time just to see if it was a bad day. Also very reasonably priced and fast service

This place has always been one of my favourites…not just because of the food but also because of the excellent service. I was very impressed with the sizes of plates you get for a low price!
Great live bands on Fridays and Saturdays, great atmosphere and great great people!
They always have great drink deals too!

The young girls behind the bar are pretty , but if they served first and then played on their phones after ..it would be better 😁😁

The smell of the toilets, all the male toilets, is so disgusting. It was all too much to while having a beverage & meal. Staff r Great.

The lady that works late at night in gaming is absolutely amazing, I found her to be so very helpful and funny! Great staff member

Staff seem like they're on the methadone program, especially the older junkiev looking lady. Coconut security always bludging cigarettes off the patrons.

Only used the pokies. This is one of those pubs where the pokies area is smoker friendly however you may be inundated with smoke by your neighbour due to how the ventilation and air movement works. Otherwise a wide assortment of games.

Only come here for the bistro (J’s Kitchen) the service from the manager (old Aussie lady) is appalling. She seems to be high on drugs (she kept sniffing her nose and wiping it) or just out of it as her service is disgusting. I asked if she was making cocktails (there’s a menu for cocktails at the bar near the bistro) she answered “NAH, NOT ME” followed by “YOU WANT A COCKTAIL GO TO THE OTHER BAR.” Sounds like she was just lazy and overwhelmed with 2 other people there waiting to order… it wasn’t just this time every time I’m served by her it’s as if she’s doing me a bloody favour. For a small time pub you’d think the manager would be trained on customer service but clearly not. Most of the other young girls are fine but she’s honestly a mess.

Its a very nice place to go form a party and functions like birthday parties and thay have a 24 meat tray midway through the week just for a five dollar amount to go into the raffle

It's an old school pub, a bar a place to sit and drink, the restaurant is good food, and good for the family, the bistro is kid friendly. Some pokies as you would normally find in a pub. Out door drink and smoke area and gaming

Friendly pub. We had lunch there. Food reasonably price, meals are big, good variety. Parking on sites, also across the road from the train station

Extremely dissapointing, went sent our drinks back because they were disgusting, second lot of drinks were no better and were left untouched.
Our group of 5 didn't finish any of our meals, two of the group who had seafood had explosive diarea later after the meal. A medium steak was cooked to a constant grey colour right thru. I tried one of my Wifes prawn cutlets and had to spit it out due to the rotten seafood taste of it. Basically if you have a cast iron stomach then give it a try, you may have better luck that we did.
On the plus side, the garlic bread was very nice but not good enough to redeem the place from the abomination that we received.

Awesome pub, great Staff, awesome atmosphere, nice bistro attached. Cheap drinks and overall great fun. Opposite Pendle Hill Train Station. 5 out of 5

A good pub, when you are over the city Swank pubs and want an old fashioned watering hole this is it, conveniently close to the station not pretentious. Good pub food OK beer selection on tap.
