What to say! The food is spot on, 2/2 times I have left feeling completely satisfied!! The chefs know their craft, they communicate, they present beautifully and above all else, they show their passion!

We held team drinks here last week in The Abbey. Natalia was so easy to deal with and nothing was too much trouble when booking. The staff on the night were amazing and the space was perfect for our needs. Would definitely recommend for a work group.

Trendy yet very earthy and cosy. The food and the service were also great. Will definitely go back there.

Top shelf across the board - food was amazing (potato scallops with vinegar salt a well as fig and blue cheese pizza…YUMM!!!) as was the service and atmosphere! Great location too!!

The staff will strictly require every visitor to scan the QR Code to protect everyone's health. I think this is very good. The meals are delicious, and the bartender will also recommend some alcoholic beverages to the customers. It is also very suitable for birthday parties.

Sunday lunch/afternoon sessions are great. Everything about the place is quality. From the friendly but professional, efficient staff, service, excellent fine home-style food (and inexpensive) great ambiance/atmosphere. Great live music (jazz band was playing great tunes and not over-loud) Good mixture of crowd from young to mature and no idiots, louts & hoons allowed, so perfect if you want to take kids. The overall experience of the bar/restaurant is ten out of ten for me.

Such a hidden gem. Great service and overall atmosphere. Asked for some surprise cocktails and definitely pleased with their choices! The food was also delicious. Definitely recommend this place highly :)

Smells like an old school pub as you walk in but 10 steps in the smell is gone & the menu is explored!
Food was good. We had: gnocchi, beef & Guinness pie, Caesar salad, sweet potato chips & beans.
Service is friendly & professional.
Decor is quirky.

Partner and I went here last night for dinner, wasn’t anything to rave about, I understand you only have the one chef but the menu is super basic. The wine and beer were the best things. When a bug landed in my wine they did give us a new glass which was nice. Probably won’t be back anytime soon

Not a place for me but you may like it. Brand new inside, outdoor smoking area. The girls behind the bar not only look like they don't know what they are doing, they act it too. Bit steep on the price of tap beer

Nice $12 Burgers at lunch. Darkly lit place, mirror maze near the few Pokies, ATM & TAB machines. Corner outside smoking can’t hear the music. Nice place.

I recently celebrated my sister's birthday at Penny's Hotel, and it was an outstanding experience. The pre-booking service was excellent, thanks to Taylor, who managed our booking and walked us through the venue and package options. The renovated space is cozy and perfect for any celebration. The food was delicious, and we had the freedom to play our own music, which added a personal touch to the party. The service at the bar was awesome, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I was so impressed that I've decided to celebrate my birthday here as well, and I've already recommended it to friends. Keep up the great work, guys!

Interior is very inviting and so are the staff members. Really enjoyed the hospitality. I was here for a group lunch and all of us had really good time. Drinks are reasonably priced. Food is a little pricy but matched its taste and quality. Venue is a stone's throw away from the railway station which it perfect for after event commute.

I made a group booking for my friends hens party at the New Hampton Hotel and it was great. Peter answered all my questions promptly in the lead up, we had a cosy area to ourselves downstairs and the food came out really quick and was delicious. The staff on the night really looked after us, I couldn't fault anything! Would highly recommend for your next event

I arrived at 8.59pm and was told the kitchen was open so I ordered fish. About 3 minutes later I was told they didn’t want to make it because the kitchen was closed. Appalling service. Don’t bother with this glorified TAB

Had my 30th here recently at the Abbey and it was amazing. Such a nice room and great food and drinks options. The team set up the table in a big square so we could all speak with each other the whole night. They also kindly stayed open for us even when there was almost no one else around because of covid, which is very unfortunate. Great option for your next birthday for sure! Thanks guys.

Great venue for hosting an event, the room was nicely decorated to feel cosy and private. The canapes were delicious, beef sliders are a must have! Shout out to Megan who is a wonderful organiser who ran everything smoothly and professionally.

First time since the reno. Great food and service but still trying to get my head around the new layout and interior decoration. Will definitely come again!

Don't try to charge people extortion for pepper sauce (extra)with a steak special then basically tell them where to go when they simply question it. Been coming here for years but sad on the reopening they hire a rude English backpacker devoid of any level of customer service..won't be back

Came here to catch up with a friend over a drink and it was very quiet when we arrived (around 2pm on a Saturday). Staff were friendly and drinks came quickly. Looks like the place was undergoing renovations so parts seemed blocked off. Ambience wasn't there as a result but in any case we did still have a good time catching up.

Best food around Kings X!! The Beef and Guinness Pie with mash and Peas is the perfect feed on a Sunday....or any day...loved it!!!

Ben, one of the managers was fab. He was very knowledgeable on the gin that the pub stocked. He certainly can make a great g&t. We have come back a few times since and have recommended to our friends.

As GM of Sales for Rawson Homes, we recently held our Sales Awards dinner at this fabulous venue, the experience was wonderful. the Staff were attentive, experienced, customer service focused. food was spectacular and i would recommend this venue highly.

10/10. Amazing foods can’t go past beef& Guinness pie, fig pizza and the potato scallops.
