Used to be Flanagans but now trading as The Pier has had a recent facelift with its main bar presenting a modern yet slightly sophisticated feel with a touch of industrial. Tank beer is a great touch with other great craft beers/alcohol varieties (yummy cocktails) all under one roof at great prices.
The Pier also accommodates a pool table, function rooms for hire, night club, gaming room and TAB areas.
From 11am-8am you can enjoy all different aspects of this hotel as your local or just passing through.

They gotta do something about the sports bars toilets, it always smells. It's been like this for years and yet management aren't doing anything about it.

The toilets, the Gavsbies, the Hudsons, the Good Hard Working people. The toilets are amazing. The Guinness is always a great 💯 pour too! #happyrugbyleague

The screaming jets were rocking!! Smashed it!! The support band were brilliant as well! AMAZING MUSIC!!! Great crowd, the bar staff were fab & security were a scream at the end of the night! (Loved you guys) It's my new fave place when I visit aus!!!

The Pier is more of a grungy chilled atmosphere we really enjoy going here to catch live sports. The staff are friendly and they lots a great beer specials. They don't do meals just very simple bar snacks that wash down well with your beer but there's plenty of good food spots near by.

Staff and management are always amazing here, and there is always a great concert or show happening the old 21st century is still one of the best concert venues south East of Melbourne couldn't recommend highly enough get your tickets and support our music and hospitality industry

Sound is a bit messy. Super loud if down on the floor. Speakers need to be more spread around. The bar set up is very time consuming. Need either more staff, more efficient staff, or a smaller wait area to keep order accurate. So many people were being ignored for ages whilst new people would get served straight away. Brought the whole mood down. Venue itself however is great in size and layout.

Poor venue… Got into an altercation with a English fella and told the manager, they said talk to the security guard at the front door, security was sitting there playing on his phone! Didn’t even hear me, 15th of April at around 2:20am if you own the facility get better security!

Lovely, helpful & friendly staff... They have great drink prices 🍻🍷🍸🍺 🍹 & very nice coffee ☕ too. Just enough pokies to enjoy & share, but I do wish that playing pool was only $2 a game, not $3, If so, I think everyone would play more then ... I really love playing Poker on Friday nights best 🕖 ♠♥♣♦ 😁

It was quiet when I went the security guard was not in uniform rather sit behind the bar and at the table on his phone then what he suppose to beer was ok

It was fabulous, clean and organised. Staff were fun and professional. My father and I had a father daughter date so it was during lunch time hours on a Friday. It was busy but not hectic which gave the gaming area some awesome vibes without being too much. Good job Pier hotel!

I came to this venue to have a couple of drinks with friends and to have a good time. We went up to the bar to order a couple of beers to get rejected because we were apparently too intoxicated which wasn’t the case. The lady with the red hair which I believe was the manager kept giving us dirty looks. I went to the bathroom to have one of the staff follow me in to see what I was doing which was extremely unnecessary. I felt as if I had the staff looking over my shoulder the whole time. Won’t be visiting again.

Had our staff Xmas function here and it was a HIT! We hired the back bar function room and it was the perfect location and size we needed.
We had a total of 70-80 guests turn up on the night and a great crew of bar tenders and security making sure the night was the best it could be.
I even got to set up my own Lolly table which was a hit with guests.
I will definitely be recommending this place, specifically for functions, in the future!

Great local pub been stopping past this pub for few years now. Tbh it just keeps getting better the food meals also the service is always 100%

Do yourself a favour let the team at the pier Frankston host you for some great gigs on the bayside .
Signing up some fine local/ international talent . The bar staff will get a cold frothy in ya hand before you can say thanks . Do you self a favour and go have a night locally.

Decent local pub, centrally located with an alright selection of drinks. Was great for watching UFC ppv as the screens were large and well located.

Can't comment on the bar part, but the pier bandroom was top notch. Quick entry, minamal waiting for a drink in a busy venue, facilities well maintained and the sound system was great!
