Went for mothers day dinner.
The steak was so tender and juicy, mash was creamy and smooth.
The pasta was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The salad was fresh with perfectly cooked and juicy chicken.
Absolute favourite pub!

We had booked a table for fathers day and we were glad we did as it got really busy. But we could see why, the food was absolutely delicious! It ticked all the boxes for our family from wide selection of food, good prices, indoors in the cool and had a playground for our toddler while we waited, which wasn't long at all! Will definitely be going back!

We are locals and do like the atmosphere however it's a miss and hit with food service. This time it was a big miss. Food was tastless and chips cold and terrible. Expensive Ribs, steak sandwich and chicken pamayana and pasta were not seasoned. We couldn't finish our meals as we were dissatisfied.
Maybe next time the food will be more satisfying. Sorry guys.

We always order 1kg Rump steak every Monday.The food always cook delicious and fresh.Thanks Chefs good cooking ,🤗thanks waitress too.

Was there for a birthday.
The food was disgusting 🫣 the prawns felt boiled. The steak was medium rare, not medium well, I sent it back and it came back to me well done. Like wtaf.
The parmi looked nice but was tough and the garlic sauce tasted like blue cheese sauce 😕 😫

Very nice Tavern!!! first time visiting for family/ friends Anniversary Celebrations!! Lovely Beer Garden Great play area for the young toddlers / has a very nice calming feel about it !!!/ Staff very friendly & helpful / lovely decor in Tavern !! Great food / large meals !!! If you need a pits stop I suggest the Pimpama Tavern!!

This tavern, like most, is separated with pokies and gaming and a family restaurant eating area. The kids play area is small. The tavern is situated in a mall parking area. Lots of parking available. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. Large screens for the footie. The venue can accommodate large events. Wheelchair friendly. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a cover seating area outside. ATM on site.

The tavern was very busy on a Saturday but we had booked so there wasn't a problem.
The table we sat on (18 or 19) was a bit wonky, and moved and shook our drinks around everytime we moved our hands or arms.
The menu was great and had lots to choose from. The prices were reasonable and the meal sizes were good too. Waiting in line to order, I noticed a lot of meals getting served and they looked great.
The meals took a while to arrive, around 30 to 40 minutes.
I had the beef brisket burger and it was delicious 😋 it was very difficult to eat and fell apart as I ate it, so mostly I ate it with a fork and knife. The beef was so good.
The parmigiana was a great serving, as was the fish and chips. I would have liked some sauce with the chips.

The food was amazing. Ceasar Salad was the best I've had in years on the Gold Coast. Taste buds were not disappointed & the dressing OMG was divine.. other dishes we had at the table were steak sandwich & that was delicious and the chicken snitzle was delicious also. Awesome serving size. Staff were friendly & helpful.

The food is good and portion sizes decent. Customer service I feel has dropped in recent times.
It's always clean but I feel like there needs to be another drawcard on say weekends eg a live music act would be great or any kind of music in the background to liven things up a bit as the atmosphere can be a bit dull.

Staff were incredible, no doubt there. Just the venue itself is the most bland 'carbon copy' of modern tavern that honestly has no atmosphere. Didn't try the food.

Service was friendly and the food came out really fast, food portions were huge and very reasonably priced! Great play area for the kids.

Pretty standard fare for an establishment in a largecshopping centre with a captive audience. Lots of retirees enjoying the 10% discount. A good range of beers on tap but I've never been in a pub or tavern that had no squash. Staff were friendly and there were plenty of seats available. The chips were next level great. Crunchy, well seasoned and tasted of potato in the soft pillowy centre. BUT and yes it's a BIG but, the steak sandwich, which was apparently rib fillet according to the menu, was tough, small, grissely and tasted a lot like blade steak in texture and toughness. The Turkish bread could've been ok if it'd been toasted on a clean grid, instead of tasting like it'd never been cleaned. At $17 it appears to be value but unfortunately it wasn't.

Ordered this absolutely delicious looking mexican parmigiana, just to cut in open in the middle and it’s COMPLETELY RAW. Most of the inside was all red and pink, that even the waitress who we gave it back to was in complete shock when she saw the state of the parmigiana. Although they did provide us with a free meal to replace it (which I was very grateful for), I was still completely distraught by this experience. I definitely do not recommend this place, but if you do go, make sure to check your chicken before you eat it! Apart from this, we had a great time.

Not the best atmosphere or service (it’s not bad either). But the food is fantastic and well priced. The place is very tidy.

Nice big, fresh, family-friendly casual pub. Good menu, tasty food served quick. Not cheap, but my husband said that was more than fine because the food was good. The Pokie room is ok, bit loud, but nothing too bad. Car parking is great.

Lunch specials Monday to Friday are good value. Took my senior parents for meal and they enjoyed the food. My wife and I were disappointed with the chilli and prawn pizza as there was maybe 4 prawns on the whole thing and it was $29. Play find the prawn in the photo like we did.

Live down the road but hadn't been in 2 years. Now I remember why. Food was pitiful. Packet rice. PACKET RICE was served with my main partners burger had soggy bacon and mothers meal was undercooked pork. Daughter noticed that a support on the playground had broken and a kid had screws from it. Informed staff and nothing was done. Kids still allowed to play with no gate. Service was also not great having booked a table but had obviously not reserved one nor put a high chair as asked in the booking. Had to go find it myself.

I have visited quite regularly & congratulate you on your seniors meals & specials, they are a great size, taste delicious & very reasonable in price. Your staff are great especially one lady (Helen). Having been in the hotel industry in the past I have noted how observant, efficient & always a smile she is certainly an asset as an employee.

I enjoy coming here but the last 2 times I have been here the food has missed the mark. Medium rare steak that wasn’t quite medium rare and came out cold, was overcharged at the bar then refunded after I enquired. Not a reflection on the overall experiences I have had here which are usually great, just a couple of minor issues on an individual level that can be improved.

Had dinner last night
Ordered the warm winter salad $25 with extra chicken $6
First impressions when the salad arrived was very underwhelming and disappointing.
The portion was so small, perhaps like a side portion with no dressing on it, only a few bits of roasted vegetables on it.
Looks like a kitchen hand that made it.
Come on guys
For a total of $31 salad
It could have been made better!
Very very disappointing

Group of 3 for lunch. It was nice & quiet, lots of tables and greeted warmly by staff member. Able to sit where we wanted & ordered our meals which arrived reasonably quick. Great peaceful lunchtime atmosphere and pleased with our meals. Really enjoyed the experience ☺️

Great place to eat, all the staff were very welcoming.
Definitely value for money.
Hubby really enjoyed his mushroom sauce.
Kids menu was perfect.
Very busy but standard was excellent.
Will be back.

Dropped in for a drink and lunch bought 2 x stones ginger beers $27.80 ??? Took a look at the meal prices and decided to go elsewhere. Went to the saltwater tavern and paid $9.40 each for the same drinks and got a steak chips and salad for $15, less than 1/2 the price this place is asking. You need to review your prices or you’re going to scare people like us away !

Absolutely horrendous, as a Pimpama local I have had the same experience several times, with this establishment. The only reason I gave it another chance. My partner had a $50 voucher she had won. The service is terrible, we had a table booked for over a week, have two young kids. Table wasn't reserved some how. The excuse was. " HONEST MISTAKE". had one week to sort it out!.
The food is absolutely s@#t and over priced. My kids fish n chips was literally frozen fish from woolies/Coles, and smelt like a dumpster. Absolutely disgusted with this establishment. The owner/ management have a lot to fix!

13/3/2024 - update to old review.
Had the 300g steak, chicken Mango Salad and bruschetta.
Steak was greatly improved from my last review. Bruschetta was a good size and tasted very good.
The Chicken Mango Salad.
The chicken was moist, but the whole thing was very tasteless even with about 7 small cubes Mango. Wouldn't recommend the Salad.
That is close to Med to Well done, but not correct for a $38 steak. Still tasted alright though.
Just don't order the Steak Dianne sauce/gravy unless you like it tasting like pumkin soup. Someone needs to adjust their ingredients. (13/3/2024 - Tastes good now)
I don't know who's idea that was, but that's the only sauce I have and have never in my life tasted a version like that.
A 45 minute wait on a Friday at 7pm.
Staff were friendly though.
I would still recommend and will be back and order plain gravy.
