We recently popped in for their roast of the day for a quick lunch. Atmosphere is great and the staff friendly. Unfortunately the lamb roast was very, very poor. The vegies and gravy fine however the meat was simply inedible. I suspect not roasted at all, rather cheap mutton steamed in a commercial oven. Gray, tough and smelt and tasted awful. We will try other items in the future however that meat should never have been served and indicates a lack of care in the kitchen.

We recently had an event at Pineapple Hotel and had a fantastic time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great, and the food was delicious.
What really impressed me, though, was the management. The manager, Stacey, went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and that customers were happy. Her professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout our visit.
We'll definitely be returning in the future!

Went there for the $21 Friday 300g steak dinner, and it was top notch! Quick service and the chips came out freshly and perfectly cooked. - Nothing better than fresh chips!
Will definitely be coming again.

We have now had 2 Birthday functions at the Pineapple Hotel this year and both times were very happy with the organization, friendly service and food we received. The platters for the large gathering were great with plenty of everything and were delivered on time and staff were friendly and obliging. On the 2nd event the lunches were their usual tasty, good size serves and plenty to choose from. Great atmosphere for both smaller family as well as larger gatherings. THANKS TO ALL!!

We had the family dinner here last night, the steak was very good, strongly recommend, 125$ for 1kg tomahawk steak, I take more people comeback again.

Very nice and big pub restaurant. Had the lamb risoles from the $14 lunch menu. Flavour was amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend, especially the $14 and $18 lunch menus.

True pub meals! Great parmies, roasts, bangers and mash. Monday nights $20, 300 gram steak's a winner. Especially if you have boys to feed! The meat is consistently spot on - (medium rare is always medium rare) there is a range of areas to sit. And!!! They have bottled sarsaparilla 🤗

Took my mate to the pub for Superbowl!
Great at $28 for 2x 200g Steaks and $25 for a bucket of Budweiser!
The staff looked ready for game day in their NFL jerseys - shout outs to the chicks at the bar!

Thursday night $14 Rumps for dinner oh yeah!!
Steak cooked perfectly for how we like it and a $13 Kids Meal that was bigger than my mine, you can't go wrong!!
Always good food here and lovely staff too!

This is my go-to place recently for the steak specials.
First up, this place must serve the most fantastic piece of rump steak I have had so far in Brisbane. I'm personally not a big fan of rump steaks because they can be very dry; and unless the person making it knows how to do it well, they always end up a bit overcooked.
However, the rump steak at Pineapple Hotel always turn out the correct doneness that I wanted.
The steak is juicy and flavourful, and the chips are nice and crunchy with every bite.
I'd highly recommend the Pineapple Hotel. If you rock up on a steak night, you'd have scored yourself a fantastic deal! 😋

The Pineapple Hotel is a perfect place to celebrate any occasion. I couldn't have been happier with our choice for my birthday lunch on a Sat afternoon. The hotel has a relaxed, casual, and laid-back family atmosphere. The food is fresh and tasty, served in generous portions and nicely presented to the table on stylish white crockery. Staff are all super friendly, polite and welcoming and the service is fast and efficient.
There are multiple dining areas inside and outside, with regular tables or high bar stool type seating. It’s spacious and airy with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. There's also a little playground to keep the kids occupied. We sat on the outdoor terrace with views onto the park just outside.
The hotel has two special lunch menus, which can be a bit confusing, but the prices are unbelievably reasonable. Our main meals cost a modest $14 each, and that included the roast of the day, beef burgers, and barramundi burgers. There's also a kids' menu with meals costing $13 each and desserts for $14. Pints of beer are $10 each. The value for money is unbeatable, even though the price points seem a bit inconsistent, with desserts costing as much as main meals. The hotel should consider lowering the price of desserts to make the pricing more consistent.
There are also nightly specials in addition to the large selection of lunch deals.
The toilets are clean and well maintained, and there's easy parking, either in the venue's own car park or in any nearby street. This makes it the perfect place for a fantastic fun and hassle-free day or night out with family or friends.
I will definitely be back to the Pineapple Hotel. Thanks to all the staff who made my birthday lunch on Sat 04 Nov so enjoyable.

The Pineapple hotel has become my regular local pub and it’s mainly for the $20 Sunday/Monday 300g Black Angus rump special - it is simply the best pub steak special you can find. The steak is always cooked near perfection, it’s my favourite creamy mushroom sauce in Brisbane, and the chips and salads are both fantastic - 10/10 meal that keeps me coming back. I’ve had the Thursday $15 200g rump a couple of times too and whilst it’s not the same quality cut as the black angus it’s still an absolute steal in price and quality. I’ve eaten at the Steakhouse once and the steak selection was great but I much prefer the relaxed vibe of the Garden Bar, lovely to sit both inside and out, and excellent place to watch sport with endless screens. Service is fantastic, they pump meals out, can be very busy even on a Monday night but have always found a table. $9.90 Green Beacon pints are a winner too.

The food was really good, it just need some small adjustments for my taste but not a big deal, a little bit less of butter in the bread an some more minutes in the oven, less onion in the burger, because it’s too sweet (I just took it out) The steak was in the point and the burger was good as well. I love when I go to a restaurant and they have paper straws, that shows somebody is trying to do something better for the environment!

The $14 steak lunch special is the absolute best around. Can't beat it. Good quality steak, decent amounts of chips and salad and a sauce to go along. Only improvement could be nailing the mushroom sauce a little better, but that's not major. Great spot for a lunch time feed and drink!

Quiet Tuesday afternoon, ordered a pint and a parmi for $41. Staff were friendly however very very average food. This parmi costs $27, with the additional sauce I paid for served in a plastic cup? I’d suggest going elsewhere for food. Would be a fun sports pub though.

Perfect place to have dinner before going to the Gabba to watch the footy! There was heaps of football fans there both Brisbane Lions fans and Melbourne Demons fans enjoying meals together before the footy match at the Gabba really recommend this place. The atmosphere was great and the food was sensational for pub grub. Thanks guys. See you next game.

Nice for a pint of beer! An amazing view with great prices!
Edit: I tried the food, OMG amazing! The steak was prepared perfectly and I really had a nice dinner.
If you can, stop here for a beer and their staff will be amazing and nice 🫶🏽

My husband and I meet our friends and dine here on LIONS home game days. We enjoy the food which is reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. It can get quite noisy however and it makes it difficult to make conversation.

Had a really nice early dinner here with the steak special. It was yummy! Meat was cooked a little bit over but still tender and pleasant. Chips was hot and crispy and salad was fresh. Overall great experience. They have different meal deals throughout the week and prices are very good. Heaps of indoor and outdoor seats with big TVs for sports. Parking was easy around that time of the afternoon so it wasn’t a problem. Would recommend!

Got the $35 T-bone steak on specials on a Saturday night. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was very juicy. The Diane sauce was excellent in complementing the steak. The serving of chips and salad was quite generous. I would totally visit again. Thanks for the great food.

Food was great and cheap. One staff member I encountered when I ordered was rude and not welcoming. $19 for a beer was a little bit much.

Excellent atmosphere created by a good band. Extremely efficient professional staff. An absolute credit to themselves and management. High quality reasonably priced food. A real delight to spend the whole afternoon and evening at this establishment. Five old and jaded hotel professionals from another group could not fault the Pineapple Hotel experience on Sunday. We will definitely be back. Thankyou.

Discovered this little dinner special by pure accident. Got the $13 plus $6 for prawns 200grm rump special. Cooked medium rare as asked, salad fresh and chips hot and crunchy. Simple food done well.
**UPDATE
Went back and had a Parmy and Lasagna. Both pretty solid again.

Dinner in The Garden Room last night. My friends had the $21 steak and were very happy with their meals. I had the lamb shank. The shank meat and the mash were good but both the peas and carrots were cold and the carrots were so hard I’m not sure they had been cooked? Chose this meal as I had recent dental surgery and thought it easier to eat than a steak. For $29.50 I had the meat and mash but the other veggies were tasted but finished up pretty well untouched on my plate. Nice venue and the AFL was on but a tad disappointed in my choice last night😞

Decent pub for a drink , very good Guinness and staff seem friendly.
Food is mediocre and bland however. Had an average steak and some terrible tasteless chicken wings .

All I can say is PHENOMENAL!
Had the beef ribs huge as portion, extremely great table service. Will be stopping in again for an awesome feed
My third visit 13 Nov for dinner I ordered my fave BEEF RIBS. Thank you to the chef for going out of his way by adding extra portion of beef rib cos I love it soooo much (I requested extra portion) Honestly the staff are fantastic, see you guys again😎😋😋😋😋😋😋

$20 for each of these 300g rumpies on a Tuesday is a freakin' steal. Don't tell the people who own this pub they are selling them too cheap. They mustn't realise. 🤫
