Would love to know when the food services are on the website or when looking it up. Unfortunately you have to call up or go in to find out.
The past two visits have been really good. Food well cooked and delicious.
Some of the staff aren't super friendly. Others are very nice.

We've been coming in regularly on a Monday for a girls catch up, Paula is fantastic and always looks after us!

We really enjoyed going here with the kids they loved the playground especially the older one, maybe the app for the tables need to be updated and changed as we were told a few people have issues with it I did last night I clicked on food to order for the kids and it only ordered ours only, then our kids didn’t get to eat free, but maybe next time will be better, the burger I had looked so good and tasted delicious the pattie was a bit charred and got hard when I left it for a bit, maybe if I can ask the staff to smile a bit more it might make it a little more comfortable. We will be back again.

This is an oldie but a goodie.
Been updated since I had visited in the early 2000.
I was lucky to accompany a participant for an outing for lunch.
Food was delivered promptly, great extra food bar either salads or vegetables.
Premises was very neat and the atmosphere was great.
I've taken one star off for the bland fish in which I had for lunch. Hake I believe.. but other than that.. I will definitely return.
Staff were absolutely fantastic... I wish other Taverns had such lovely staff.. and that is why I rate this Tavern overall 9.5 outta 10. Fantastic. Thank you for having us.

The staff were lovely and so helpful. The food was very average. One of my group was a vegetarian, she couldn't eat the veggie burger. The pub itself is really nice inside, looks a little off putting from the outside. Not a huge selection on the menu anymore, which is a shame.

Thanks for bringing back the bay marines. However, not sure the new menu is improved.. Gluten Free items are NOT on the menu.. and the staff wasn't even sure what any options were. Had to go to the restaurant to ask.
Schnitzel favourite Ned Kelly is now absent and the portions seems to be smaller.
Pretty disappointing for what used to be one of my favourite pubs around the corner.

Some of your older staff have really bad attitudes towards paying customers and towards your younger staff,
This arrogance and disregard for presentation really added to my score.
The creamy garlic was lovely.
The table wasn’t clean when seated and the staff made that my fault, but prompts it was cleaned quickly.
Lots of room to improve. I’d start with staffing.

Really nice and a great price. Friendly staff, great food, great atmosphere and even room service. I'm very happy with my experience and I'll be back

Our family had Christmas Lunch here today - my husband, our 2 boys, my Mum and Dad, and my brother. Across us all we had all offerings for each course, and we all found it to be beautiful food, generous servings, great service by Jo and the whole team, a lovely relaxed time with Christmas music in the background but not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Gave my Mum and I a Christmas off from prepping and catering - we'll definitely be back again! Thank you Playford Tavern and hope you all have a lovely Christmas when you get home!

Myself and a few family and friends frequent the Playford for a catch up and a meal last Tuesday we had such a great time the meals were awesome , salad bar and veggie bar was the best I've seen, great staff great night, I couldn't fault our night. Outstanding

Just had the Lobster and Steak special and I'm not impressed the lobster was stone cold and the steak was warm at best, When I asked for my money back for the lobster the manager basically threw the money down on the table in front of me. I eat here probably once a fortnight if not more and I ALWAYS order my Steak Medium Well done and Mostly it comes out cooked correctly but sometimes it comes out cooked incorrectly.

In my honest opinion the Playford tavern has one of the best burgers around the area. I have had it multiple times and it's consistently good. The decor could do with an update but the staff give great service that makes up for it overall. Give the fast food restaurants a miss and visit the Playford tavern for the kari burger you won't be disappointed.

I never leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed I have to. One young man on the bar and serving was a delight. He didn’t have a tag. Unfortunately everything else was very disappointing. We did not eat with our family as our meals came out when everyone else had eaten and took well over an hour and a half to come out. The coleslaw was missing from my meal and when corrected had no taste at all. My LLB was just Soda water and very unpleasant someone else had uncooked schnitzel. I discarded both. I left hungry and thirsty. I tried a cocktail and it was mostly froth. Caitlin did not want to be there. I overheard a lot of people commenting on her miserable and grumpy attitude. She seemed inconvenienced about having to do her basic duties and loudly huffed after she asked someone to move who was taking a birthday photo and they didnt stop to let her walk through instead of her just walking around a 4 person table. Rude and obnoxious. Toilets were clean and kids enjoyed the playground.

I am a regular at this pub and the red headed lady I think her name is deb tonight was so rude. Asked for a drink and she was mumbling under neither her breath with rude words, I asked her to change some money for me and she again mumbling under her breath if she has such a hard job doing her job maybe she shouldn't work there she does this regularly she's always rude to customers I have even seen her do it to elderly people also I'll be taking this as far as it can go its beyond a joke when she's done it more then a hand full of times
Would NOT RECOMMEND this pub to anyone while she is working

Great place filled with lovely staff. Clean and spacious accommodation with great food and service. The night shift manager Joel was amazing. She even extended my check-out time at no cost. I highly recommend this place and will come back again. May your business thrive and grow even more.

Great new menu and loving the salad and veg bar. Awesome to keep the kids entertained aswell with the playground

Great facilities, great food, my only issue is that there are no cooking facilities in the accommodation. At the very least a microwave would be nice

Food is delicious. Good value for money. The new salad bar is excellent. Kids love the play area, although it can get very noisy.

Food from the kitchen was alright but the self service vegetables made me and my mother inlaw quite sick as we ended up with food poisoning.

FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT. I don't want to cook but my darling child doesn't eat anything except tempura nuggets and chips. She might have some veggies from my plate. Even better, they're the dinosaur ones that are a favourite!!! I loved my burger and chips, it was a perfect amount of chips for me.
The little playground was brilliant and service was lovely, thank you

Being belittled by the staff is unreal. Being told ‘under no circumstance can we do that’ for asking for a single piece of fish. Manager made a scene over It and I have no clue why

Ate here tonight for my nieces 4th birthday. The meals were inconsistent errors in meals and long wait times. Food was average to say the least. And it wasn’t packed out tonight either. They did say they were short staffed but still the table beside us had 3 x meals one came out and the other 2 were well after. Service was poor tonight. I won’t be back.

An average menu for average prices. If you have a family with young children, you may like it for the veggie buffet.

Always friendly staff. Very accommodating. Can get pretty loud. But that is because it's popular
