We’ve driven past this place so many times and finally decided to give it a go. We’ve ordered a platter to share. Good portion size. Reasonable prices. Foods was ridiculously tasty. Good place to enjoy American style Bbq food.

Went to the Bayswater eatery for first time, have been many times to their previous location in Gosnells. The service the food is on point as always food portions are great Soo make sure go on empty stomach. Pork belly bites on point. Brisket is damn juicy it pulls apart effortlessly,pulled pork is never a miss. But save room for dessert as the pies are to die for have had them all cherry and keylime are always a favourite.

We have been here 3 times now and each time has been good! Great value for money compared to other bbq type places. The food comes out within a decent time, they have a play area for kids too which was actually why we came here the first time. I'd probably keep this in mind if you are wanting a quiet relaxing environment because this place is not it haha, we love it with our kids but others may not. The food each time has been great no complaints there, the portions are good and if your getting a dessert those portions are very giving!
Most recent visit we dined with group of 15 and no issues. I can't remember the name of the guy but he's been mentioned a few times in a negative way but I have to say we disagree. Everytime time we have been, he has been good to us. I mean he's not overly friendly but he's happy to seat us and answer questions or give us info, nothing negative to say about him. I'd happily recommend this place for families with children or anyone that can tolerate kids lol we will be back again 😀 thanks Porkies

Very good food ,lot of taste and flavour, great quantity ! I couldn’t even finish my plates. But no worries you can take away your left over food. Staff very friendly.
Nice American touch well decorated.

This place is such a vibe!! Service from start to finish - amazing! The food quality - super fresh and hot, large servings. The lady at the bar taking orders, super friendly and polite and the gentleman who served the food, super friendly and polite explaining everything. There's even little playground for the kids. Massive credit to the owners and staff. Def be back 10/10

This is a very American place in Perth with such a great taste.
I had 500g of pork ribs with coleslaw salad, a very flavourful smoked rice and a beer, I smashed all of it myself.
My partner is almost vegan, so she went only for dessert, Pecan pie with ice-cream, I tried too, it was delicious.
I'd definitely recommend Porkies BAR-B-QUE to my friends and family, the staff are very friendly and they definitely add A LOT to the great atmosphere of this place, I will definitely come back.

They were mash potatoes with too much mustard sauce. Ribs were nice, as well as chicken and pork. Had enough food for 4 people with 2 plates. Watermelon was not fresh.

They got this American vibe and it turned out highly satisfying. They had us at bottomless soft drinks, which is hardly seen anywhere in Perth. And their efficient and nice service too. People here do know what they are doing and what customers want and when. Just impressed to experience this type of restaurant for the first time in a long time. I’m not really a meat lover but this will be my go-to place whenever my partner’s craving meat!

Service was great, staff were super helpful. The food was served within 10 minutes of ordering.
Serving size was super generous. Ribs were good, could’ve been a little softer. They are served with a barbecue sauce that could’ve had a bit more of a kick to it but that’s just a personal preference.

Overall, our experience was not good.
The atmosphere was strange and odd.
We felt ignored. Our tables was dark not much lighting and set way next to the kids play area.
My pulled pork was so bad. Dry, no sauce, tasteless. The hot dog fell apart.
My chips were hot, but others had stale, cold chips. Corn bread tasted like dry cardboard. The only good food was the buffalo wings.
The veggie bowl was broiled sweet potato.
The person who booked the table was treated rudely by staff. No one told us there was no table service, so we sat there waiting. We were able to hail a person who worked there. They told us no table service, but others didn't need to get up and order. It's very confusing.
We all had trouble finding and getting parking. Limited parking across the restaurant. It's park at your own risk.
3 toilets all unisex, clean at least.
We're not coming back. Some people might like this place but not us.

Ordered the 500g ribs with chips, and a serve of burnt ends. The burnt ends were spectacular. I really enjoyed them. The chips were amazing but in my opinion, the ribs were slightly better than average. Whilst the taste of them was satisfactory, I believe they were a touch overcooked and quite difficult to pull apart and quite hard on the chew. I’m in no way a chef or professional bbq cook, but I actually thought the paper like membrane on the underside was supposed to be removed. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. But mine was still on there and not great to eat. Other than that a pleasant restaurant and decent food.

My photo doesn’t do justice, but this platter is a good first timer order. The ribs, although it doesn’t easily fall off the bone, it’s tender and tasty. We liked the sauce (and the sauces on the side). The brisket’s really good. The rice is too oily though, but never the less it’s good as well.

I wanted to like this place, and the food was alright (though the chicken and some of the ribs were a bit dry)
Booked for my birthday, when arriving they couldn’t seem to find my booking which does happen it’s fine and we were seated anyway.
They told us come to the counter when we are ready to order, and we waited 5 minutes for them but weren’t given any menus…
Tried to find some menus, and eventually when I approached the counter finally they gave us some.
Finally ordered food, and asked for a platter and two bottomless teas and returned to the table.
Food took about 45 minutes, but the tea took over an hour to get, I asked once when food arrived if we’d be getting them and got up once to ask where the tea was when we were halfway done with the food already. Wasn’t until the third time I’d gotten up to ask we finally got them, when we were basically done eating soon. If you don’t want people to order the bottomless tea just don’t sell it! We also weren’t told how to get more so I had to bring them to the bar and ask for more.
Finally it seemed on several occasions they’d been trying to get us to leave, asking many times, including right after we’d just started eating, if we wanted a take away container for the rest of the food to leave, before we’d even gotten the tea as well.
Overall I was really hopeful for this place after going by a few times but I regret choosing it for my birthday.
My partner is American though so we appreciated that the food was pretty authentic and tasted like home. Service was just too much..
I’d planned to buy desserts for my birthday and more things but as I was just feeling very anxious and sad we left as soon as we could.

I shared the Brisket and Ribs meal with my hubby and it was generous size and good value for $44.
Everything was very tasty. Surprisingly I enjoyed the crumbed slab of Mac & Cheese. The chips were crispy and nicely seasoned. The brisket was lovely and tender. The ribs were tasty but we're a little dry and could have had more sauce, but over all I was very happy with the meal. I will definitely come again.

I really wanted to love this place but sadly I did not.
We arrived and found it very difficult to hear the waitress cause the music was so loud. Turns out it didn’t matter cause she explained the menu incorrectly.
I had the pulled pork which was nice. One of my sons had the brisket which he also enjoyed but the ribs my other son had were dried out and not nice to eat.
The cornbread was ok.
The worst part of the night was a mouse running around. I don’t mind mice but not when I’m out for dinner. Having said that the place did appear to be very clean.

I had just been to the dentist to get a filling and half of my face was numb so I got the brisket hoping it would be nice and tender and smothered in gravy, and that’s exactly what I got.
The chips were well seasoned, crispy and delicious covered in tender brisket and a thick gravy, the gravy was up there with some of the best gravy I’ve had.
I got a side of sweet potato and Parmesan, it was really yummy.
The staff were friendly and trying not to laugh when I struggled to order with one side of my face numb.
I will definitely be back to try the ribs.

I definitely want to try again on another day and see if it’ll be different/any better.
I tried the loaded fries which was good but I don’t think i’ll be getting it again as I ended up preferring the chips on their own. My partner got the beef burger/sandwich which was nice, although he said he remembers it being better the first time he tried it. We also ordered a side of 1 maryland (which was probably one of my favourites from the night as it was smokey, juicy and flavourful), as well as some pulled pork. The side of pulled pork was a little disappointing - we added a little salt but found that it was much better with their delicious bbq sauce.
Last for best is their banoffee pie!! I would come back just for that pie! We got a cherry pie and the banoffee for takeaway and my partner loved the banoffee over the cherry. They use a yummy buttery biscuit crust with looadss of caramel, banana pieces and beautiful cream on top. Highly recommend!
They can also accommodate for big groups - they have plenty of seating. The only thing I noticed was if it’s peak/really busy I don’t think there would be much parking but it’s right across the road from a train station.

I celebrated my birthday at Porkies and had a lovely time! The food is consistently good and the service staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a couple of the Samplers, and that was enough for 7 people to eat until they had to roll out of there. The Burnt Ends were delicious, as always! I love how the staff recommend the various options available, just in case you weren't sure of what you wanted.
For dessert, we couldn't decide on which pie to have so we had one of everything! Not overly sweet, which is a good thing, and large wedges for each serving.
I gave it 4 stars for the atmosphere, only because it's a bit dark in there but it absolutely didn't detract from the service and food, which was divine. Our family had a wonderful time. Thank you, Porkies! <3

Husband and I went for dinner. Pork Ribs were overcooked and I found mine quite dry. Husband had the tasting plate. The chicken was delicious and very tender. The rest was very ordinary. Table was ridiculously sticky. So much so my phone stuck to it. Wouldn't go back

Having a family vacation in the Perth city, and I thought it’s a must to try out the best grill in town. As usual with the help of Google search via Google map I found this gem located in the east of Perth I presume. The Sampler Set is the star of the night, which you get to try 3 type of protein, beef pork & chicken. Everything is so good including the sides, and the sauce provided. Highly recommended.

Great value for money.
The food was delicious & generous portions.
The price was amazing.
The Malbec was fantastic & well worth the bottle price.
The fact that we could takeaway leftovers was even better.
What's even more fantastic- was you could smell the amazing aromas a block away!!!

Great size serves and cheap desserts. Very nice cherry pie as well as pecan and others for only $7 aha it's bigger than those tiny slices at cafes.

Foods are great, mac and cheese is very good. Customer service is very good. Music a bit too loud for me (personally). It is a hot day, so inside is a bit warm. Price is ok. Will be back again when I need meat sweats.

Every time l’ve been there the foods been consistent. Love the flavours and the staff are so helpful and accommodating, if you love a good bbq and great atmosphere..l highly recommend porkies..great job guys 👍

Celebrated neffs birthday.
I ordered a brisket meal. Sooo bloody good. Meat melted in my mouth. "If thats a thing🤔😁.. They were really busy. As soon as a group left another was replacing them. I think we were a group of 14. We had the far corner close to the entry/ exit door. Got pretty warm later in the evening. I suppose porkies could do with a few more fans. Other than that thoroughly enjoyed everything. Oh! Also I love the homemade deserts, yummmyyy🤗🥳👍

Came here for dinner the other night, when it was closing at 8.30. We got there 7.45 and we’re a little worried about the time but didn’t need to be - service was very quick and so was the food! Got the sampler - everything delicious and can’t do anything more than other reviews have done. Definitely worth it. This place even has a playground for kids. The restaurant is decorated in a great way Americana style. But the food is the reason I’ll be back 😀
