This venue is still closing at 6am despite gov rules 4am shut down. So after 4am it's super busy, but payouts are rare.. staff id easy going. Although some patrons cause u to hold onto Ur handbag alot tighter.

Staff are very friendly. Food is delicious and cocktails are delicious. Atmosphere is great. Such a friendly warm vibe.

Since my last review I visited this venue again and this time the staff were far more hospitable, attentive and a touch friendly. They still don't offer self service ticketing on their gaming machines so u must call the one attendant they have working to come write u a slip then line up to cash it at the window. Their Pizza is so yum it's out of this world, for a crazy $8( u can order that anytime. The best value bottle of bourbon and coke mix is only $7! Almost half the price of other venues! Plenty of parking also.

Quiet corner pub not a great deal on the menu however reasonably priced and food was good.

Order came quickly and it was perfect 👌
Serving size was HUGE. You will not be left feeling hungry.
Just the pub parma feed I was craving!
They even took the time to write a thank you note and sent some extra mini muffins with the order ❤️ amazing guys. 100% would recommend.

My go to pub food in the area. I've ordered many many times from uber eats and it has been consistent, delicious food and generous portions. Burgers are amazing but the schnitzels are my favourite, nothing like a good schnitzel or parma!
Highly recommend Preston hotel for good value, quality pub grub food with a good price tag.

Just watched the older Asian staff member pull out all the remaining credit from multiple machines. If a patron did that they would be kicked out. It isn't even close to the close

It was loud, noise from pokies, sports bar made it impossible to think. I ordered dinner which was OK but had to put on headphones to deaden the noise. Not recommended.

I just went there yesterday for an open mic. Wow what a place, great view, such a nice and welcoming atmosphere. The host of the open mic was so friendly and even the people there were so good.

I have only been here 3 times and 2 out of those 3 I was there not by choice but by circumstances out of my control such as my friends car broke down out front. Anyway I won $1400 2 out of 3 visits. Completely random and without effort. Staff was polite and busy. Patrons quiet and envious. All in all it is a welcoming pleasant environment that offers food rest rooms, a decent drink( free if your playing in gaming room) and a welcoming smile greets you at the bar.

Honestly the food is decent and the staff are friendly enough, their parmas are pretty killer. But the people that visit there are plain feral, you can barely walk past without the smokers out the front harassing you, and going inside you get stares, snide little comments to each other. It's quote uncomfortable, really ruins the experience. :I

Head straight upstairs to the rooftop bar. Come in off the side street. It’s colourful, inviting and relaxed. Don’t be surprised if you are personally greeted by the owner. He is one of the friendliest business owners I’ve ever met. The staff were great. Very friendly and chilled. Sunset is beautiful. The food was good pub food with a great variety. Excellent chips! Try a Froze’ - great on a hot day. We had a really lovely experience and would go there again.

Guiness beef pie special is phenomenal and the best pie I have had in years! Amazing crust and pastry, superb beefy tender delicious filling and delightful sides a real treat!

Great food, the Resturaunt is clean and staff friendly. Good value for dinner and drinks but would be nice if they had a barman who knew how to make fancy cocktails. As I ordered one but was told they didn't have all the ingredients or a barman who knew how to mix cocktails. It's a bar, and should have one staff member capable of making cocktails. Otherwise lovely experience.

For a small venue it was pretty good its the first place where the manager came out and said not to leave my scooter out in the foyer and told me to bring it in and put it somewhere safe and out of the way that one simple jestture made me feel welcome and even tho I didn't walk out a winner I did sort of because out of every other single place that was a first

Fit out is dated and kitsch. Front bar has your usual Asahi labels on tap. VB etc. The one local brew I ordered was flat. Sorely needs a reno to revitalise the front bar. Very disappointing.

Been under new owners and the food is good Quality pub fare - and service is very friendly - and it’s like a throwback not pretentious - they have also just built a rooftop bar at the rear which is AMAZING !!

A group of us travelled over from Adelaide for my Sons wedding 💒
Approx 30 of us came into the Preston Hotel with not much notification for a meal and drinks on the Thursday & Friday night
The staff was great meals were fantastic 😁
A massive shout out to Kylie who worked her but off looking after us all Friday night and to the rest of the Preston staff thank you 🙏
