We stopped by to try out the PA hotel. The menu had some good options for small meals to share and because we were feeling like having a meat-free meal, there were enough vegetarian meals to pick from.
Service was a little slow but staff were friendly. Our meals were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that we could go to a pub and enjoy something other than classic pub meals. I'm sure they're great too!

We really enjoyed coming back to the PA for a generous serve of schnitzel. The beers were chilled to perfection and the wine selection was not too overwhelming. PA's staff are always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming. The food served just right. What more could we ask for?

We got the chicken burger and the Philly cheese steak. Burger was excellent but the beef in the cheese steak smelt and tasted a bit like farm animals. We asked the chef and it was meant to be like that so who am I to say. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere

We chose the Southern Chicken Burger and the Fish (flathead) and chips and both meals were nice.
The chips were hot and both meals were presented well.
Staff were friendly.
There was a table of 6 extremely loud people at the table next to us and it totally spoiled our evening.

Was doing my laundry across the road at H2O and was very lucky to notice the Prince Albert across the road kitty corner to the laundromat. It was a quiet holiday Monday on Adelaide Cup weekend, and the owner Darren was running the bar. My wife and I enjoyed being in a local pub which was clean, chique, confortable and a local favorite. If you are from out of town and visiting Adelaide, this is a place you will enjoy and likely would not find in most google ranked venues. They have a great pub restaurant and very safe feeling atmosphere.

Unreal vibe for a Friday knock off. $6 local beer specials plus some great live acoustic. Right up with one of the best parmy's I've had in recent time!

This was our second chance visit to this pub, after a disaster on first visit.
However this visit(approx 1 month ago), was wonderful. The service from staff was great, food was great, and our group of 11 people had a really good night.
Tip. If you have a group, ask if for the private dining room is available.
I am so glad that we gave it a second chance, and happy that the owner, Darren, took the time to follow up with us about our experience.
Will definitely go back.

This is a cool little pub that is a shining light at night down the darkened end of Wright Street. Lovely decor and a friendly and fun atmosphere, the food though... hmm. How do you dress up boring menu items? You give the food fancy descriptions. My "Japanese" chicken katsu sandwich with yuzu mayo and shredded cabbage was, in fact, a chicken schnitzel with garlic aoli and coleslaw, between two pieces of toast. The chips (and schnitzel) had that weird burned oil(?) - slightly fishy taste.
The prices are eye watering, and my bill for this "Asian" food catastrophe, $30 bucks!
Good for a drink, avoid the food.

They had two fire places going in the bar, so cosy and inviting. The bar area also had an amature date board for fun. Drinks were well made and priced. Service staff were friendly and happy. We had dinner and enjoyed the barramundi, curry of the day, salt and pepper squid and a beef roll.
Everyone enjoyed their meals finding the protein cooked perfectly, accompanied by a simple fresh leaf salad, that looked pretty on the plate and really nice chips. My only negative comment was my barramundi was 2 very thinly sliced pieces that even for me was not enough. It was grilled and got quiet crunchy. I left feeling hungry! Everyone had generous serves - especially the curry which we asked for extra chilli - very nice. The dining area was neat, modern, inviting and clean.

The PA is one of the last standing truly LOCAL city pubs. From wherever you may come from, the moment you walk in you feel like you're one of the bricks. Located in a somewhat residential part of the CBD, slipping into the PA feels like a time warp. Open fire places, excellent music, and a phenomenal menu that I'm slowly working my way through. I've seen the pub go through a number of hands while I've lived in the city, but the current owner clearly knows what makes a city pub work. Rotating beer of the month is fun, as is their Friday "sidewalk" spit roast and meat raffle. The PA has made city pubs fun again.

The meals were excellent, especially the chips (this is important).
Great atmosphere. Clean and welcoming.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
The only slight negative is, there's not dessert menu. But this didn't tarnish the positive experience.

The food itself was great, but the pub provided a very limited menu which was disappointing. The dining area is nice and welcoming and the team serving were awesome. A huge shout out to Sachiel who was not only friendly, but professional in his approach and fun to talk to. I'll definitely go back!

The absolute best pub in Adelaide, I have had the best times out on a night out with friends and family. Hats off to the owner Darren, best looking pub owner in Adelaide. Satch is the coolest bartender in Australia.

Great welcome to the town. Prince Albert is an old pub that has great ambiance. The staff are all warm friendly and welcoming. We had a blast 💥 just chatting and the food was great. I’m vegetarian and the Vegan schnitzel was great 👍🏾. My friends also enjoyed their meals to the fullest. We will be back. The drinks were great too.

Great pub meal for a steak & drink on the go! Surprised we did not get any salad or veggies but alas, I'm also not a rabbit. Great vibe & entertaining entertainment to boot. Gotta go!

Great experience. The bar staff manager was very accommodating and upgraded my table of 15 to a private space, which was very much appreciated.

Great atmosphere, food is delicious as you won't ever be disappointed, beer and beverage very cheap. You will be relaxing by the time you walk into the door and you will be wanting to come back again.

Chicken Schnitzel was excellent however the Caesar Salad with chicken was disappointing
Outside seating comfortable and efficient heating
Service bar person helpful and knowledgeable with food and beer choices
Thanks for your reply and offer Darren!
The PA Caesar Salad (gf) 22 Crispy speck, white anchovies, toasted sourdough,
soft egg, lemon oil, gorgonzola ranch, pecorino
+ chicken +6 The only criticism was the chicken ($6) hardly noticed content BUT overall an excellent meal See you next time

Ah, the PA, a bastion of local charm nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a sense of belonging, like a timeless part of its history. Located in a quiet corner of the CBD, it's a portal to another era with its open fireplaces, soul-stirring music, and a menu that promises culinary exploration.
Under its current stewardship, the PA thrives with a keen understanding of what makes a city pub shine. The rotating beer of the month and lively Friday "sidewalk" spit roast and meat raffle add to its allure, making it a beacon of joy in the urban landscape. For those seeking a revitalized city pub experience, look no further—the PA is where tradition meets modern excitement.

A hidden gem in the South-west corner of the CBD, the Prince Albert really delivers! Friendly service and great vibe to sit outdoors enjoying a beer. I keep going back for the Steak-frittes - sensational! Tender beef, delicious chips and always perfectly cooked - love it
