We waited almost an hour for our breakfast, it was partly cold, bacon not cooked. Then 45min later were told to hurry up because the next sitting was coming in. Never again.

Went here for a late breakfast 11am. I had eggs Benedict was made with ham not bacon but very nice ,great price and lovely staff. Will go back to check it out next time I'm in Gawler😊

We had a very lovely dinner at the pub / cafe. We sat a table with off chairs from the 80s. Food portioning was generous and good value. We tried the beef roast, salt and pepper squid, fish and chips, and chicken snitizel. Nothing fancy but really nice.

Very country pub style and feel.
Staff were friendly and the food was good.
Beef snitty, Grilled Chicken pesto burger and a Carbonara with Fettuccine..with starters and drinks it totalled $128.
Very enjoyable evening.

This place is super cute,warm and friendly staff,great dining areas inside and alfresco,and the food is sooo good

This afternoon between 3.30 and 3 45pm, the bar person wanted to serve me a drink in the same glass. I asked her for a clean glass because it's against the law to do this. She moanes and complained. Bad customer service as a representative of the business. In the 15 minutes I was there, I noticed her not sanitising her hands and handling all services and things in and around the bar. To my amazement, she used her dirty hands and fingers to handle the fork part customers eat food from on each fork as she was setting up cutlery. This practice could get the owners in trouble, lawsuits and loss of licence.
This was just in 15 minutes.....bad practices that can harm people in the community. Can the owners please fix this problem as this person is a liability to their business.

Spontaneously decided to try this pub for lunch with my two young kids. I ordered the roast special which was turkey and it was sooooo delicious and hit the spot. Fries serving was huge but still cheap. Easy ham and cheese toastie for an affordable kids meal. Breakfast until 2pm is also a great option. The huge drawcard was the kids play area which has tables just next door so you can relax whilst you kids can play and not be bored. My kids loved it. One less star though as the coffee was not great. Not sure if the almond milk was old but just couldn’t drink it. Thanks, we will be back ☺️

Saw Scramlette on the menu and didn't look any further. Was fantastic. Nice quiet, friendly environment for a relaxed breakfast wake up. Reasonable prices too. 6 stars!

Pretty rude waitress staff, as a retail worker myself I would never behave how she did.
The girl with the long brown hair and plates, maybe be a little nicer? You made me feel bad for saying hi, asking, for a menu even. I hate to be a karen like this, just so so mean.

Pretty disappointed. Came here for a basic pub feed.
Vegetables weren't fresh, signs of decay as seen in pictures.
Steak looks good in picture but was not that good in reality. Tasted like it had been microwave defrosted then seared on grill. Looked greyish in real life, not fresh, lacked decent flavour.
How hard is it to cook a schnitty and steak on a Saturday night at 630?
Won't be coming back ever.

Nice little place to eat at!! Made a brownie up as a birthday treat for my little one it had a candle and happy birthday on the plate. Food was tasty!!!

I was with family, first time to come here at Gawler, had a reservation a day prior. There was this one staff who purposely did not serve us, not sure what her reason was for treating us the way she did but she was definitely giving us the rude unwelcoming look like she did not want us there. Quality of the food does not match with their pricing. Steak was not presented as ordered, asked for a medium rare, they gave a well done one. I would not recommend for family gatherings and for overseas visitors, I would not want anyone to experience such discrimination.

I love going here as the food is always so yummy and the staff are so friendly and happy
I can sit out in the beer garden with my dogs
And they have healthy dog treats at the bar some the dogs don't miss out

I cannot get enough of this place. The fact that they only have craft beers on tap makes the place an instant go to for me not to mention the atmosphere and ambience in the main bar. Awesome food too would recommend any day of the week

Hotel with retro charm. Staff are amazing! They have been very accommodating to the group who attend regular coffee mornings here. Fabulous staff, always friendly and smiling.
Even when there is a power outage, the PAH team are super amazing at getting orders out once power was restored.
Meals have been tasty, look amazing and well priced.
Love the cake and coffee deal... the scones are served with a generous topping of jam & cream... delicious 😋
Highly recommend the Prince Albert Hotel.

Great lunch today, we both went for $17 for 1/2 snitzels, beef, salad, chips and house gravy and chicken,salad, chips and extra $4 for garlic sauce. Great meal couldn't fault it. Service was great also.....great options for the $17 lunch options.....thank you

Great feed, even better service!
My partner and I walked in just as lunch was finishing, and instead of turning us away the lady behind the bar was so pleasant and told us to hold on while she asked the chef if we had time to order, she came back and told us the chef would be happy to still serve us as long as we ordered now, my parter had the full schnitzel I had the 1/2 schnitzel
House and dianne gravy were both delicious and the salad was fresh!
Not drenched in balsamic vinegar like most places these days!

Food was pretty decent! Great serving size. Unfortunately being upstairs in the function room we had to walk up and down to order meals and drinks all the time. Would have been nice to have some service upstairs where we were seated for the birthday dinner.

Even though it was a Thursday night steak special, it was the worse steak I have ever had in my life... and I have had some pretty bad steaks. When I informed 2 staff of how bad the steak was, I was offered a free drink. I declined the offer as I was driving. Dont think I will be going back there in a hurry.

Edit,since my first review Ur group has gone there many times and still exceptionally good service. They are aware of our needs and nothing is too much trouble for them
Cannot speak more highly of this pub. Needed to take a group, without notice, and they not only accommodated us with a friendly attitude and helpful manner, they made sure our area was set up and appropriate for our needs. We have now been a couple of times there and they have a children's room, clean facilities, staff who are welcoming and a menu which is worth perusing . For a pub meal it is fresh, tasty and very pleasing to the eye. And mouth 👄👄👄 Very impressed.

Continue of Guinness Pub Finder visits. Chicken Schnitzel with Surf and Turf was the best I have ever had. Salad dressing was great. Worth the visit.

Amazing food. Lots of gluten free options. Lovely friendly staff. Lots of different areas to sit, including a children's area with games. Highly recommend.
