We would like to thank Matt and the staff at the Pymble Hotel for a great stay (22 – 28 June 2023). I grew up in Sydney (St Ives) and often spent time at the Pymble Hotel (and the Greengate) in my late teens and early 20’s before relocating to Perth in 1985. Mum and Dad and the brothers still live in Sydney and staying at the Pymble Hotel was very convenient to them and also the train line. (Pymble station) We found the food, service and the room excellent and would not hesitate in staying at the Pymble Hotel again. The bathroom and bedroom was very modern and recently renovated and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the room was serviced each day. There are three choices of bar areas, one of which shares the dining area and there are two open fireplaces there and at the this time of the year it was very nice! Its a fantastic and traditional hotel with modern conveniences. Thanks again and see you next time!

Went in for late lunch/dinner. Carpark was actually decent. The driveway to the larger carpark was a tad narrow so if you’re driving down the main road and you miss it then you’ll need to go back around. The pub itself was very clean and had a nice layout. Was kind of disappointed about the food options. The online menu had quite a few options but when we went in, the menu was quite limited. Basically only a 250g rump, schnitzel, parma, grilled fish, steak sandwich and a couple of burgers in addition to some sides like garlic sourdough, salt and pepper squid and nachos. (everything else was unavailable). The garlic sourdough….it was nice bread, however, I’m not quite sure it was sourdough (flavour was good though). The salt and pepper squid was quite soggy with no crunch or texture. The steaks were a tad overdone but still nice. Wouldnt have noticed how dry it was if there was slightly more sauce (felt like it was 2 spoons worth). Service was amazing and food came out pretty fast.

We have not been there for a few years and we loved it! There was a young man managing who looked after us well. Thanks Tom - your friendly service made our night and we will definitely be back.

We didnt see much food thats around the hotel, but the hotel had everything, a bar, slot machine n yummy steaks. We enjoyed our stay in a clean spacious room for 2 w toilets. A plus- 2free drinks at the bar! Service is friendly. Guests enjoy 10% at the bar n food.👍 The only con-no lifts as its a heritage bldg. Therefore u need to bring light. 1 flight of beautiful stairs awaits

We couldn’t fault the Hotel. We stayed there for one night for easy access to The Bobbo. Beau was excellent as were all of the staff. Room was surprisingly better than expected, clean and well presented. We had a dinner and a lunch and had no issues with anything that was presented to us. I have driven past here so many times in the past, but will be back as a visitor or a guest again in the future. Could you do thick cut chips rather than the thin chips? Just a personal preference.

very bad experience on gaming room visit today, been here few times and never have problems with how i play the machine which is I got told 2times i hit the machine too hard. I couldn't believe how ALH training their gaming boys. I believe Gaming room carry out most of ur incomes/revenue,and treated $10 bet customer like that. I think ur area manager Mike should have organise more Mystery Customer visit pymble hotel more often and get a good gaming supervisor give them proper training

Stopped off for a quick meal and a Beer. Service was from a phone app on the table. No info how to get food. We ordered Burgers they were just okay for the price. Patties tough and over done. Staff were friendly and the atmos was good.

Seemed to be renovated since I last visited a couple of years ago. Atmosphere was bright & busy. Service was friendly & helpful. Selection of seating from noisy to quiet. Good food, prepared on site. Wide choice of drinks. Value for money. Approach to parking takes some planning, but Telegraph Road helps.

Nice pub and atmosphere and there are not many options on Sydneys’s north shore. They really made huge improvements over the past view ears, becoming a neighbourhood place with great lunch specials and decent meals. Even added a limited outside area for warm days

Nice old pub with a tasteful fitout. Medium rare steak was overcooked. Has potential, but kitchen needs to lift their game .

Nice food. Schnitzel ends up around $27 after upgrading to vegetables and sauce. $9 schooner. Tricky parking - if you don't get a free park you need to be really committed to walking. Ladies toilet cubicles are weirdly narrow and not that private given the door hinge location. Period architecture is lovely.

My partner and I were looking forward to enjoying dinner at the Pymble Hotel tonight, however the salmon dish we usually order had reduced in portion size. Very disappointing

Love the new dinner menu, great place for regular dinner with friends and family. Food is of a higher standard than a typical pub and the atmosphere is comfortable with cosy separate dining area.

It's OK. The menu changes reasonably regularly but sometimes the vegetarian options are very limited, says my wife. I tend to agree. The steaks are usually cooked very well but last time I had the steak an Guiness pie. The pie was nice but did not have the robust flavour that you'd expect. We previously visited more often but now return every few weeks to see what is new on the menu.

It is a good hotel which is very close to the railway station. It has a lovely pub as well. Rooms are a bit smaller, but they have relatively bigger and well equipped bathrooms. Tea / coffee making facilities are included in the room, and toiletries are provided. Onside parking and free unlimited WiFi are available to the guest. All in all, for the money paid, the place was good.

Great looking pub with very professional service. The food was excellent too, especially the steak sandwich. They put both the NRL and rugby union on the big screens so that we could watch both simultaneously. Full marks!

Dropped in for a cool beer and a meal. The veggie burger was suburb, couldn’t get a pre attack photo as was too hungry and couldn’t restrain myself 😂 The quarter house steak cooked to perfection ✅ Beer cold and entree great, what more can you ask for 👍

Driven past a thousand times in the last decade and finally stopped to visit. Had a drink in the ground floor bar with a friend. Nice staff. Good beer. Didn't eat so can't comment on the food. Thought it might be a bit more heritage like but was fairly standard with bright lighting and sports on big screens. Bit low on ambience. Wouldn't rush back to be honest but of the very very few pub options in the area this is definitely one of them.

Can recommend the steak sandwich with a Balter XPA for lunch. The steak had a great smoky grill flavour. The building has lots of character. Worth a visit.

A fine dinning experience awaits you at the Pymble Hotel. A classic list of pub favourites is sure to wet your appetite. If you are dry the beer of of month pints for $ 7 will certainly satisfy. Recently renovated will still the old charm attached. Book a seat by the fireplace is certainly a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Don't let me be the judge drop in for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely banging cocktails by Mitch, the Emerald Tropics he whipped up for us was the absolute standout for the night. Absolutely love it, definitely ask of they're up for cocktails beyond what's on the basic menu.
