Queanbeyan Leagues Club

While visiting Queanbeyan met up with family for dinner. Great meals. Very generous servings. Staff were nice. Lovely views over the river. Premises inside have been upgraded. Downside - Front street entry closed off. Very grubby looking and run down.. No sign to say where new entry was. Had to walk around building and find new door entry. Outside of building needs to to be uplifted and cleaned .The lovely outdoor area with beautiful views overlooking the river is for everyone to enjoy but it is also the designated area for smokers. Not so good if you are not a smoker. Also when my husband ordered a scotch and dry - 1 nip of scotch was $7. 20 plus also had to buy a small bottle of ginger ale at over $5.00 bottle separately .The bottle of ginger ale was then used for my hubby for any further drinks of another nip of scotch at $7. 20 nip. Bit stunned by this setup. And that is called a scotch and dry. Very expensive drink. Not impressed with this cost.

When I got to reception the staff were very welcoming. I was there to grab something to eat. The food was sensational. A very good serving which I like. When I wanted to grab a hot chocolate and dessert the service went to another level. They really made sure I was very well looked after and spoiled. A good place to visit for a meal and to relax.

Well set out, staff happy and good dinner, nice and polite staff makes it a nice place to go for a few hours if you have them. Good selection on menus.

The Leagues Club is outstanding value. We went there for lunch and the Calimari was as good as it gets. Very good Bangers and Mash. Cost was $14 for members which is very cheap also.

The food was delicious and the service was great. It's always easy to book a table. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The meals are a good price. You can have a good view over the river, and it has a children's playroom, which is very handy.

Stayed a caravan park 600 meters away. Tuesday is 17 dollar steak night and Thursday is 14 dollar schnitzel night. I can vouch for the schnitzel. Big and tasty. If I lived in Canberra area I would become a member.

Rump was meant to medium well,it was over cooked Other meals were perfect,but wife had rump steak reason for 3 stars

Quality of food is excellent and consistent. My steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service is always great and staff are genuinely cheerful and helpful.

Often I go there for a lunch and maybe a small slap on the pokies. Most the time, it's been great food. I think only once, it wasn't the best. But hey, you can't be 100% perfect all the time. Definitely will be back 😊

I don’t like your chip vending machines. I paid for a packet of chips which didn’t come out. I was told the machine couldn’t be opened and that the company would probably provide a credit - I just wanted some chips! Backwards move I reckon - definitely not more convenient for customers!

I booked for 16 people after we held the second day of our lace convention. Everyone enjoyed their meals, they were brought out super fast and the service was really friendly. I had the light schnitzel and it was an excellent serving size and very tasty.

Great club .It was very busy but the food was serviced fast and delicious 😋 drink service was excellent.

Good place to visit with family or friends. Has a decent bistro. Has many poker machines including large outdoor smoking area.

Good -Friendly staff. -Bright atmosphere. -Efficient service. -Food quality was much higher than I expected. -Indoor playground. -$10 Kiz meal include ice cream & choice of topping. -Big portion of food. Bad -Tap beer's taste is too weak.

Good food service was great. If your getting 29r more meals and drinks join it will save you a few dollars and if you go back will save more

Fantastic club to eat and drink! Large as Pacific oysters and a steak worth your time and money. Perfectly cooked medium rare. The specials board looked great; obviously the chef and kitchen here are passionate about food. Also what a wonderful view over the river! Excellent!

Even at 1.50pm the lovely staff took my order and cooked beautiful food. Thank you 😊

Chicken kebabs, Jasmine rice and saute sauce! It was all so delicious! And it was only $14!! (Member price and $17 for nm). I come here every now and again and have loved it every time. I definitely reccomend!! The seating is great, and the food is so good with very reasonable pricing!

Bit of a strange entrance on this premises, round the back side. Heaps of pokies if that's your thing, sports bar has a big screen tv. Worth while becoming a member for 12month for $5 to get the member discounts if your staying up here for work ect. Food is ok but nothing you'd rave about, ate here a fee times and different meals, pretty consistent. Barramundi, which was a special at the time was the best meal I had here by far.

A variety of reasonably priced food choices. The lunchtime specials were great value and our choices were delicious. The customer service was excellent. A very relaxing atmosphere to sit and chat with family and friends.

Always super busy at lunch for their $12 specials. Great value meals. Wide variety & tasty. Heaps of free parking. Nice views of the River from the bistro. Sports bar needs more screens. Club is heavily weighted towards their pokies.

Absolutely delicious food. Squid is divine, steaks are awesome. It's great, well priced too.
