What a little Gem. This place is a great for families with little kiddies. The kids play area is a huge hit for the kiddies and you are close enough to still supervise when dining on the deck. I thought the food was fantastic for a Bistro. It was a bonus that the pizza's were woodfire. Very reasonably priced. This was our first visit and we will definitely come back.

Went on a weekday brunch. Service was excellent 😁 Food is fresh and tastes good 👍 Family/Kid friendly too (playground).

Went here for the first time the other night. I was told they had recently redone it and it looks great. You wouldn’t expect it looking from the outside but once you walk in it’s like you’ve been taken to another place.
It looks to be owned by the same group that owns Macarthur Tavern as it’s the same food (just a more condensed version) and same feel.
The outdoor kids play area/deck is great, they just need to sort out their licensing in order for alcohol to be taken out there.
The food is great, maybe just slightly under in quality than what we’ve had from Macarthur Tavern, but still delicious.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.
Will be back for sure as it’s a nice space with a great area for my 6 year old to run around in.

We had a birthday dinner for a friend last night and we hadn’t been to the Hotel for years. We had a wonderful night, there was a guy playing guitar and singing and he had everyone singing and having a great time. Our meal at the bistro was beautiful and an extra bonus, it was a Sunday and kids eat free. The kids had fun in the enclosed outside play area with seating, the younger one’s playing on the equipment and the older kids at the seating area chatting and meeting new friends. They let us take our own birthday cake and they even provided plates, knife and spoons to eat it from.
Would recommend to try Raby Tavern for your next outing.

Not bad inside, outside is a little run down, especially the shopping centre below. Would be nice if it has a better outdoor area like some of the other pubs do in the area. When it was rebuilt after the fire they should have put the bottle shop underneath and made the drive through a nice outdoor area for families. Inside is nice though with a fairly new play area for the children.

My wife and I thought we'd give the pub's new look and food a try 2 weeks ago and was not disappointed. We each ordered the pizza which was huge, well made with lots of topping. The pub has been spruced up nicely. We will return tonight to celebrate out 15th wedding anniversary. I would have no hesitation to recommend this establishment if you want a family night out,

Met friends for dinner last night! Ordered the smoked salmon bruschetta which was delicious so we were looking forward to our dinner!
Ordered two surf and turfs with salad and chips steaks were so tough not edible at all salad should be on a seperate plate as it was wilted and very little dressing! Other meal was the grilled barramundi fish was dry! no seasoning and again salad was wilted due to hot plate!
So very sad to write this review but don’t think we will waste our money on food there again. 😔

Lack of knowledge of the Liquor Act from the manager and security.
FYI, a responsible adult, in relation to a minor, means an adult who is—
(a) a parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor, or
(b) the minor’s spouse or de facto partner, or
(c) for the time being standing in as the parent of the minor.
If the adult is intoxicated or has a disability that prevents them from ‘controlling’ the children, fair enough. Please educate staff so as to engage in discourse or it could easily be misconstrued as discrimination.

its a pub and the kids running in and out are having fun and letting the parents enjoy their meal. i dont see how its the staffs responsibility to keep them quiet. Meals are great, have never had any problem and huge variety

I love it.
I’m a simple eater so a well done steak and chips sees me through.
The chicken parmigiana is nice too.
Great feed and family environment plenty of open seating.
They also have free wifi for patrons and disabled parking too.
Waitress was nice and friendly and atmosphere was awesome.
The 3 of us (2 adults 1 child)ate for $25 as we used our nsw voucher.
Over all recommended,very friendly place 😋

I have no other words apart from AMAZING!! I have never had a pub feel that tasted so delicious and was so filling. The service was beyond what you would expect. Would definitely come back again!!!

Haven't been to the tavern for many years but it's been renovated, very comfortable, reasonable prices, clean, covid safe requirements for entry, food selection was varied & tasty. I won't hesitate to become a regular user of their dining. Very pleased.

Had a good meal tonight. Burgers were very tasty, felt my patty on the jburger was a bit small compared to the salad ratio. The bbq cheeseburger looked on point however.

Had a birthday there and booked out the outside play area. The place was very clean and well presented. We had over 30 people who all ordered their food at the same time and the food came out nicely and well timed. Everyone loved the food.

Great variety of food. Average prices, quantity & quality. Our kids love the play area and it's nice to be able to dine in open plan alfresco. Most of us had the schnitzel the past two visits here but what looked the best was our friends steak sandwich!
I was disappointed that the fries could not be changed to mash with a meal unlike every other pub I've ever been. Should you want mash with your meal it's an extra $5.
Not sure if it's mentioned anywhere but there is a surcharge for card payments.

Great pub with great food and entertainment. Plenty of screens to watch sports on inside and outside. Playground for the kids inside, It’s a great little pub.

Good little pub with a a fair bit of food menu variety. We went on Trivia night so it was packed, and food wait times in turn were excessive but when it arrived it was fresh, tasty (possibly a little
large) but otherwise a good pub feed. Kids play area to keep young ones occupied and indoor / covered “outdoor” seating.

Food was absolutely scrumptious but the lady taking the orders was not so good !!!! Having been our 2nd time dining there she stuffed up our orders on both occasions and puts the blam on the customer. If you read this could you please make sure you repeat the customer's order back to them to see if there are any corrections that need to be done, you have one job, make sure you do it correctly !!!!

Closes at 12am but Keno and tab machines and 'tills' are all taken away and closed by 10:30pm....
Over all normally a good experience here.

Came for dinner with the family, I found the menu quiet costly and the dishes disappointing. Chose the grilled fish which was over cooked and dry, entree I could not fault (image) but $$$. I was told that lunch menu here is much better. Aside from the food we had live music going (Friday evening) would recommend making a table reservation as it is busy here.

Came for dinner with my family, wow wht a delicious food so fresh and yummy, the service was excellent thumps up to the chefs ,you guys did amazing job.we will be back again

Came for dinner ordered steak and ribs but when it seemed like the wait was too long checked. Food had been ready and waiting for a while. Buzzer was broken. $100 for cold steak and ribs. No one checked or offered to prepare again. Poor customer service. Shame because the want to like this pub. It’s my local

An absolutely appalling, blatant disrespect to the local patrons trying to have an organised family gathering whether being a birthday in which ourselves plus another party was try to hold or just a family gathering or with friends.
Understanding the revenue aspect of holding cricket association presentation within the venue.
Not understanding, after approaching management on the noise level in which was clearly heard from the toilets a far and the commotion associated with the 50 plus people condensed in the confined area with the inside area, the total disregard to the locals when the alternative was to host the presentation upstairs. Whether this was beyond comprehension to management?????.
Clearly a cricket association from Macquire fields on an annual gathering gets priority over the local patrons that turns the revenue over for the club. Having management explain to myself it’s a one off was an insult, having to explain that there’s more than one sporting association that gets hosted in the confined club.
Simple reduction in the volume on the microphone, which wasn’t necessary to begin with, relocation was a simple solution to the problem, obviously to much for the immaturity of the manager on hand that clearly just wanted to brush the issue.
Simply an appalling experience from the venue but even more from management.
So if a venue to take your family to listen to a pack of drunken sporting members and the president of the association screaming over a microphone drowning out your social family gathering, along with appalling management, Raby Rose is for you!
Raby Rose will be the thorn in your gathering you’re looking for on your next experience!
